Overall it is a nice hotel. Staff at front desk are having good English. Room is tidy & clean. Swimming pool & gym are not busy. The only down side is the shuttle bus to BTS. They operate till 8pm only. And they have lunch break as well. So it is not convenient if you rely on shuttle to BTS. Otherwise, walk will take you about 15 mins
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights of business trip. The breakfast is good. Hotel location is surrounded by Japanesse restaurant. It is why many Japanesse stay here and also Chinese and other Asians. I did not see any Thai people stays at this hotel.
Can try this hotel if u stay Bangkok. The hotel quite new, with all facilities in good condition. I tried let’s relax spa and fitness room, except the fitness room not have much and comprehensive equipments, overall is fine. The breakfast buffet with various choices of food and u won’t feel boring if need to eat everyday !
I am the big fan of Grande Centre Point Terminal 21, had been there many many times. So I try Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55 this time. They shares the same concepts, from the lobby to the room, from the Blue Spicy Cafe to the infinity pool. They are so great. The only different is the location, if you love shopping malls more, please stay at Grande Centre Point terminal 21, or if you would like to explore more local stores, please stay at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55 .
This was an overnight stopover before flying on to Vietnam so it was chosen as convenient for airport. The hotel foyer was spacious, elegant and busy. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were efficient and friendly. We didn't eat at the hotel but chose places close by.
Stayed here for 2 nights as a family of four. The hotel itself looks very grand and our executive suite is most comfortable. The electric blinds and stunning city view were the highlights for our children. We all love the swimming pool - not massive but it's never crowded. They have excellent service to match the quality of the accommodation. Staff always greeted our children with the loveliest smiles. The information provided by the concierge was on point and they are very reliable. Complimentary mini bar was a bonus. Location was great - you get to discover different part of Bangkok which is calmer (by Bangkok standard) than the city centre. "After you dessert" is only 5 min walk from hotel - my girl insisted to go every evening as a treat! If there is anything at all to fault, it's only that I wish there was a larger countertop in the bathroom.
On a stopover for three nights in BKK, I stayed here. The hotel is really nice - the service excellent and the rooms spacious and luxurious even down to the free minibar snacks and the really useful folic sockets that took my AU plugs without the need for an adaptor. As a gay traveller, I was looking to get to see some of the local gay scene for which BkK is famous! Although the taxis are ridiculously cheap - it was a bit far to the soi 2/4 areas- but I managed it without to much drama. The hotel is a short walk from the skytrain which really is the only way to get around - be prepared for it to be jam packed full - but I found this all part of the fun. Visit the weekend markets, try the street food (only those that will cook in front of you) and soak up this manic, crazy city ! I’d return - but would stay in the Silom area instead.
Fist time staying at GCP Sukhumvit 55. I have stayed at many hotels in BKK during the last 20 years including the Banyan Tree in Sathorn. The GCP 55 will be now be the hotel I stay at when in town. The staff are an asset to this hotel. Especially the Front desk staff always with a smile and hello. The man who checked me in was very helpful and welcoming. The concierge excellent. The House Keeping and the lady who is constantly cleaning the reception of the Pool/Spa area. This place is sparkling clean. Rooms are big and love the black out blinds for a deep sleep. Shuttle to the BTS every 20 mins. The location is fantastic with great restaurants within a short walk- Roast @ The Commons is a good spot. Please keep up the good work!
My two sisters and I were visiting family in Bangkok and enjoyed a memorable week in this new hotel and were sorry to say goodbye to the luxurious facilities and caring staff. The front desk, bell desk, Blue Spice Restaurant, housekeeping staff, and spa/workout staff are all well-trained professionals and provided for our every need. We felt safe and pampered in this haven above the crazy chaotic pace of Bangkok street traffic. We will definitely return to this hotel when we come back! The hotel offers a free shuttle to the nearest SkyTrain station. The new Donki shopping complex is a short walk from the hotel with Don Quijote, Daiso, and a food court with many options for Japanese dining. Only a block away is a building with 24-hr Foodland supermarket and Thai/American cafe Took Lae Dee, as well as True Coffee, a dim sum restaurant, French-style bakery, and numerous other choices for food & shopping.
My firts time in this hotel. The front desk was perfect on my check in. My room on high flor was good. But restaurant pretend to be European touch and the Staff need lot of training. They was more interest in their self phone, than serve me. Even when I finish my food and wait for 15 minutes for the bill. About Spa, well to me honest, are good but claudy very busy and full of people, what give you feelling more you are in a supermarket than in a place for taking care of your health. The rest was ok.
