Horrible room, very dirty and disgusting. Location is in the back of beyond. Sadly the hotel does not look like the pictures shown on the Website AT ALL!!! SO disappointed especially because it was the 31st of December 5PM. We wanted to celebrate New Year's there and have a good time. Very, very sad. No Wifi either in the Hotel room Floor.

I booked this place for four nights on Agoda and when booked I requested an early check in. We arrived at the hotel very tired after a very early flight from Chiang Mai. The staff then informed us (not so politely) that we would have to wait until 2 o clock to check in. And we have two restless young children with us. The staff did absolutely nothing to help us get in to our room earlier even though we waited in their (run down) reception for several hours. When arrived the hotel looked very bad and old, the swimming pool we were informed has been closed for the past two months. Waiting in reception there were other guests having problems with the unhelpful reception staff. I would avoid this hotel totally in future and spend a little bit more where you might get a professional service. VERY unimpressed

Although the price was ok for our staying, the fact that the pictures that they have on the booking websites are really old is really not cool. When we arrived we had a bad surprise of seeing the hotel really rundown: the rooms are old, the furniture is old and dirty, the doors are beat up (some have holes) and quite dirty and we had no towels. The bathroom was smelling funny and the wifi was working only in the lobby. Also, the ask for a 50 USD for deposit and this is not mentioned when you do the booking. The good part of this hotel is that is close to sky train station Surasak. If you are on a strict budget, then this might work for you - it worked for us as well since we did not come to BKK to stay in the hotel.

Hi dear friends I will never recommend this hotel.Very dirty rooms just they come to clean your room.If you go five times on reception. No wifi in rooms.Mosquitos in lobby. No friendly staff. No facilities

This is a little hotel if you’re on a budget for your stay in Thailand. Rooms have aircon and a television. Wifi is only available in the lobby which is disappointing as this is currently being refurbished it’s not the most comfortable of places to sit. It is out of the way not close to a BTS or MRT, you have to walk to the end of the road for a taxi so bear this in mind if you are going to rely on public transport. It is currently undergoing a lot of refurbishment work so an average stay as the pool is closed and the communal area is in a state of disrepair. I’m sure that this will be fixed soon, would recommend checking up to date photos or the website before booking to ensure you have all he facilities available to you. At this moment in time I would say there are other places to book before this one.

To be fair a least they’re trying to revamp it. But the pool is closed from October to December, and you get to listen to the jackhammers working from your room. It’s a tired and worn hotel, that doesn’t really have the charm to compensate. It’s cheap and was a stop over for us for one night. The rooms have aircon and a fridge (that wasn’t turned on so was useless for a few hours) but there really isn’t much to recommend. WiFi for example is only available in the lobby which is a pretty uncomfortable place to sit. The wet room is pretty good but has some fairly dodgy exposed fixtures and wiring as pictured. Do check the website for an up to date version of amenities available before booking your stay.

Not to be a diva but there is nothing about my stay at H-Residence that is positive. Simply if there is nowhere else available - it's clean, there is a friendly cat and really lovely outside seating place.

I would like to share my disappointment and dissatisfaction during my stay at H Residence Hotel, Sathorn. Me & my friend (Booking Ref : 2033314) were booked the room separately for this hotel through one of the online provider known as planetrooms.com. I am also wondering the hotel's pictures which have advertised on website some of them are not genuine. The interior and exterior of the rooms, lobby, restaurant, car park are now totally outdated and ran down. Herebelow my comments; 1) Reception The staff unfriendly and hard to speak in English. At the reception counter the wall & ceiling were leaking until the paint became dull and dirty. I did not manage to take the picture and show it to you. The reception counter is not well organized and maintained because there were papers messed on the table. Check-in is at 1400 hrs but we were waited for more than 1 hour to get our room ready. We do not think the hotel is full on that day. 2) Room (#406 / #407) Totally unacceptable! The room seems like it was not incomplete in-term of interior design. The toilet door paints have been peeled off and shower head was leaking. The wall interior is so dull and pain. The mattress is uncomfortable same goes to the pillow where it is totally not good for a sleep. Please see picture as attached. 3) Concierge There was no hotel concierge but only tour desk. This is not as mentioned on hotels' website. Worsen, we were cheated by the tour desk staff (could not recalled his name) where he told us just only pay at Thai Bhat 400,00.00 we can visit floating market, Chatucak Weekend Market & MPK Mall. Then he called a taxi and brought us to the place where the journey took 1 hour 30 minute. When we arrived, we saw it is not floating market where we have to ride a boat and pay at Thai Bhat 2,000 per boat. We'd refused to go and the taxi (Mr. Somsak) driver seems was not happy because we believe he will get the extra money from that place. So, we asked him to bring us to Chatucak instead. The taxi driver said his agreement with that tour desk staff is only from hotel to that place and back to hotel. If we want him to drive us to Chatucak, we have to pay an additional of Thai Bhat 500,00.00. We were shocked and decided to drop us off at Surasak train station only which is nearby at the hotel. He agreed and took us there. Even worse, the taxi driver could only speak and understand in English very little. 4) Airport Shuttle There was no airport shuttle provided as mentioned on hotels' website. 5) Wifi The internet could only access in the lobby and teribbly slow. There is no internet in the room. 6) Location Isolated place. Far from town. There is train station known as Surasak station where need to walk quite a distance. As a 3 star budget hotel, I DO NOt think they deserves that ranking of star. I had stayed at 3 star hotel before but it was not terrible like H Residence Hotel. And all the pictures shown on their website are not as expected.

Memo to self: don't always trust the pics. Yes they do show the rooms to their best, but don't show the slightly tired, worn state of the hotel. It's not in a really rundown state, a good clean & paint is all that's needed to bring it up. Beds are comfortable & clean, as is the bathroom (some minor mould on the shower curtain). Friendly staff, decent but not exceptional breakfast, small & inexpensive room service. & a decent rooftop pool that I had to myself everytime I used it. But it is a bit isolated, meaning you have to walk a reasonable distance for cafes & restaurants. Lots of street food carts nearby tho. Good place to stay if you're looking for an inexpensive place to base yourself & can overlook the isolation & tired appearance.

The pictures of this hotel looked great. A bit too good to be true and it turned out to be to be a bit true. The room was more or less clean but didn't really look like any of the pictures. Staff was super friendly but - there is no internet except in the lobby and even that didn't work very well. Maybe it's clear in the booking information but I missed that. I had some work I had to get done so needed the internet. The staff helped me get booking.com to cancel the reservation which was really nice of them. Not a great place but then it isn't very expensive. If it had internet in the rooms I would have stayed the three nights.
