My third time in this hotel Currently there one more time Really great price value! Very good location Huge rooms Very good breakfast The staff is just super helpful and nice The only hickup is that the rooms are with terrace and since there are new regulations in Bangkok the terrace is close But they fixed the probleme when i complained about it In summery.... Big yes yes
Just stayed in this Furama for the 3rd time...each time keeps getting better! Immaculate spacious rooms with a view. Joined "Furamafirst" on their website as I love deals. Stayed in a room with Executive Club Access (including BF, all-day refreshments and evening drinks/snack in the Executive Lounge). Definitely value for money! Location a plus+ and staff+++. Management always assisting guest too!
The hotel is great, very near by walking to silom that the place playing water staff are friendly, Room is big and clear. the breakfast food is nice. nearby alot of massage spa and 7/11. Will back again.
I have had a perfectly pleasent stay at this hotel. I found it a little pricey, but the staff was very friendly, the room clean and I had a breakfast included which was phenomenal. They also have a swimming pool on the top floor with a bar. The accomodation is very central which makes travel easy and they help you get to where you're going without you being overcharged. I was severely overcharged getting from the airport to the hotel, my return to the airport cost me a fourth of the price. I would recommend this accommodation for couples or individuals who would like convenience and whom are able to afford it.
My wife and I stayed in the Furama Silom Hotel, room 1602, in Bangkok for the first few nights of our three week trip through Thailand and Laos. It is a large high rise hotel in the business district that seems to appeal to large tourist groups. These include visitors from both Europe and Asian countries. The rooms are very large and modern with great views over the city since one whole wall was a window. Of course, our view was likely better because our room was on the 16th floor. The room was clean, had a nice comfortable king bed, and many of the amenities that would be expected in this type of hotel: large flat panel TV, safe, mini bar, etc. One nice touch was the number of outlets to plug in phones, computers, phones and other electronic devices. This is a rarity. The hotel also had a nice pool on the roof along with a roof top restaurant. The Furama Silom is located close to many restaurants, just up the street from the Tops Market and about a 25 minute walk from Lumpini Park, a city park with fountains and walking paths. Check in was fast and efficient and the English at the desk was quite good. Overall, the staff was very friendly. As can be expected, the breakfast was buffet style with lots of both eastern and western choices. However, even though the breakfast room was large, it always seemed to be crowded and people were competing to get at the food. There was both an “eggs to order” station and a similar noodle soup bar. The only negatives were the street noise at night. Yes, even on the 16th floor we could hear it. So bring ear plugs. Also, the lighting was not great. I should note that the lighting problem is almost universal in every place we have stayed at during all our trips to South East Asia. Bottom line is I would highly recommend the Furama Silom, and definitely would stay there again.
Nice hotel in a nice location. Good point to start the adventure in thailand. Rooms clean and spacius. Found the toillet a little bit old comparing to the room. Breakfast was good and had a lot to choose from. Recommend it.
I really like my Deluxe Room with the view over the city. The room was really clean and huge and big bathroom. But the staff was not really polite. They gave me key that didn't setup the code yet, so i can't open the door. I need to come back to the receptionist to fix that. They just fixed and return the key without any apologize. They should have someone to accompany the guest to room to show the room and make sure the guest is well settle. During breakfast, i was a bite late, before closing the breakfast, they should ask the guest if they need anything else before it close. I arrived at the restaurant a bite before the restaurant closed, there was no clean table for me. For this kind of luxury hotel, the staffs should be more trained. Despite this small thing, i enjoy my stay there.
The location is perfect for everything,Helpful and friendly staff at Front desk ,the Room was large and comfortable The cleaning of the room was not well the whole bathroom tot wet due to a to short shower curtain The breakfast was very well Hotel staff was very friendly
I booked the executive club room as I think the others looked tired/dated. Im happy I did as there was alot of space in the room, with a decent desk and lounge area. The bathroom was a bit of a maze of glass panels/doors and it is all clear so perhaps not a room for friends. However I did notice they had blinds in the bathroom for this purpose. I did like the idea of being able to see out to the city view (great view!) from the bathtub and I assume this is the reason for the clear, not frosted, glass. Toiletries seemed only half full as if left behind from previous guests, but I did have my own. Shower was clean and spacious and lots of space for your shampoo ect. Disappointing that housekeeping only came through when requested. So if you didn't think to ask in the morning, you have to call reception and hope they come in the afternoon. It just meant when I forgot to hang my towel I had to deal with a wet one and also ran out of toilet paper at one stage - but they did come up to the room quickly so wasnt really a huge deal. Its just nice for them to come daily to take away room service plates ect Service was great, always helpful. They even left a happy birthday plate in my room on my birthday which I thought was sweet especially since I was travelling alone. I especially liked the concierge who would hail taxis for me to avoid being ripped off. Rooftop bar is great, good atmosphere, amazing views just needs more sunbeds. You have to go up early to get one. The ones down the side are made for couples in a little square in the wall, ie if you go up as a single person you end up quite close to someone looking straight at them. Also disappointing when they light the bbq for dinner about 4pm, lots of smoke comes tumbling out (irritating eyes ect) and if you are near it you feel the need to leave. Room service was good food, large portions and breakfast was your standard buffet. Nothing too amazing for breakfast but was all you needed. As I had a club room, I quite liked eating breakfast in the lounge which had a bit of a view of the street. It was a great place to sit and watch the world go by. All in all a great hotel at a really great rate. I would stay again for the rooftop pool!
Upon arrival we received an upgrade which was a very pleasant surprise! The suite was beautiful with amazing city views out of both windows. The room was huge with a sitting area, office, separate room and glassed in bathroom. We enjoyed the very comfortable bed as well! Everything was very nice! We enjoyed the offerings of the executive club. Staff were friendly and attentive to filling our glasses anytime they started to get empty. All staff around the property were very kind. It was a nice location to access the patpong market and other restaurants. The rooftop pool was nice with beautiful views. We definitely enjoyed our stay and felt very special with our upgrade! Had a great time in Bangkok!!
