We spent 4 days here. It was the worth stay ever in Thailand. The lobby is amazingly beautiful. The room is ok. The bathroom condition is terrible. It has to be renovated. We did not even eat every day breakfast because it was not delicious. And the staff at the reception was quiet rude. Not helpful, not even a smile nothing. I expect more from the service. The only kind person was the doorman.
I spent a few days at the Hopeland while in town. It is located away from the lower Sukhumvit tourist mess. Yet, it's just a short BTS ride away. The hotel is clean and pretty nice. My room was big and had a full kitchen. Not much of a view from the patio, but it is in an urban area. There's a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff was kind and helpful at all times. I will stay again when in Bangkok.
I stayed here twice within a 10 day period a couple of days both times Reception and service staff very average at best An older hotel that needs refurbishing There are better options near by as I investigated
We slept there for 2 nights, booked on Agoda (really good price, around 37€ p. room p. night). The hotel is located just in front of the W district and close to the BTS station. All the staff is nice and polite, the rooms are clean and new. The pool is really nice but about 1m high. If you can find a good price I highly recommend to sleep there!
Nice hotel in Bangkok with latest technology. Reception staffs are customer friendly. Rooms are of good size. Breakfast served is not veg friendly Hotel is situated at the busiest road of the city. Traffic jam is the major problem near the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
Hotel, not great but not bad either, room was fine but the hotel is vast and all over the place and seemed like it was empty most of the time, i hardly saw any one around when trying to navigate the strange layout. Breakfast was average but ok, couple of small niggles, no shelf in the shower to put toiletries, coffee in room but no tea and no tissues so had to use toilet roll and wifi is a bit iffy small concerns but this is not low a budget hotel. Pool ok , gym ok and location good near phrae khanong bts.
This hotel isn’t a bad place to be located when visiting Bangkok. The BTS is a short ride away and there’s the fabulous W Market just across the street as well as the Cielo Sky Bar. The room was really comfortable and featured a balcony (albeit with no balcony furniture). The room had a washing machine which came in handy. The pool is enclosed in the centre of the building but was nice to relax by. The hotel also has sauna, steam and spa which was great to unwind in. The staff on reception were fantastic so they deserve a mention. Breakfast in this hotel was a delight. Who would have thought Chinese food such as fried rice would work as a breakfast item but it did. The hotel was also very well priced. You get a lot for your money. If I go back to Bangkok, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Booking this hotel for my last two days in Thailand ended up to ba a mistake; on the day I was due to take my flight (out of Thailand) I was waken up by a strong smell of cooked food at exactly 5am. What a pity! Smell probably travelled through the central air-conditioning piping system (by the way A/C in my room has not worked strongly enough to cool the room to the desired temperature). This was the most serious predicament during my stay. The overall atmosphere is not joyful and the two female attendants at the reception only make this case even stronger. The male attendant is far more jolly and approachable. My check-in was delayed until 3:15pm ( a whopping hour and 15 minutes delay) and when I asked that my check out time be delayed by same time duration the response was cold "No, probably only a delay of 30 minutes"! Go figure and this is given the fact that hotel seemed less than half full, and also given that I showed proof that my flight is in the evening. Suites are clean, come with a "full kitchen" but the downside of this is that guests can cook (and smell can travel). I did not need a kitchen! Swimming pool only appears nice in photos. It is actually too shallow and no one was using it during my stay, I did. Location is away from the city bt closest skytrain station is only about 150 meters away. Given my room location, right by the modem, WIFI has worked superb! All in all, I do not think I will be booking this hotel again (but this review has probably been "too influenced" by the "strong smell").
Room was good size for me, but room look empty and no minibar as the location not much supermart around. Room cleanliness need more in details as found hairs in the bath room. I would like to suggest management look in the bath and shower room flooring it too slippy. I almost slipped fall after shower.
The hotel is conveniently close to the BTR. The room was nice and big with a great bathroom ....both bathtub and shower. It was very clean but the whole place really does show it's age. Which is a shame as it wouldn't take that much to keep it nice. There were lots of choices at the breakfast buffet and it changed daily.
