We recently had the pleasure of staying in this very nice hotel. The level of service was excellent, the staff very warm and helpful and offering good advice when needed. We had a room on one of the executive levels and found it quite large and very well appointed. It had a refreshingly large bathroom which included a 'rain-shower' facility and a stand-alone bath for those that liked to relax in such. Plenty of room for toiletries etc. The bed was large and comfortable and all lights etc worked. There were sufficient electrical sockets for our needs and a nice, large writing desk and a corner with a small settee and easy chair. The location was not too far from Siam Sq, and within a 10-15 min stroll from the local MRT station. The Executive Lounge offered a very fair range of breakfast items, both local and Western, and also in the afternoon/evening sessions. adjoining the hotel is a shopping mall with numerous restaurant and cafes and a supermarket as well as some designer label shops. Overall a pleasant stay.
When you book on a flash sale, be extremely careful about the price, as the hotel will dramatically increase the price. It ends up you will be paying much more than the normal price. Check-in staff wants to put me in to a smoking room where I specifically indicated non-smoking room is preferred. I had to insist it to have a non smoking room. Waited far long time to have the power adapters to be delivered. Will not come back again.
Stayed here for first two nights of trip around thailand. Was so nice to enjoy the rooftop pool on first night. Gym facilities were also open late. Bed was very comfortable, robe and slippers in room. Newspaper could be delivered each morning. Location was good, walking distance to metro and shopping centre. Would stay again.
True 5-star hotel. Everything was great. Would stay here again. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Fast and relatable internet. Executive lounge was fantastic - breakfast, tea time, and cocktail hour. Pool was great. Fantastic service.
Had a very pleasant stay at this property. Everyone very nice and Bellman Mr. Chang was very kind and took good care of us. Food was good and good variety as well. Good location and close to bts and shopping.
I've stayed at this hotel for the last 3 trips I've been to Bangkok. Located in Sukhumwit and 5 mins walk away from the BTS, convenience is definitely one of the key reasons why I keep coming back. Great hospitality and rooms are well maintained. Each room comes with bottled water which the hotel provides continuous supply. Modern design in all rooms with comfortable bedding and great air conditioning which is very important especially in the hottest months. Buffet breakfast is good but more could do with more variety. Decent gym however the pool is a little small and needs more work in maintenance to ensure that it's clean all the time. In my recent trip, the pool was murky white with lots of objects floating around. I could not put myself to swim in the cloudy and dirty pool. Packed with people in the tiny pool, most people could barely move. Size aside, I would expect better upkeep from management to ensure that it's clean and hygienic. Value for money hotel with great convenience.
First stay at this hotel. Upgraded to executive room with lounge access. Clean and comfortable room, good bathroom. Great location as BTS 5 minutes walk and easy access to two emporia. Breakfast in Scallini restaurant was excellent on each of the 5 nights and we were well looked after by Nong and Great. The Executive Lounge serves a good afternoon tea and the evening cocktails and food selection is very good. Extremely well looked after by Esther, Roberto (master of cold coffee), Hana ( makes a good Thai Saiba cocktail), Fah and Nisa. Good advice and help from the Concierge staff: Oui, Title, Keng, Bell, Ai and Tar. Kwan from housekeeping ensured a clean room and adequate amenities. My wife, daughter and I had a truly wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel, not least because of the staff who went out of their way to look after us.
Hilton Honors Gold Status not honored; told at check-in that this was because I booked via a third party (Agoda / Expedia etc): a conversation with the manager corrected that, though they say it's policy to not honor status unless booked direct with Hilton - never had this issue before, even staying at the Conrad five days earlier booked through Expedia. Worth keeping in mind. Rooms are good, beds are very comfortable, quiet, though in need of some upgrading from wear and tear, and the bathrooms floor in both rooms needing mopping. Hallway on 10th smelt damp. Executive lounge is very good and good selection for breakfast. Convenient location to the Skyline, few minutes walk. Good for a one night stop-over but I'd be disappointed for any longer stay; simply doesn't compete, even at its lower price point. Finally, small tip - taxi from the airport charges 280baht on a meter to the hotel. Hotel quotes fixed price only for 800baht back to the airport and says no meters available.
Exceptionally good hotel, great location. Excellent Service. Bar style is very good and along with the drink and food. Good selection of wine / cocktail and food variety is simple and exequiste. Since we arrived earilier, room was not ready so receptionist asked to come back at three o'clock. When we come back at three they said still room is not ready and asked to wait 30 mins more. It can be understood as too many guests but we were waiting more than 2 hours. Most of all we saw they allocte room for western people first. They only asked Asians to wait more. They may think we cannot complian as our English is not good. It was very upset we pay equally but we deserved this.
