Good location with the good service. The room is spacious which will always make us feel relaxing. I like the swimming pool as it's very clean and the employee by the poolside is very friendly and helpful. Meanwhile, the breakfast is good but I found the menu still the same as I stayed last year and it will be good to have some change periodically. Anyway, overall is good to us, and I might choose to stay again for the coming visit.
This is my second stay in Hansar Bangkok, and I am sure I will also choose Hansar when I travel to Bangkok next time. Again, the service is great, the room is good, the location is perfect and also the spa is really great~ And all these come with a reasonable price.
I found a quiet hotel. Then I found Hansar, and I made reservations, worried, and started traveling. By the way, it was really classy and kind hotel. Next, I plan to use it again. I recommend a quiet and luxurious luxury Hansar Hotel.
Love the comfortable and quiet for the stay. Love the big bathtub, can let me to have a fully relaxing on the trip. Staff are very nice. And location is very good. Just 5 mins walk from BTS and 1 station to Siam station.
A well located boutique hotel with good staff, services, quality of rooms. Only small critique is that their TV satellite service has very limited channels. Otherwise, the breakfast was great, service excellent and good concierge -- very helpful, charming and caring service.
Booked my trial 2-night visit releasing other highly rated properties in favour of Hansar, in view of its high ratings and brand image shared with sister Koh Samui property. Have to admit I felt let down from the start because room type specifics I had requested were ignored/overlooked? But problem solved quickly, re-assignment satisfactory meeting my instructions. Though I had not expected the ageing condition of the room, design layout and essentials such as linen quality, pillow choice and large size bathroom with good water pressure and amenities satisfied (with the exception of having to call housekeeping for toothbrush/paste and shower cap, strange absence considering the high room rate). Complimentary minibar inclusions although minimal were welcomed - coke, local beer, extra water... On the plus side, breakfast stands out and I think the mini breakfast menu for a la carte cooking is fantastic. Service is friendly, discrete and privacy ensured - I liked that! SUV airport transfer from hotel was faultless. Negatives: inferior quality materials in the room (wood), ageing condition, neighborhood view, low-energy district (compared to other parts of Bangkok) Having said all this, I think
We stayed at the Hansar, as the first stop on our Thailand honeymoon. We loved the style of this hotel, feeling like a boutique hotel, yet still offering all the luxuries we want; lovely pool, gym, restaurants and close to the sights. Our room was incredible, offering seperate living and bedroom spaces. A new hotel, it was uber trendy and had cool decor! Loved the stay!!
I would imagine when it first opened this hotel was absolutely amazing. It is still pretty good but you can see that the property is old and needs a major refresh. On the plus side, the rooms were really good size, big bathroom - very comfortable, big bathtub, double sink, large shower. The room had a balcony but the view was not great at all, and there was no decent furniture on the balcony - and does feel like the hotel encouraged to use the balcony. In fact most of the times the hotel staff kept the curtains closed. The pool is quite small, old deck, paint is cracking on the walls - all this makes it not as great experience as it would have been if it was updated. Staff at the reception was exceptionally polite, welcome drink was delicious and ice cold - just what you need in hot Bangkok! The concierge was very helpful and friendly too. A Fairly good selection at the breakfast too, we actually really enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel. Overall, I would rate it 6.5-7 / 10.
We booked a one night stay on our way home to UK. The welcome we received from Concierge and Reception Desk was the most friendly and efficient we have ever received in forty years travelling to Thailand. Our suitcases had been left behind in Kuala Lumpur - Sean and later Golf took immediate ownership of our problem allowing us to enjoy our night in Bangkok. Sean made immediate contact with our airline and kept us regularly updated. The following morning Golf took the initiative and we received our suitcases at the hotel before lunchtime. Service = quite amazing. It would be true to say that each member of staff we met added an extra quality to our stay, we remember Bank and Apple on the reception desk and Pla at Breakfast. The hotel is superbly located for travel throughout the city, Rachadamri BTS only 300 metres away and there are restaurants/cafes close by. The magnificent Lumphini Park is a short stroll away. Our Urban suite was large (internal garden) very well furnished with high quality fixtures, fittings, linens and the bathroom also large, contemporary and spotlessly clean. The view from the room is not so good, lots of apartments, balconies and windows. Breakfast was a real joy, lots of choice, good quality and pleasant surroundings.
After read reviews in Tripadvisor i booked the Hansar Bangkok for 3 nights. Booked direct via their website and got a urban suite package with roundtrip transfer. Pick up service at the airport was just average. Check in process was nothing to mention- rather cold. Staff at check in could be friendlier and more attentive. The urban suite was large but the carpet was way too dirty. Lots of stains on the couch & pillows in the living room. The Bellboys & Concierge Desk at the entrance were all very attentive. Worst thing was the service at the brealfast room. While most of the staff working hard- 2 of the thai waitress were quite rude. The transfer back to the airport was ok.The Location was the main reason i picked this place to stay, it is just about 3 mins walk to the Rajdamri BTS. I will not considering the Hansar Bangkok any more- the Anantara next door is much more welcoming.
