The location of this hotel is perfect. It adjoins the Intercontinental Hotel, the skytrain, Starbucks, 24 hr McDonald’s, shopping centers all opposite. It’s very clean and the staff are friendly, happy and extremely helpful. We traveled with two teenagers and had adjoining rooms on request. The bar downstairs is very handy although the food wasn’t anything to shout about. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel has a great location that is 30 meters from a sky train station and places to shop, eat, and see all around. The rooms are just above average and need renovating and redecorating to lift the level of the hotel. There is a breakfast area on the below ground level and a brew pub there now as well. The hotel stays booked to capacity because of its location, so look and book early.
It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Think the entire hotel has gone through renovation. Room looks fresh and tidy. Nice bathroom with shower. Room is of good size. Great location. Right next to Intercontinental. And the mega shopping mall Central World is just 3 minutes' walk away. Sky train station right in front of the hotel. And there is a walkway for going to Siam Station. It's just about 10 minutes' walk and then there are more shopping centres around that area. Didn't choose to include breakfast in my room rate. Plenty of choices nearby. Didn't have time to try its beer bar. Looks nice. Will come back.
Recently stayed at this property and my only complaint is that the bed was too firm for my liking. The bathroom was clean and you have to appreciate a walk in shower in a hotel. The area is very good, nice and close to Chit Lom BTS and you can get anywhere from there. We only ate at the restaurant Beer Republic, which was good value for money and the food was quite tasty. I would stay here again because it is close to the location for work.
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a month which we enjoyed very much. The staff were professional, helpful and live up to being a hotelier in the hospitality industry. It truly reflects the great effort, quality and spirit of the management and its team of this hotel that worth complimenting:- From front office, Khun Siriluck, Khun Juthamas, Khun Tony, Khun Vipavadee, and others who were constantly attentive and follow through our needs promptly, be it before we checked into the hotel or throughout our stay. From Ginger Restaurant that we had our daily breakfast namely Khun Seksan, Khun Nuttxxxxporn (apologies for not registering the full exact spelling of her name) and the other morning service crews who had been consistently cheerful, enthusiastic, attentively serving our F&B and clearing our empty crockeries. Also worth highlighting the business centre department staff who had assisted in documents scanning and advised on directions in getting around places, to the housekeeping crews that cleaned our rooms and replenished our amenities daily, the laundry department staff who have regularly collected and promptly returned our laundry, the IT department that assisted us to troubleshoot and checked on the speed of the internet, the engineering department that assisted in replacing the lock of the room due to battery faulty and fixing the air conditioning temperature of the room to ensure it is constantly cold especially throughout the night during our sleep, the recreational department (gym & poo) staff that greeted and provided us towels regularly, last but not the least the doormen and porters who greeted us, opened the door at the lobby regularly and brought our luggage up to the room. We are extremely grateful and appreciate the services extended to us throughout our stay and we hope the team will continue to keep up the good effort consistently. The only place I stay when I am in Bangkok. What keep me coming back is the Team leader Ms Juthamas. I have known her for close to 10years now since my first visit there where she was a staff to now where is presently the Manager. What impress me most, is the professionalism by her and now with her leadership by a dedicated team of motivated personnel. Keep up the good work! As I always believe, no matter how beautiful a Hotel or establishment. Without the right people which form the heart of the establishment. The establishment will just be concrete and material. Thank you for always making my stay memorable. 😀👏👍
We have stayed here many times; and like the welcome and the location so returned again this month. Only the North Tower was being used; and it has been beautifully refurbished. The breakfast room is no longer downstairs - this is now a trendy Beer Republic bar; and the breakfast room has moved to where Charm Thai used to be. The only small downside this time was that the South Tower was still being refurbished and whilst we were there the outside was being painted so the fumes were a little overwhelming whilst sitting at the pool - but small price to pay for a beautifully refurbed hotel.
We stayed here 10 years ago so decided to stay here again We do not regret this decision The standard of the service and the helpfulness of the staff is fantastic The hotel is and has undergone renovation but everything from the rooms to the pool area is very good The location by chit Lom sky train station makes it so easy to get around the city We will be back
I read that the hotel just underwent a refurbished and decided to stay. The location is fantastic, located just infront of Chit Lom BTS and is accessible to most places by foot. It is also an easy location to take Uber as well. The rooms are very clean, in fact, according to my travelling mate, the cleanest hotel she has ever been to. The bedsheets are clean and just made us want to rest in for the day. The hospitality of the staff from the door to reception is impeccable. They were genuinely helpful and the best part is, they are able to understand basic English which helps a lot especially when we have certain request. If there is one thing to be slightly dissatisfied, that will be the housekeeping aspect. They are not very meticulous in terms of replacing the bathroom amenities and bedsheets. We were quite worried if they will just fold the towels back to the rack instead of replacing new ones. But we reckoned they did change :) We are very satisfied during the entire stay. Definitley a choice when heading back to bangkok again!
This is my 2nd visit to this hotel. During check-in, we were warmly greeted as an IHG member. The check-in process was swift and our request was taken into consideration carefully. Do fill up the request column whenever you are doing the booking for them to make pre-arrival arrangement instead of telling them off-hand during check-in. Jan is our wedding anniversary month but I did not mention it in my recent booking. We were touched when we saw the greetings in our room. Thanks for remembering. It seems like a small gesture from them but it takes a big heart (and system) to remember that. We greatly appreciated that. The rooms are mostly refurbished. Very new and clean because they have even changed the carpet. The lighting is brighter now. Shower as usual is strong and hot. Not much changes to the bathroom but that's good enough they have changed the blinds. They now have more staffs (apart from the bell boy) that greet the guests in the foyer. There's ample seating area in the lobby too which makes it more convenient for us to meet up friends. I feel like at home I keep coming back to the hotel instead of shopping around because it's so comfortable. Even come back for toilet break if I am nearby. Ok, that's how strategic the location is. Will be back next Jan or Feb. Hopefully they don't rise their price after the refurbishment has completed.
