I had checked on 20 Septembe. Reached to reception desk ( K. Jan warmest greeting and smile ). She did checked in us whilst i was informed to requested smoking room as well as twin bed. Because i had booked with reservation forgotten to informed that we were smoking then she nor found in system also apologize us then immediately informed us to moved smoking floor on next day we were satisfication. Room: We reached into room founded king bed R. 2724 during we stay twin bed not available then ( K. Jan F/O) she had offered us to set Rollaway bed 5 minute later ( K.Mooham Room attendant ) brought rollaway bed to our room and ranging door bell as well as greeting with thai wai and warmest smile but i rejected to put rollaway bed because room size to small i need only Duvet and pillow it enough. In the night time we came back to our room we found welcome cake it on desk near our bed side. We asked staff whom sent a cake for us. We're special & Big thanks (K.Lek Nipon) to good take care and pay attention us during stay at @ Holliday Inn Sukhumwit. Overall in room cleanliness was clean and tidy, the staff very friendly. The next day we moved to smoking room in difference floor as per we had requested we were very happily R.1525. We went out to the nightlife. After come back in room air temperature very cool also nor a bottle water drinking i did called to operator only 1 time rang to received an answer we were requested one more duvet and 2 bottle of water 5 minute later room attendant a night shift came to rang in our room as well as warmest greeing and wai come with accessories as we requested ( we forgot his mane ) nice guy. Overall: I would like to thanks very much the hotel staff good take care and pay attention during our stay at your hotel especially ( K.Jan front office ) ( K. Lek Nipon housekeeping ) (K.Mooham & a guy night shift from room attendent to fastly services during our stay ) i hope that we see you again next year.
We had booked our car from the hotel itself to avoid hassle at check in, so the limo rep was actually there unfortunately not the car and we waited for another 15mins. It was just frustrating as i was with my 20 months old boy. The lobby or reception is located on the 9th floor and was greeted warmly by the concierge team. As being IHG member, we was not serve with any welcome drink or benefits offered to us. Room was in decent space with nice exterior but just take note that bathroom are with bathtub. The TV channels selection are good if u decide to lazy around the room. We had our lunch thru room dining and the price is reasonable as they provide family combo with great selection of beverage. We also tried the Indian Restaurant Maya & some drinks which is located on the 29th floor. Had a great experience with the food and ambiance. U must try the briyani and love it. Had b'fast for 3 morning and was great, they really treated by boy with the Thai hospitality and even showed me the kids corner there. Upon check out, we was given late check out gladly by the Japanese lady ( cant remember her name ). Upon the final billing we would like to pay some of it separately and the reception was so patience and understood our request with any complaints. Thanks to her, we stayed 2712 & 2716 Keep up the great job and we will back soon next year 2017 p/s : I have left my power bank pineng with purple cable, please kept it for me. It has sensitive value for me.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a weekend just before returning to the USA. The hotel is located in the Sukhumvit area. It is a 10 minutes walk to a Terminal 21, an upscale mall in the heart of Sukhumvit. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor and features a variety of breakfast foods as well as lunch and dinner. Definitely book breakfast with your stay because the buffet is expensive. The food is good and fresh. The pool is accessible through the restaurant, so if you want a private swim, be sure to go during off hours. Otherwise everyone in the restaurant will be watching you. The fitness center is located also on the 8th floor at the far end of the restaurant. Equipment is old but in working condition. There are two treadmills, an elliptical, and a variety of weights. Even though I have been an ambassador member for 10+ years and now a spire member with the IHG credit card, the club level is off limits. The IHG program is very good until this point. I still would have to pay to enter the club level no matter which hotel we stay in. We found the staff to be strict and curt at check in and checkout, which is not the norm in the IHG hotels. I would not stay here again but choose another IHG hotel in Bangkok.
Charles Godot GM I did not get any sleep at all in the two nights at your hotel due to the hard mattress. So I hope you will do the decent thing & refund me the two night stay to my credit card.Don't you have some Hospitality Promise. I did not want to make a fuss at my departure as I knew your duty manager would not have the authority to not to charge for me stay. And you where in a meeting. I did want to meet you anyway as I I would have lost my temper with you as you caused me a great deal of stress & inconvenience. I must say I thought you very short sighted in not trying to do more to get a memory foam topper. Frederic Brohez GM Baruna Bali spent over $1500 on three toppers & I only needed two. He most likely did not make anything on our stay there but recognised my loyalty to IHG & we have already plans to return many time so a good investment for him. I would have stayed till at least the first week in October & then returned again in the middle of November for a month & then used your hotel as my base in Bangkok.So a very poor decision on your part. All the other IHG properties I have stayed in have always got me a soft topper & recognised my loyalty to IHG. I could not believe that you left three pieces of fruit in my suite as a welcome.All the IHG properties give me champagne/wine a whole fruit basket & chocolates. You have no right to be in the hospitality industry & are disgrace to IHG. I expect my refund by return.
I like hotel meeting venue as well as food options. They provide clean good rooms for meeting and training starting from small rooms for 10 to Big hall. The buffet lunch is good and also coffee options. Good to go!!
This is my first time to Bangkok and we stayed here at the Holiday inn. I cannot fault the hotel or the staff they were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially the staff in the Executive lounge I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the near future.
I have stayed at this hotel many times since it opened on business. My last trip was with my wife who was visiting Thailand for the first time. We both really enjoyed the experience and the hotel staff, especially the Executive Lounge team were so helpful and really made my wife feel "at home". A special thanks must go to Khun Joobjang from the Lounge whose knowledge of Bangkok and Thailand really helped us to explore the city.
Nice newly built hotel. Spacious rooms and nice break fast. Hotel is situated right on Sukumvit near to major shopping and entertainment areas and is close to Metro station. Given the low prices, this was definitely a value for money stay.
Not a bad hotel. But missing usual Holiday Inn hospitality. Good location though and clean rooms. Good breakfast and mostly (not all staffs) good people. Reception staffs were knowledgeable but was late in checking in. Check-out wasn't too bad. May stay here again if I am around that area.
I have tried lots of hotels in the last 30 years but find myself coming back here, and will be back again in October. There are bigger fancier hotels but none as genuinely warm and welcoming as here. After a few weeks in Europe we are extending our stopover for the central location, friendly staff and genuine home cooked Thai dinners each night. The staff go out of their way to make us feel at home so much we will be flying up more family from Australia to join us all for a few days before we continue on. I can't wait to get back it's a sea of peace and calm in the city I love so much. See you in October
