I can't really throw all the blame at the hotel because I wasn't really in charge of selecting the hotel as the agent did it himself, and it was my first time abroad so I didn't bother. As you might see in other reviews, there's a common complaint: It's too far away. It is. I didn't check it, as I didn't bother, but anyone who wants to stay in this hotel please see the location first. It's around 6-7km away from Pratunam market, which is the centre of the city and around 9-10 km away from the grand palace. In contrast, a hotel near the market area is around 5 km from the grand palace. The location is a real problem. At mornings, you'll get taxi but as it's way too far away, at peak hours even meter taxis ask for a fixed price and refuse to go there. The only way to reach the hotel swiftly by a taxi is to take the highway which makes a hole of another 50 baht in your pocket. Another thing is, the hotel staff was either dumb or just didn't want to help. What kind of staff doesn't know where to point out the location of the hotel in the map? They even refused to tell the location of the local area the hotel was in. Really, really pathetic. Let's talk about food. Those who book from travel agents will probably get free breakfast. The menu was really blant and less but it was good. Not very good, but good. One advice I'd like to give to this hotel is to stop making Indian chapatis as they really make it bad. I would've liked more Thai menu. I obviously love Indian food but there was no Thai food option which was very, very weird. One advice to travelers eating food inside the hotel: don't. They charge horrendously and the quantity is very less. You just can't fill your stomach in. If you need food, go right or left hand side at night and you'll get 6-7 street food vendors which give really tasty food. I ate a 70rs chicken fried rice which was pretty tasty and I didn't get any stomach problems eating it either. As far as rooms are concerned, those are really good. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is comparatively big and there's regular room clean up at the mornings. I really liked the rooms. As much as I love the rooms, these 3 cons just diminished my desire to stay at that hotel. I really advice travelers to think twice or thrice before choosing this hotel as it being far away from city centre is a bad, bad luck. Especially because it's Bangkok, you'll be stuck in traffic for 30 mins for a 3 km stretch. So choose your hotel location well, folks. That'll be all!
Very poor service.... Waiter is only the luggage carrier... Rooms are just low standard... There is not even a cupboard in room for keeping clothes No locker also Locks are too undependable of room... Very low standard and uncomfortable rooms... Situated far away from indra market... No food or restaurants nearby this hotel for atleast 4-5 kms strech....
My visit here was for a very short while and quick. The rooms and environment here are excellent, and the place is beautifully conserved. The staff is friendly, and the food is pleasant. Important places are located here, many more at just a walking distance.
The Hotel is average. Hotel Location is not good, cant find near to hotel. Markets are far. Rooms are average without balcony.the entire room looks like low class and still charge high amount as accomplish cost.
Only work for some hours and in room only, providing lunch in breakfast which is not good, rooms never smelt good in three days. Paint was off from walls , only hot water in bathroom, no blanket available only blanket they provide is so itchy which is like taken from streets.
Really pathetic hospitality, Not easily connected to the center of the city. Better to find some diffrent hotels. Never ever want to go again there. Hospitality and comfort was not upto the mark.!!!!!!
Very very worst hotel in my life.. my advice dont stay here.. my ratting for this hotel -5 star.. all staff's are in this hotel treat our group us like dog.. we are stay 20 persons.. all are fight them..
We booked the deluxe room which is the bed room with the living room. But when we go up to the room, it just one bedroom with the strong smell of painting. So i called to change the room. It took a while but finally i got the real deluxe room with the better look. We check in at the late night. The man at the front desk is rude. The morning breakfast is quite ok. So be careful when checking in. The location is bad and noisy from the traffic. We will never come back again.
Good budget hotel with very large rooms. Breakfast buffet was quite sad. They refused to serve black tea! Even in the rooms, instead of the standard tea/coffee hamper, they provided only cardamom milk tea option. Big disappointment as I drink only black tea or green tea. Restaurant food tastes decent but very small quantities. Very far off from clubbing zones like Sukhumvit and RCA. But we could easily hire cabs and tuktuks so were able to manage.
Booked a trip for Bangkok through Easemytrip (India) and was told to stay in 4**** hotel ie Howard Square Boutique hotel ,reported to be a excellent hotel for stay and we so agreed. On reporting we felt of our mistake. Very bad location and no good eating joint nearby. If you are in shopping areas ie Indira square, Platinum Mall even taxis avoid to come to this hotel due to traffic jam on the way and non availability of passenger from there.People at reception were cold and unfrofessional except one Mr Lucky. Room though was very big but the properties there were old and rough requiring repair. Bathrooms with vent surprisingly in the room. It was like a room in Dharamshala ie night shelter. Buffet Dinner served was too spicy and novice bearers . BF also unhygienic and spilled here and there . Overall a very poor experience we ever had.
