We stayed at Hotel de Bangkok from 31 October to 7 November 2017 and we were 12 persons from Mauritius. Hotel is well situated in a narrow street, rooms are very clean and cosy, full of charm. The staff is also very nice, smart and welcoming. Always smiling and respectful like every Thai people
We like Hotel de Bangkok very much .The staffs are very pleasant and always very helpful thats what we wanted. The rooms are very clean facilities are good.Hotel location are good and very convience to go anywhere. We recommand to all visitors to Bangkok. This hotel are given 4 star rating.
I always choose this hotel while I visit BKK. The reasons are as follow; close to an airport rail link and bus stop, fast check-in and check-out, clean room, quiet at night, friendly staffs, free strong wifi, variety of foods for breakfast and not far from Pratunam the shopping area.
Arrived after check in was informed no cover on bed, told just sit over there. No apology, I wasn't happy as been traveling since 4am Asked to go to room to put bags, and shower was told no. 10mins later reception said can have room, just as I'm about to be handed key another guest came complaining, they had waiting from 6am for room. Receptionist handed room key to other guest, said they were waiting longer!! Told by pointing sit there After 1.5hrs after having a few beers we went for room key. I had calmed down by this point and said sorry for my anger. Then to our surprise they had given us a twin room not double and we were on our wedding to be married in Bangkok Not happy, we didn't complain as just knew no point Apart from that the hotel very clean, biggest breakfast good and food from restaurant very good and good price
The hotel is located right next to the Airport Link which gives access to both the SRT& MRT, if you can plan properly you can easily avoid the dreaded Bangkok traffic. The rooms were spacious and the buffet breakfast was top notch.
We were disappointed in this hotel. The staff was pleasant. The location and price are a good but you get what you pay for. I am a frequent business traveler as well as periodic vacationer. For this review I am considering the Hampton Inn as a base hotel that is acceptable to me. Hotel de Bangkok falls short. The rooms are in need of renovation which is not apparent in the on-line photos. The noise level from traffic is very loud all night long so we slept with ear plugs every our entire stay. After the first night we changed rooms because there was a connecting door in our first room and we could hear the guests talking in the next room including their crying baby in the middle of the night. The A/C has two temperatures: warm and freezing. Room safes are not anchored so unusable. Further we saw two young boys carrying a safe from the 3rd to the 4th floor via the elevator.
As overall was good, the room are perfect for couples or small kids. May need more signages as not all tutu drivers are aware of the hotel. The breakfast could be better to cater to fit into local taste.
A simple budget hotel with all required facilities right in the city area. The hotel is well maintained, and one can easily enjoy his stay if he/she is for a business trip or a day or 2. We had booked for 2 days and these guys helped us in every possible thing. The food quality is good and also the management gives everything best possible. Recommend strongly, for families as well.
I stayed at this hotel for 3-nights and hotel was need to maintenance, reception was OK and platinum mall not so far from it (around 10mins). Breakfast menu was same on everyday and overall, hotel was ok for budget traveller.
My husband and I booked an Urban room just to rest before our flight out of Bangkok. We were greeted by friendly staff and pleasant exterior building but the room was not up to my expectations. Friends have recommended this hotel to us but the room was gloomy and had a weird smell. Thankfully our stay was only a few hours long. I was glad I wasn't staying there for the night. The only perk is that it's about a 3-5min walk to Ratchaprarop Station (that is along the Airport Rail Link).
