Our recent stay in Nov 2017 was pleasant. Was worry about the condition of the room but it was good, room was spacious for 2 twins beds, air con was okay, just a bit noisy so i slept with ear plugs every night. My room was just next to the staircase / lift but it was not noisy at all. Most of the guests are from Singapore anyway. But the TV programs were boring, so bring along your own entertainment. If you are taking the ARL from the airport, alight at the 7th station (can't recall the name, but is after Makkasan station) and walk about 10-15 mins. Hotel is located in Soi 19, walking distance to the overhead bridge to Platinum Fashion Mall. Morning/afternoon was crowded, full of people shopping and eating. It is near to the HK wanton mee which is 300m away (not the Soi 19 Wanton mee) and taste not bad. There is also a shop selling pig trotter. You can give both stalls a try. There are also some massage shops around where u can go and relieve your tired body :) Definitely will stay there again for my next trip.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel from Oct 31 to Nov 4 and I must say that our stay was a very pleasant one. I knew beforehand that this place wasn't a five star hotel. Three star if I'm not mistaken. But everything in this hotel exceeded my expectations. First of all, the hotel seemed to be newly renovated. A clean and spacious room included a queen sized bed, a sofa and one chair without a back rest. Enough space to put two luggages in a room without making it too crowded. The ACU was cold enough although it shut down by itself automatically at times. The bathroom was a bit small but still comfortable to use. The water heater worked perfectly. Just make sure to bring your own slippers and tooth brush because these will not be provided by the hotel. As for the hotel staff, everyone was helpful, friendly and courteous most especially the Thai bell boy and several Filipina receptionists. All of them patiently answered all of our inquiries. In fact they went out of their way to assist us in our daily itinerary. The hotel even offered a very efficient airport transfer for arrival and departure. Could not have asked for a better breakfast buffet. They offered rice, meat, vegetables, salad, fruits, cereals, fruit juices, tea and an omelette station. They even changed the menu everyday for several days. Simply perfect to load up for a whole day's worth of walking. Nothing beats the location of this hotel as the hotel is literally on top of an air-conditioned shopping center. Purchased items from the stores could easily be transported back to the hotel room. The only drawback is that the street leading to the hotel is narrow two way street with cars almost grazing each other with people walking on both sides of the street. Also you'd have to squeeze your way into the entrance of the hotel. Just outside of the hotel were numerous shops selling cheap goods lined up along a bit of a narrow street. Once you get to the main road, famous shopping centers such as Platinum Mall and several others whose names I forgot were just a stone's throw away. Several restaurants, convenience store and a drug store were all within a few minutes away from the hotel. So was the taxi station. With its great value for money, this hotel is highly recommended for people who want to shop at bangkok's Pratunam area.
Thanks to the review by others, I chose this as my stay 3 nights in Bangkok. Note: The hotel lobby is on 2nd floor. Take a floor up by lift or staircase. Location: If you're shopaholic, this is the right place that you ever want. Why? Because that street is connected to the market nearby. Platinum mall is just opposite the main street. Service: I would rate them 4.5 stars. Why? Minimal communication issue, simple english communication worked well. I requested one connecting room during my check in, and they tried their best to work it out for me. Lucky me! Next thing is, if you forgot to bring your converter, call them up to borrow but make sure you return them. Cleanliness: Do not expect as perfect as 5 stars hotel room and facility. One cons here: I noticed the room is a bit damp. However, you can just open the window during day time to reduce it. Amenities: They don't provide toothbrush and comb, not sure if they have shower cap because I didn't notice that. Breakfast: Normal breakfast, just nice for me as I'm not big eater in the morning. Rather head out to hunt other food. Oh ya, remember to order their omelette because it was so good. Fare: Uber from Don Mueang Airport to hotel: 300 baht (without toll) Grab from hotel to Don Mueang: < 400 baht (with toll)
The family stayed here for 3 nights. This is located at the pratunam area and walking distance to shopping malls, night market and street food. Good buffet breakfast and they see to it that 2 - 3 menu dishes are different everyday. Most important of all, the staff very friendly and accommodating because majority of them are Filipinos! You can also request packed bf if you will leave before 6:30am.
I love this hotel. 2nd time in Bangkok and in both instances, I stayed in this hotel. Location is perfect. Walking distance to several malls and restaurants. There is mc donalds and 7/11 nearby which makes it more convenient The hotel's lobby is in 2nd floor. Right beneath the hotel is four seasons mall selling ready-to-wear stuff. The hotel also owns a chinese restaurant which is just about 30 meters from the hotel. Breakfast is very good. Some food are constant, while they change 2 to 3 viands daily which is very rare in most hotels. Love their soup. Best part is most employees are Filipinos. Even the operations manager is Filipino. Friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Highly recommended
Excellent location as it is right at the heart of famous shopping areas in BKK. Pratunum market is right outside and Platinum Mall is walkable distance (5-10 minutes). Lots of shophouses along the street. Room was not too spacious for 3. Lobby has a weighing scale to weigh your luggage. Building is slightly rundown but for the convenience of the location is worth it.
Located within the heart of Bangkok. The street where it's at is located across Platinum Mall. The room is clean and really nice. It takes 1min or less to walk from Hotel to the Main highway. There's a 7-eleven & McDonalds a few feet away. Pros: -Located in a shopping district -So many food places around Cons: -The first floor is a shopping center. (Lobby is on the second) People shop all day everyday! It can get hard to pass through going out the hotel in the morning. Place is PACKED! Funny how at night it's soooo quiet! It's like an abandoned area. But the street is quite safe. -Street quite small. If you book Uber or GrabCar they get lost sometimes.
The hotel located at a prime location with a reasonable price. Technically speaking it is just located right opposite Platinum Fashion Mall however it took us awhile to discover it as the hotel is a bit shy (lobby located at 2nd floor). Morning & Night has two totally different street views, you will know when you check it out. Some uplifting works shall be done to maintain the quality. Eg: the sliding door at bathroom really trained my muscle during my stay. Generally speaking I will still recommend this place to friends.
We're a family of 10. It's nice that their direct website offers a cheap rate than booking through a 3rd party website. It's just a little worrysome that their web wont offer an option to pull up your reservation via the confirmation number provided. And when you try to reach out to them via email, it would take days for them to reply. And the staff appeared to misunderstood what I needed to convey via that email. Found a couple of Filipino staff, which was truly helpful especially during check in. Check out, we were only given 8 packed breakfast, instead of 10, which was probably an honest mistake on their part. Location is superb. you can go out the hotel for a quick browsing of clothes. Or walk 5 minutes to Platinum Mall. Love LOVE the selection of breakfast. Each breakfast became our family bonding moment. All of the staff were nice, especially the young guy I always come across the lift and the women in the cafeteria. They were all courteous and kind. Our whole family enjoyed the stay. My dad didnt like the Thai massage. T'was too rough for him. Will definitely consider this hotel on our next visit.
This is the 6th time booking at the hotel. Prime location and good rates. Room was cleaned well by the housekeeping, big rooms and great service. Needs maintenance in the room though. In the middle of Pratunam Market, lots of food nearby and Platinum Mall directly opposite.
