Had a great stay here! The rooms were big, clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was decent and was included in the hotel price. The pool looked great though we did not have time to enjoy it. Only regret was we didn't get to enjoy the room longer. Would return.
I travel regularly to Thailand (minimum twice a year), and as in the last few occasions I always stay at the Golden Tulip Mandison Suite. Somehow I feel at home in this place, clean, comfortable, magnificent facilities, charming staff. I already wrote the first time I stayed in the envelope about the great experience recommending to everyone the said accommodation. On this occasion it has been even more emotional. I stayed there from December 2 to 5, 2017, afterwards I traveled to Chiang Mai making the mistake of staying at 3 Laan House, the worst experience regarding accommodations in my 10 years traveling to Thailand (I went more than 25 On our return to Bangkog, we returned to stay at Golden Tulip again, both my friend and I got excited, we did not have to fight to prepare a picnic, we simply indicated that we would not have breakfast since at midnight we left for the airport and ask for it, they gave us tickets so we could have breakfast at that moment (great Golden Tulip breakfast, not only in variety, also in quantity, you can have breakfast as much as you want without any restrictions). A delight The tuc-tuc brought us to the BTS station. In the afternoon we returned to our room (38 m2), perfect, magnificent views, clean, with fruits to which the hotel invites you, mineral water ... in short all kinds of luxuries for a price more than reasonable despite being the most expensive time of the year in Thailand. So again I recommend to any traveler this accommodation for your stay in Bangkok. A greeting.
After a bad experience at Pattaya with our Hotel, this place turned out to be an ultimate luxury. Since we were a large Group, we had informed them about our approx. arrival time. We were handed over the Keys at the Ground Floor Bell Desk and settling down in the rooms was pretty quick. There were two parts to the room - a seating cum office desk and a Bedroom. I believe some of my colleagues had Kitchenette in their rooms instead of office desk. Very spacious and well stocked bath Room. Everything about this place was fabulous. I had a visitor to meet me and we met in the Restaurant for an hour or so over Coffee. Nice and impressive ambience. Breakfast was lavish with multiple options. Staff was cooperative with smiling faces. Would love to visit again and this place is conveniently located. The Metro station "Asoke" is walking distance. There are so many Massage and eating joints in the near vicinity including Indian Restaurants.
I stayed the Golden Tulip for four nights attending a conference. The hotel is very comfortable(beds) The staff are very cordial and respectful The food is good The area is silent Great shpping centres nearby. Very good eating places close to the hotel
Bangkok is a place with a plethora of a choices to stay. So going to this one can be avoided if you don't have other options.however, if you're getting local guests, this one is quite cool about it. The hotel is actually service apartments, which means it's not designed to be a proper hotel. The hotel has a good restaurant with affordable prices. The pool is good too. The problems start at the room. The lighting is just insufficient. While the wide glass wall ensures enough ambient light during day time, at night it's kinda very dim. We had to pay 60 Thai bahts for an ice bucket!!! Never heard of this. The staff is courteous and speak better english than other same class of hotels. It's ok for an overnight stay. But if you want the hotel experience, skip it.
This hotel was just what we needed to get some sleep for our layover and the end of an exciting trip. Not right off Sukhumvit Rd. but close enough for us to get some dinner walk and come back for a few hours sleep. We had book a room with breakfast in the morning but when we said we would be leaving in the middle of the night to catch our flight they gladly had two boxed meals made for us to take with us. They even got our cab for us so we didn't have to wait when we got down to the street level.
Great location, spacious room and a comfortable king size bed. The restaurant was deserted, I was the only one having dinner. The food was nice but nothing spectacular. Service at the reception was fast and efficient but their approach a bit to harsh for my liking. They kept asking me for my passport while I was trying to get it out of my purse. This was very annoying because they did not give me a chance to pull out my passport, they kept telling me 3 times that they need my passport while looking at me and seeing that I was about to give it to them. When I asked for a converter, the receptionist looked like she did not want to be bothered. When I checked out the next morning, the receptionist on duty was no different than his colleague who checked me in the day before. Not a hotel I will book again.
Too many stays here to count up now! This is our chosen 'Home from Home' when we pass through Bangkok. Service is always reliable. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and enough variations. Rooms are just SO relaxing and quiet. We look forwards to our next stay @ GTMS......
Stayed here for three days in December and it was a well kept, centrally located hotel.Friendly staff, rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast was very good.Swimmimg pool was adequate and the WiFi generally worked well.Everything is nearby, and they have a tuk tuk service. When you leave the hotel take some time to explore, turn both ways and see what’s nearby.Top tip,use the BTS and subway and the Radisson Blu which is 6 minutes walk away on Sukhumvit has a great rooftop bar.
It was our honeymoon and we were treated nicely , the room was spacious, the breakfast has a variety of food, the staff were more than good. I really enjoyed our stay in that hotel. As well as its location, it is near to everything we need and they offer a free tuktuk service to reach the bts.
