probably the best value hotel i have visited in Bangkok. very comfortable beds, quiet with zero road noise. clean and modernising new preferred place to stay... very friendly staff. close to nana plaza

I lived in Bangkok for two years, so choosing a hotel in the city was a daunting task There are so many, all over the large city. I'm so glad I chose Hotel Solo. The place is perfectly located near Ploen Chit BTS station, and the sky train goes practically everywhere now. The hotel itself is very well designed the rooms are comfortable, especially for the price. A big surprise was how good the food is; I never get breakfast in hotels as it is usually overpriced and not good. At this hotel the breakfast was very good, and good value. I particularly liked the salad bar, and my son loved the waffles. Lunch/Dinner were also excellent (better than in a five-star hotel I've stayed at). What stands out the most at the hotel is the service; every single employee goes out of their way to help and ensure you have a good stay. However, I have to mention Khun Game, who spent a lot of time helping me figure out the train schedules to Hua Hin, and when I decided to take a car, she booked one (the driver turned out to be a woman, and excellent). Khun Game is never without a smile or helping attitude. Khun Eff also went way above and beyond with my son and me. He was always there to help me coordinate or arrange something, and even called Citibank on a holiday and managed to get a person when I was out trying to find an open ATM. I can't say enough good about Khun Eff, who clearly enjoys his job and helping people have the best visit possible. My only criticism of the hotel is with maintenance. Our hot water worked intermittently, and although someone came to fix it as soon as we called, it was still annoying. Also, and this is a personal pet peeve, the only way to have reading lamps on in bed is to also have on bright overhead lights, so I couldn't read if my son was asleep. It would be nice to be able to have just a reading light. Regardless, I would highly recommend this hotel. We used it as a base, traveling in and out of Bangkok, and it became like a second home. I will definitely stay here during my next trip back to Asia.

they have nice girl and good girl work in bar shis name Reya shis good girl and she now how to make serves with customer thank u reya and i hope when i come againe see u all so the food viry nice and i like place noz calm place and clean i advice toooo viset this hotel

Small hotel with personalized service. Employees like Jiratchaya Sapna do a great job ensuring you have the best quality service. Will go back! Very well located at walking distance to two BTS stations and close to the best malls in Bangkok.

Nice, clean and modern room. I stayed here for five days on a business trip and it was a great place to stay, conveniently located close to public transport as well. WiFi connection was a bit tricky sometimes. Good breakfast and friendly staff, nice rooftop swimming pool.

Good location; rooms very spacious clean. Wifi a little slow in room. Good rooftop bar and pool. Staff are very helpful and curtious. Restraunt supervisor Jiratchaya Sapna overlooks a good breakfast buffet and menu foods. I my stay hotel solo2 a 4/5

I felt at home during staying the Solo hotel. The hotel provide shuttle tuktuk to Pleonchit Center. So easy to get to the BTS from there. The staffs are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. If I go to Bangkok, definetly I want to stay Solo hotel again.

Great pool with a lovely view and a nice rooftop bar which stayed open until reasonably late. It was quite empty to we had it all to ourselves most of the time. Just off the main streets so not far to walk, they offered free Tuk Tuk services to the Main Street so that was helpful. The choice of food for breakfast was very limited. Free wifi throughout the building. Friendly staff, although they didn't really speak English so their was a huge barrier in communication. They did not offer a lot of tours and excursions like any other hotels so look around for other places to book as you can also find cheaper prices. Rooms were air conditioned until you step out of your room to wait for an elevator where it was boiling hot! But good for the amount you pay.

I've been to this hotel several times. We absolutely love our room every time. Everything from its amenities to the cleanliness and decor. Although a little way off the main road, there is a complimentary shuttle service to the Sukhumvit road so you don't have to walk. Its a 5 or 6 minute walk otherwise. The roof terrace and pool are one of the best I've been to and enjoyed. Its not up in the clouds either as there are only about 7 or 8 floors to the hotel so you are at a nice level. There is a bar which opens at peak times so you can relax with a drink poolside. We were on the 3rd floor. In your room you will find everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities (my favourite). The quality of the toiletries is always can even watch the tv from the shower if you wish! or make it private of course. Breakfast is the usual choices. The reception staff are great. We had to have a letter translated into Thai language and they obliged for free. The Thai are respectful people who hate confrontation and will never be rude to you for no reason, so if you are nice and smiley to them, they will be to you. Tourism is their largest industry. Back to the hotel - there is also a safe and free wife in your room. Reception will help you with ANYTHING you need. Taxis sit outside the hotel to take you anywhere. Always barter with Tuk Tuk drivers but taxis with meters you don't need to haggle with. We found this hotel a little gem and return year after year.

Solo hotel is a little far in soi 2 but it's worthwhile to stay. Hotel is very modern very clean pleasant staff. There is a small clean pool on rooftop . Very pleasant for family to stay. Breakfast is good with outside sitting very enjoyable and staff Reya providing good services. Rate us very competitive helping your stay value for money.
