Dusit hotels are in general very good. This hotel is no exception. Great rooms, pool and gym. Very friendly staff and just nex to Lumpini Park, BTS and Metro. I can not do anything else but to recomend this hotel to both couples and family.

We arrived at the Dust Thani after a very long flight. Despite agreeing an early check in prior to arrival, we were told the room wasn't available but we could use the shower in the gym. When our room was finally ready, we found it in the old part of the building and it was horrid. The telephone didn't work, the room smelt damp and there was only one bedside table. The manager arrived and agreed it should not have been let. We were then taken to a room in the newer building which was much better but had a terrible view. Room aside, the staff were very helpful, the common areas were beautiful and the locations was great, close to all public transport and opposite a beautiful park.

In front of the hotel has BTS Station and MRT Station and few 7 Elevan and cafe nearby, very convenient. They are so kind to offer a free extra bed to my 8 year old child.I really liked that they helped us with carrying our luggages. Over all they made it a comfortable stay at Dusit Thani.

this hotel is in a great location right outside is the skytrain hub and across the street a wonderful park to walk through.. The amenities of this hotel are excellent. The daily breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip. the staff was very helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very nice.

Golden moments: Friends introduced us to this hotel, and we have heard about the good reputation of this hotel for many years. The "moment of truth" when we arrived and during check in was golden. It was smooth, no hassle and the counter staff speak good English. The lobby was grand and big. The welcome drink at the sunken lounge facing the waterfall was another plus point. Breakfasts in the Pavilion Restaurant: During our four days and three nights stay, we have encountered many ‘extra mile’ services. The breakfast of Pavilion restaurant came with many variety of foods, including Japanese sushi, French pastries and cakes, Chinese fried rice and porridge, Japanese Shushi and congee, Indian curry and breads and honey baked ham and many others. There were live stations for eggs and Thai soup noodles. Foods were replenished very fast, waiting time was minimum when the foods run out. The Tariyaki chicken was one of the foods that run out very fast. The room: The junior suit we stayed was spacious and clean, and with all the necessary toiletries. It has a nice view of the swimming pool and the tree canopies of the Lampini Park. The Wifi was very strong through out. The location. It is next to Silom MRT station and Sa la Daeng BTS station. Trains from these stations and the connecting trains go to Suvarnabumi International Airport, Chatuchak Weekend Market, BMK Mega Mall, Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, Or Tor Kor Open Market, Hua Lamphong train station. Trains from Hua Lamphong station go to Ayutthaya(old capital of Thailand). The busy Silom road is just about 50 metres outside the hotel. There is Silom Shopping Mall, a big modern shopping complex with retail stores and food outlets just about 150 metres from the hotel. Patpong night market is near to this shopping complex. It is a pity that this charming hotel with so much history and heritage is going to be demolished and rebuild. Will return again before it is gone.

We stayed in the Dusit Room which seems recently updated. The location of the hotel is great, with many amenities nearby and really good food. The pool is on the small side but still nice. Definitely one of the better hotels in Bangkok!

Really go out of your way to stay at this fabulous hotel - the rooms bathrooms and own private balcony is wonderful. The hotel is very central, staff and atmosphere truly outstanding. Stay in club rooms - dedicated check in, facilities and private roof terrace are just so worth it.

Had a wonderful stay at the Dusit Thani in Bangkok, heard after we left that they are planning on demolishing it and rebuilding starting in Jan 2018. It's a beautiful hotel with a lot of history and should be heritage listed. Close to heaps of markets, the skytrain and metro, street food here is awesome

Great central location, good rooms and excellent staff. I could not find fault with this hotel. Nice gym and a driving range, pool is on the small side however remember you are in the middle of a capital city. Highly recommended.

This hotels has exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. I stayed at many 5 star hotels but the way Dusit Thani staff treats you is amazing. From the minute you get to the hotel till you depart they treat you as an individual and make you feel special. All the staff greet you in traditional Thai way and offer a smooth check in experience. The hotel itself is amazing and really big with great city view. It offers good breakfast. Only bad thing about this hotel is there is a big window in between the shower and the room. So not so great for privacy. There is blinds that you can pull down from the outside however if you walk past the gap is so big that you can easily glance inside the bathroom. There should be a better cover which should be on the inside of the bathroom like they do at dusit thani in Abu Dhabi. Apart from that great staff and amazing hotel, offer everything from a-z very nice in room dining options, Tasty sticky rice with mango. Would definitely stay here again but hope that bathroom privacy issue gets fixed
