This was superb.. by all means..All 5 star amenities and most co-operative staff. Staff always ready to help you for your requirement. Amazing. Could not get my hotel, so, had chance to stay here. But, now, it is my favourite. I will come again and again. Only suggestion is to provide Indian breakfast. We have been provided, but Roti and Rajma is not suitable for any Indian in breakfast !!! Hope, when I will visit again, there will be something to eat in breakfast. Salute to all staff and GM. Keep it up.
The hotel in general is very nice close to everything.. and also they have shuttle bus.. The food is amaziiiiiiing specially in the restaurant and i cant describe how much i like the dinner buffet.. With a very very nice friendly staff they will help you when u need help even if they cant speak english they will send someone for u to talm to u straight away.. I also would like to thank Miss. Sawanya the shift manager for her friendly and nice welcome she gave me and all the help she offered me when i need.. I was going to give the hotel 5 stars but only 4 because of the pool is small and the internet connection is bad.. the staff they tried to help me and they change the room for me but still slow.. Hotel rooms are very big and comfortable and so nice.. In general i like this hotel..
Entire experience at this hotel is horrible. -Internet is so so BAD & the staff do nothing about it apart from offering additional internet cards to log in. Better to buy a SIM card with data than use the hotel network. Ordered room service, guy on the phone can't speak a word of English. Ordered American breakfast and got a 1 poached egg on bread with 2 hash browns and Tomato with basic bread basket. Taxi's refuse to bring you back to the hotel due to traffic and distance. Taxi will charge a fixed price becuz of the distance and traffic. A/C in the room is always freezing whenever u adjust it and so noisy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
Stayed here with a group and the stay here was delightful. The Check in was smooth at the lower lobby for groups and the welcome drink was refreshing. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable clean white sheets and soft pillows that help you sleep peacefully. The bathroom has a tub and a shower cubicle what was a bit intriguing was there were two wash basins side by side and no hand faucet to do your washing up after you finish your business on the throne, again two toilet paper rolls. Rest of the amenities were available in plenty, including a hair dryer. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and vast what was a downer was the breakfast area was a little cramped up especially during 07AM to 0830AM when all guest who are going sightseeing for the day descend for their breakfast. The egg station was handled very smoothly by a chef, unfortunately I am unable to remember his name he not only was quick but was courteous and friendly with a great smile lighting up his face, he needs a special mention and thanks to him, we did not have to wait long in the queues for our omelette. We had a gala dinner with cocktails and it was handled very well save for a few dishes that took some time to be replenished, otherwise the food was tasty and the service exemplary. The banquet hall was spacious and had a stage and a wooden dance floor Just a small issue that I noticed was that there were lots of pins lying about in the hall which were used to keep in place the table cloths draped to the tables. This needs to be looked into as it could hurt someone if it pierced through the footwear as the pins were quite long. The hotel staff who helped out were polite and outgoing as our guest made them also dance to Indian Bollywood music and that made it all the more enjoyable, for I have seen some hotels the staff are stuck up and rigid. Thank you all for having been a fun crowd much appreciated by our group. A great place to stay for families and for groups, the hotel is situated on the main road but you cannot hear the traffic. Entrance seemed a bit narrow but was able to hold quite a number of coaches parked inside. A five minute walk to 7/11 stores and close to the Praram9 hospital. Overall a great place to stay away from the shopping area but then easily reachable by the Tuk tuks, cabs and scooter taxis.
I spent 3 nights here. It was good to get over the jetlag. Check-in was smooth and room was excellent standard. Room service was a godsend as my body clock was out on sync and I was starving at 3am. Wi-Fi worked well in the room. Rooftop pool was no. I dont recommend the spa. The woman bruised me and knackered my neck which let me in pain for the remainder of my 2 week holiday. Its outside the centre but courtesy transport is provided. Night markets are fun. We recommend getting a tuk tuk back - never laughed so much.
The Golden Tulip was a lovely hotel. We stayed on the Executive floor, which was extremely clean and well decorated. We were taken into the lounge where they had fresh and extremely cold juice waiting for us! The views from the Lounge were exceptional! Free Wifi and there was a complimentary breakfast buffet and also snacks and drinks in the lounge available every day. There was someone sitting at the help desk on the floor 24 hours a day, which was very helpful extra. Our room was spacious, modern and thankfully with the same incredible views over Bangkok. Picture worthy. Our bags were brought to our room by a very helpful bell man. We unfortuantly didn't get time to eat in the main restaurants, however we did have room service and get to try out the cafe. Both were wonderful. The food that we had to the room was very good. It was also piping hot. The cafe did a really good selection and was also just as tasty. The outdoor pool in the hotel is lovely- fresh, cold pool water (Very handy when its boiling hot outside) The pool and spa is located on the 5th Floor and also has great views over the city. There are a range of deck chairs and also towels are available at certain times of the day, but it is best to bring your own incase. There is lots of space on the outside terrace for sitting by the pool or just to sit quietly and read away from the pool area. There is also a well equipped gym overlooking the pool. Overall the Golden Tulip is a fab hotel, with great staff, tasty food and very good facilities. We will be back! :)
very nice hotel. modern and upmarket. stunning views of the city. sky lounge restaurant very nice views and food. good location with prompt taxi service. shops and amenities close by. friendly staff. language barrier to English quite a problem but overall good experience.
Very good customer service offered by the staff, quick room service with many dishes selection ,clean rooms, kind staff in charge of the elevator , taxi service always ready. I am in love with this hotel!
The clock makes noise all night long making it impossible to sleep 😴 I'm now in room 1807 and everything is fine but my first 3 nights were hell. Wifi is also very bad this trip.... There was fruit 🍉 in room everyday last trip but not this trip, there was just a little but it was nice to see everyday.
Lovely hotel. Had a room on the 10th floor facing the road. Staff extremely friendly and good. Always at your service , be it any information needed or to call for a cab. Well appointed rooms, very clean, all basic necessities like towels and toiletries present in the room. Towels extremely clean . Room cleaned daily. Breakfast had a good spread. The newly opened Show DC mall is just opposite the hotel. Nice place to shop with almost everything available. There were some renowned brands and as well as local ones to shop for. Food court also very good. Therefore location of the hotel is good. Wish they had a Tea Coffee maker for guest, though water was kept in the room. Would definitely like to stay there again because of its cleanliness and proximity to the mall and not forgetting the courteous staff.
