I'm still at this property when writing this review. I love my stay. The service is good, non pretentious. That is why I constantly choose this brand for a few years already in Japan, Saigon and now here in Bangkok. I shifted from the Marriott chain which was disappointing in a number of occasions and recently at a dinner in Marquis Queen's Park. As for Nikko here, everything is to my expectation living up to the japanese's standard and hospitality. Location is good and only 3 mins walk to BTS. Keep up the good work.
We stayed here because of their brand name and the good reviews in web However we a unhappy on the first day due to air conditioning. The room was very hot n can’t change room temperature. So we call room service on this issue The staffs suggested us to move room .So we were lead to another room on the upper floors .But we found that this room area was smaller than the first room Of course we talked to room service again .But the staff told us the room type was same but with different layout 😂😂😂.
Excellent staff!! Good take care from everyone. Food and coffee tasty 👍🏻 Especially thanks Khun Mew always look after me when I need something more. Lobby area very clean and feel comfortable. Will come back again next month.
Just 2 minutes walk to Thong Lor BTS station, new hotel opened this Feb, staff are helpful, friendly with smiling face, buffet breakfast with lots of choice, must try the high tea set at Lobby Curve 55 if more Air Con will be be perfect, house keeping was not so professional, they never check the shampoo or body wash are enough for 2 person staying in one room need to call and refill. Swimming pool are good, Spa are located on 2/Floor my wife love it. Definite will stay again.
Location of the hotel is pecfect, just 2 mins walk from Thonglor BTS station.Staff are very much helpful, friendly and alway keep smiling. Room is spacious as I booked superior twin room.Breakfast is rich, japanese, western style, love to have the fresh juice station and noodle station However, as I stayed 4 days, one time toilet stuck and shower is not strong enough!!
Everything about Nikko hotel Bangkok is really new!! Rooms are clean and spacious with Panpuri toiletries!! 5min walk to Thonglor BTS is super convenient and along the way to BTS, we get to buy our favourite Mango sticky rice.. Bonus points!! Staff are polite and helpful. From helping us with directions to helping us get taxi and recommending us to good massage places and seafood restaurants. It was a pleasant stay.
Stayed 3 nights with my family in two rooms. Friendly staff and nice buffet breakfast with variety of food, fresh fruit juice bar and made to order egg counter. For the room, tidy with basic facilities you can expected. What surprised me are the amenity products including toothbrush, shower cap, each products wrapped in individual pack and there is even one pack for the sanitary bag! How environmental unfriendly to use a bag to warp another plastic bag! But there is no cotton buds which I think it is a more essential one than the sanitary bag. For the swimming pool on 6/F, I suggest the hotel to add some basic facilities: 1) clock - you can never know the time when swimming 2) water tank - why don’t add another nice lemon water jar same as in lobby for swimmers? 3) towel hook / clothes rack in changing room - no place to put my stuff in the shower area after Sauna or bath! I stayed in Nikko brand hotel in other countries which I can see room for improvement for this lovely hotel.
A very new hotel opened only in Feb 2019. Some of the shops and restaurants in the hotel are due to open soon..... including the hotel Spa which is a little disappointing. However the hotel is up to the Nikko standard, quiet, v clean, comfy bed and with quality Toto all round in the bathroom (semi attached bath) and separate toilet with washlet. Service is good and helpful. Local area not as plush as those closer to Central and no decent local shopping possible. However only 5 min walk to sky train and Central is just a few stops away. Stayed on high floor with large windows but not much view in sight. Overall good product and excellent value but in an average location. Having said that...Merriott is just a few min walk away....
Hotel Nikko Bangkok (Soi Sukumvit 55) Thong Lo vicinity Accessibility: 4/5 Slightly away from the centre of tourist attraction But an easy 7mins walk to Thong Lo BTS. Reception: 5/5 - Attentive Japanese style approach with half-body saluting gestures. - Brings hotel guests to rooms upon checking in. - Mr Ton 'from the concierge' was helpful and offered an umbrella to us as he noticed that it may rain. Room Amenities 4.5/5 - Modern, comfortable and sleek - Sufficient, adjustable master light setting - USB ports easily available - Room has automated retractable divider from bedroom, contrary to some review that there wasn't. - Non-slippery shower room flooring - spacious shower and bath tub area - separated toilet with sink Similar to many modern Japan-styled hotel in Japan, - Shower room could do with a few more hooks. Eg. Able to hook up wet swim wears - Hotel should use real Colgate instead of 'Colgate- imitation' bubble gum toothpaste. - Body care can be improved. Bathroom set of Panpuri, lacks a real sense of aroma-feel. Hotel Amenities Swimming Pool - didnt use but looks good. Dining (Breakfast) -Sumptuous spread, enjoyable. A short linkway (from the direction where hotel guests walks from Thong Lor BTS) to the side entrance of the hotel is strongly recommended to be built. Overall, a very welcomimg stay.
We just had a three nights stay there , room facilities are very impressive, spacious room and thoughtful bathroom design. However, staff are not well trained and English level are just so-so despite their politeness. We didn’t take the buffet breakfast but ordered two American breakfast at the Oasis. Perhaps they seldom serve a la carte order, they forgot to send us the bakery basket and the fruit platter that included in the menu, and it took quite a while for them to figure out what an American breakfast served with. One last thing, as a member of the one harmony club I don’t see any special benefits on the room rate they offered, it is about 10% higher than other agents.
