I must confess I have stayed here a few times when planning on being active and naughty in the local nightlife. It's clean, convenient and good priced. Rooms are large and decorated in a pseudo modern way. Comfortable enough for a night or three. Friendly staff and nothing to complain about. Have fun
First impressions of the room where not overwhelming, but for the price I think you can't expect more. What really sets this place apart are the people who will go out of their way to help you. A nice lady even made our 2 min noodles for us! Perfect for us for a night as we where only in Bangkok to apply for a visa.
Really nice big room and jacc bath with shower but cleaning could be better black on grout in shower area DON'T get breakfast unless you like Asian food even then not good value Paid about 200bt extra for breakfast They hadn't bothered to put on filter coffee machine and wouldn't do it when asked No fruit juice No milk only whitener powder even for tea! Choice of 3 Asian dishes probably OK but got my order wrong I just had a salty omelette. Situation v good Summary Good value for 1100 bt but poor breakfast
Very affordable place, but since its extremely budget friendly & located near night market would not recommend to families or couples. Its good for friends backpacking in Thailand & who want to stopover in Bangkok for night life & partying only.
This property is not maintained with care. The air conditioner leaks and doesn't maintain a consistent temperature overnight. By the early morning hours, the room is warm and stuffy, so much so that it might wake you up. The sight of spare change from previous guests laying around made me think my room had not been carefully cleaned. The mold in the shower made me think the same. Fixtures are broken and paint is chipped. The breakfast is good, though, and the woman who serves it is charming.
Affordable hotel to stayed located in central Bangkok. Service lift for luggage only. My room on the 4th floor and I have to use the stairs. But it is not a big problem for me. The hotel is quite hot but still okay.
Location is close shops of Silom. Room noise from traffic can be an issue. No elevator or air conditioning in public areas. Room was clean but basic. Likewise bathroom. Glass wall between bathroom and bedroom so you need to be comfortable being on display to your roommate.
Firstly the photos don't look anything like the hotel when, it's horrible, dirty rooms, it's just the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Much better hotels for less. No lift, hot, what else can I say, just a filthy hell hole, would not let my dog sleep in the room, that bad, then they tried to charge me. Credit card fee, I said no way and refused to pay it.
It's always good to start off with the positives, and the location is very central and convenient. However that's the only good thing I have to say about this hotel. Firstly we were not given the room advertised, we got given a very small box shaped room which is a contrast from what was advertised on the website (images and description) and what was paid for. Amongst the general poor condition of the room, the room was very dim as the lights were not working, the staff simply said it was broken and suggested I keep the curtains open instead. Upon requested a change of room, I was told that they can change the rooms and upgrade me to the room that was advertised if I agreed to pay for a cost that was greater than the price differences between the room. Out of principle, I was not prepared for pay extra for something that was falsely advertised. They simply repeated that it's only a 'small amount' and was not willing to change the rooms. Following an tedious conversation with the manager where they failed to appreciate that they are principally at fault for the false advertisement of the room, the manager suggested that I look for somewhere else and she would contact the booking agent and arrange for a full refund. 2 weeks later, I have still no word about the refund and all correspondences have gone unanswered. Needless to say, not a positive experience.
Location is superb. Close to the BTS and nightlife. A lot of food and massage parlours. Hotel itself definitely need sprucing. However, for the price I paid, I would not expect much. It has done above average. No passenger lifts. Room is neat. The toilet door however is frosted. It is almost see through. So definitely not a hotel for two casual friends. Breakfast is just basic. I recommend that you have your breakfast outside. However, if you intend to have breakfast in the hotel, be prepared to be served as though you are in a Thai home! The lady working during breakfast makes good phad thai and with her limited english vocabulary, tries her best to make sure you dont go hungry! Ask her to make for you pad thai and eggs omelette! I am not a fussy traveller especially with the dollar spent there per night. Definitely worth it. And if you expect to be treated like royalty, you can cross the road to Le Meridien Hotel :)
