Has seen better days but still going strong and cold offer good offer very good value for the Sukhumvit/Asoke area. I think some AirCon units need basic maintenance (maybe just filter cleaning and the like) and buffet breakfast is alright but cold easily be improved by, for example, an omelette station. All in all I will not hesitate to book this hotel again; in fact I happily extended my stay for a further three nights and was glad I did.
Nice room, good price. Conveniently located. Cleaning and support staff in general were nice and helpful. Many of the desk staff (who had the best English) could be more helpful to their guests. When I wanted early check-out, information about hiring a car, and other things, several of them acted put-out by my requests. I ended up getting a lot of my information from taxi and Grab drivers, who were more friendly and engaging. But this wouldn't stop me coming again.
Hard to say anything less than "excellent" about this great value hotel.Great rooftop swimming pool overlooking quiet neighborhood, small fitness/weight room, large comfortable well equipped rooms, super clean, great staff. The only downside is the hotel is set back a ways from Sukhumvit Rd. But for those who don't mind walking a bit, no problem.
overall, the staff were unhelpful (I called from the airport b/c I mistakenly thought we had a pickup and was greeted with "take a cab"-- no apologies). the hotel was about 1/4 mile from the main drag (a bit annoying) and worse, the bathroom had mold on the shower curtain and on the tiles. the breakfast was not ready when they said it was going to be, so headed to the airport hungry. to top it all off, the hotel "arranged" a fixed-rate taxi for us for 300 Baht telling it included all charges (airport surcharge, highway tolls, fare) and then the driver completely renegged and refused to go on the highway (probably b/c the hotel did not make a proper deal with him). This was quite an unpleasant end to our stay.
