The staff were incredible always with every interaction. I came with 3 kids- which was probably my bad on Khaosan Road, but our room was so loud (like sooooo loud- we can handle inconveniences, this was like being next to a speaker in a night club). So we moved on the second night at 2am. We had to split into two rooms, and they were MUCH quieter, but still not quiet. This property is best suited for a backpacker type traveller who is up for 5pm to 5am parties. The roof top pool was nice, but dated.

Nice but noisy hotel

The hotel felt safe and the entrance was slightly set back from the Main Street with security at the entrance, I didn’t use the pool but it looked fine. There was a lot of noise but you are right on Khao San a very busy street- bring ear plugs! The room was clean and had all I needed.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel. Generally we have an excellent time, this time though we had a little trouble with the room being smaller, even though we had booked the same room as every other time. I see people complain about outside noise, and that noise wasnt bad at all. The noise from the neighbors was sometimes overwhelming. But nothing I can really do about that. Pool cafe attendants were amazing and very friendly.

A FUIRE !

À FUIRE !!!!!! C'est d'ailleurs ce que nous avons fait après avoir passé une nuit HORRIBLE alors que nous devions en passer 3 ! Khaosan road est la rue la plus animée de Bangkok et c'est peu dire ! C'est à la discothèque qui mettra le son le plus fort : 122 db relevées sur le décibelmètre, en peine rue ! Autant dire qu'à ce niveau sonore, aucun établissement hôtelier de cette rue ne dispose de fondation suffisamment isolée. A cela s'ajoute les bruits sourds des climatisations d'anciennes génération et une odeur affreuse d'humidité. La réceptionniste (très gentille) nous a proposé plusieurs chambres. Nous avons opté pour celle qui semblait être la plus calme mais nous entendions malgré tout le bruit sourd des discothèques. Sans parler des clients ivres qui regagnent leur chambre à 3h du matin dans l'indiscrétion la plus totale ! En bref, cet hôtel est probablement bien pour les fêtards mais absolument pas pour les autres et encore moins pour les familles ! PASSEZ-VOTRE TOUR ! Le Tinidee Trendy Bangkok hôtel (une rue parallèle) est formidable, avec des prestations exceptionnelles et pour des tarifs quasi similaires

This housing worked for our purposes, but is definitely not for everyone. Noise from Khaosan Road is inescapable until 5am, and walking back is always an odyssey of dodging hawkers and misbehaved foriegners. If you know this street, you know what to expect. TLDR; You get what you pay for. That said, my group enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay if you are looking to party in Bangkok for a few days. It's lovely during the day, and an absolute circus at night. Party doesn't stop till 5:00 a.m. If you're looking for a secluded place in Thailand, this is not the spot for you.

Because of the location, the street of the hotel is party town at night, different kinds of loud music with humongous speakers coming from all the different restaurants around the area. My friends were unable to sleep well at night. But lots of shops and restaurant at your doorsteps.

Dang Derm is right in the middle of Khaosan Road so if you want to be slap bang in the thick of the thumping nightlife then it’s ideal. The blaring music is audible from your hotel room and goes on until 4am so be prepared for that. But if chaotic, fascinating, loud and relentless is your thing then it’s the place to stay. There’s a pool on the roof if you want to take a break from it all and cool off from the sun and humidity. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly, helpful and spoke good English

The staff is very accommodating and very polite and nice. I would recommend this hotel. I stayed here for three days. What a beautiful rooftop pool very clean and they took care of me like a gentleman.
