This hotel is great for exploring Bangkok and combining that with relaxing. we stayed here for 7 days, the staff was welcoming and we had a free upgrade to a great room with a Wonderfull view. the pool and rooftop makes it possible to take some relaxing monets in the big city. besides that the hotel is placed in a great area in walking distance to a lot of sightseeing. oh and we really enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with EVERYTHING!
Convenient place both for business trips and travelers ! Stay in higher floors for nice city view ! Totally in love with location, nice to transport to awesome malls. Perfect for traveling in Bangkok. A total Recommend !
We arrived at around 2am in the morning. Check in was pretty quick and they gave us room on 12th floor. Our room was huge with pretty good view of the city. Everything worked fine in the room. Bathroom could use some upgrade but no issues. This hotel is perfectly located where all the tourists are. Patpong market was only 10min of walk and the BTS station is right around the corner. There is plenty of restaurants and street food around the hotel. Best part about this hotel was free breakfast which is huge. They have everything for breakfast you could possibly imagine. Front staff was nice and helpful. Sometimes conversation was issue due to language barrier but it worked fine. I will stay at this hotel again if I am ever in Bangkok. Price was perfect. For $30 a night, what else we could have asked for. Plus they have rooftop pool from where you can get pretty amazing view of the city.
Room size very good and location is good, staff could be a bit more friendly, and air con could be quieter, would also be good if they had air con in lifts and corridors, bed very comfy and they also have a rooftop swimming pool.
Nice hotel with big rooms and centrally located with nearby BTS station, chong-nonsi. Staff could have been more friendlier and room air-con quieter. Also no air-con on corridors. Beware of tuktuk and taxi drivers hanging outside hotel whose only agenda is to scam you.
For many years we have been staying in Furama Silom. The Front Office Team is always hospitable especially Khun Pattama & Khun Nitraree who have always made our stay feel like Home. Our cleaner Lady, Khun Utoomporn was superbly fantastic and detailed in her work. A big THANK YOU to the entire Furama Silom Team.
Totally renovated Furama Silom offer spacious Room , a nice roof top pool and a great breakfast Perfect location in the heart of Silom Walking distance to BTS Lot of restaurants , bars and attraction around . Friendly staff An excellent value for money Highly recommend
I've been in Bangkok many times and stayed in many hotels. However, Furama was a really pleasant stay. Although, the Silom road is a busy downtown street and the hotel is a bit aged, the amenities and service they offer are pretty decent. Also, don not be confused with the different Foruma hotels in Bangkok. There is also one near this Furama called Furama Xclusive in Sathorn street. I don't know much about the Xclusive ones but I think they have newer buildings than the regular Furamas. There are 4 types of the rooms in this Hotel. Superior, Deluxe, Executive club and Executive suite. All are spacious and convenient to stay. The Superior ones are the old not renovated rooms which I do not recommend. Deluxe and Executives clubs are almost the same, but Executives are on highest floors and have the Lounge service included. Both are the same size. Suites bathrooms are a bit different which are more luxurious. I booked an Executive club room and they gave me floor 19th which is the highest floor. The reason is because with a bit difference in price per night in compare with the Deluxe ones I could have Executive lounge on the second floor for breakfast, all-day refreshments and 6-8 free drink which was really worth it. I booked online and but if you become a Furama member on their website you can enjoy 10% discount on rooms rates. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. The housekeeping also were nice and clean the room everyday in a very friendly manner. The club lounge staff were also very nice and friendly and their service was really good. Hotel has free WiFi in all the areas.Although it is sometimes inconsistent in some areas, the speed is Ok. My room had free tea coffee maker and complimentary water everyday. Bathroom and washroom was good and bathtub and shower were separated. Keep in mind that there is a glass window between bathroom and the room. I love this type of bathrooms but be aware if you don't like. There is also a business desk, Flat screen TV and a sofa in one corner of the room. Breakfast in on the second floor with various options. I really enjoyed it everyday. There is also buffet lunch and dinner for only $16-17 which is really worth it. The roof top swimming pool is one of the remarkable points of this hotel. Although, it is not a big pool, it has a great view to the city and you can also enjoy the bar besides the pool specially on evenings where the sun is not burning you. There is also a fitness centre. Location of the hotel is pretty good because you can access to the Skytrain within 10min walk. There is also buses, taxis and TookTooks around. You can find markets, money changers, even some good restaurants around the hotel. There is an Italian restaurant right in front of the hotel which I really enjoyed having dinners there and I did not believe that I can have such an Italian food in the heart of Bangkok! I am going to post some photos which shows you many details about the hotel even the electricity plugs that the hotel has.
The rooms were okay. The first room we checked into the beds were as hard as rock and the fridge or kettle didn’t work so they changed our rooms and the new beds were much better. I think it needs a bit of tlc, especially the rooftop area as it has such potential. Even changing the carpet throughout the hotel would make such a big improvement. This hotel is in a great area though...
We stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent location. Walkable from the nearest BTS station. The breakfast is delicious with lots of options and a live counter for egg omelettes. The room is huge and spacious and had a really good nights sleep. The house keeping staff does an excellent job and the hotel is very neat and clean . No complaints whatsoever.
