Connecting room available. Strategic place to go to the pratunam night market, etc.. You can shop wholesale fashion outside the hotel in the morning.. Clean and tidy room.. Will come again next time..
The hotel is very strategically located near Platinum Mall in the Pratunam area. The lobby is located at the second floor since there are shops at the ground floor already. The breakfast area is at the second floor as well. Food variety is acceptable. The rooms are well lit and spacious even for 3 people for the deluxe room. This hotel is perfect for those who are visiting Bangkok just to go shopping as it is walking distance to the Platinum Mall, Central World Mall and Shibuya Mall. The staffs are always ready to assist you even for the hotel transfer going to the hotel. The shops at the ground floor are open as early as 6AM until 3PM only.
It is cheaper by half compared to other hotels. Although location is slightly deep in the alley, the interior is way cleaner than the exterior. The entrance was kinda puzzling. Location is near Malls and food stores!
My first time staying at this hotel. At the start, it was a little hard for the taxi to locate this hotel. However, once you stay there once, it is really easy to find it again because of the large Soi 19 Wanton Noodle banner. Furthermore, because of their great location (close to Pratunam market), I was able to do tons of shopping!
This hotel isn't fantastic at all, but I can't fault it for the price and location. It used to be better when it first opened, but hasn't been sufficiently maintained. Location: Pros: Great for shopping being a short walk to Platinum Mall, and a longer but manageable walk to Central World.Plenty of food in the vicinity, though avoid the seafood place at the bottom of GLOW Shibuya. Cons: The alley it's in is fairly hard for even seasoned cabbies to find. Pedestrian traffic and hawker carts make the road congested and hardly driver friendly. The hotel's lobby is on the second floor of a building and the ground floor is a wholesale clothing market of sorts. Be prepared for crowds before 4pm as you make your way to the elevator and if you've got luggage with you, good luck. For the paranoid here, yes, the clothing market is also a fire hazard. Security-wise, I saw an access card panel at the elevator lobby on the ground floor that was likely supposed to restrict access to all but hotel guests. However, this wasn't in use and literally anyone could take the elevators straight up to the guest rooms without first going through the lobby. Convenient for hotel guests, certainly, but also not the most secure. Hotel: Fairly new hotel although maintenance hasn't been top notch. My first room on the 4th floor had a desk that had been scribbled on with a pen and the bathroom not only lacked hot water but smelt of drains. The lampshade was yellow with age and the bedspread had a stain. I requested a room change and got a much better room directly above. Beds were on the hard side and pillows too soft so some in our party woke up with a neck ache. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided but bedroom slippers can be gotten from the reception desk. If you happen to get a room facing the shops downstairs, be prepared for some noise starting from 8 or 9 in the morning. I heard this lady shouting the same thing over and over again every morning. Double glazed windows would really make a difference. Wifi stopped working on our third night. Saw two cockroaches shortly after I got off the elevator at night on the fourth floor. One was right on the corridor while the other was trying to make its way into a guest room (thankfully, the gap under the door wasn't large enough). Verdict Hotel Vista Express isn't too bad considering the price and location but it's certainly not for the fussy. Just don't expect too much and you'll be fine. But I'd recommend paying slightly more to stay in a better place if you can afford it.
Nice hotel with big room. Friendly staff and good breakfast, many option of foods and drinks. Only one problem if you stay as group they have no parking lot for van or car. If you want to check out you have to walk with your luggage untill main road. But if you are a shopper the location is good near platinum mall and morning fashion market just below the hotel.
Hotel location is good. Reception staffs and staffs at the breakfast area are unfriendly and unprofessional. Lesser breakfast variety. Room is ok but there is a smell which I guess it came from the carpet. It is still consider fine for the amount paid. However, I will not choose this hotel again.
My 3rd times staying this hotel. Love their super convenient location for shopping which located in Pratunam market. You may start crazy shopping since 7am at morning market and bring back the clothes to hotel directly, and then enjoy their daily change menu free flow breakfast. Staff is friendly and even the cleaner will said good morning when meet you at staircase. There are 7-11 opposite the hotel, McDonalds just 3 mins walking distance. Platinum fashion mall by 5mins walking distance. Slightly crowded when morning time due wholesales market at ground floor. Definitely will back again for my next travel to Bangkok.
We had a good & satisfied 4Nights stays with my family of 5. All services went promptly & well including frontdesk, room service, housekeeping and breakfast. The rooms were very spacious eventhough we spread all our things & shopping bags everywhere. The thing missing was suitable coffee table for boiling water. There was no lighting or plug where the kettle & beverages were kept (ie. above the fridge) & we shifted & used the small narrow bedside table(good for a kettle & 2 cups) & used whatever space available. Dangerous for children to stand near it. The dressing table was too short as we have our personnal items to put. The toilet did not have any hooks(can't hang dry clothes, must put ontop of toilet seats) & no soap tray provided (soap slipped several times & dropped behind the sink). The lights in the room & entrance door were insufficient & poor. Lastly, the aircon compressor was just outside window produced very loud noise.
True to its pictures, the interior is modern looking and spacious. I like the big toilet space, and its wide shower area. They offer you a welcome drink on the day of check in. And there is also a weighing scale at the lobby, which was very helpful to us since I only had limited check-in allowance. My hair dryer was faulty on the first night, so I called the reception, and they had a technician came to my room immediately to have it fix. I would say the hotel service is really good. On the last day, the bellman offered to help me with my heavy luggage when I was weighing it. The location of the hotel is really good, surrounded by the popular soi wanton, mc donalds, Pratunam night market and Platinum mall. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, and you have all the wholesale shops just directly below (it's called four seasons mall). They are open early morning, and closed at night. So in the morning, if you have luggage to push, it takes patience to navigate into the hotel lift area. The hotel is not as difficult to locate, if you just look out for the diagonal looking exterior. I didn't find it scary to go home at night, because though the wholesale shops are closed, there are still people and shops nearby open at night. Though it takes quite a distance to walk to the nearest BTS and MRT, the price for this is hotel is quite affordable for its unique location.
