We are university professors and Hilton Honors Diamond members who stayed here two weeks on an executive floor. We found all the employees to be very efficient, courteous, friendly and professional, especially the 28th-floor Executive Lounge staff and its breakfast chef. They remembered our names and our usual food and drink orders. The staff is multilingual and one spoke to me in Spanish. The view of the city from the Executive Lounge is simply stunning and we took awesome photographs of the skyline. The concierge was very helpful and made various phone calls to travel agents and taxis on our behalf. The shuttle bus was always precisely on time. Manadech Poljantuk, the Assistant Front Office Manager, quickly helped solve an unexpected situation we had in a very gracious manner, for which we are very grateful. The housekeepers were very diligent, kept the room spotless and provided abundant amenities and water bottles. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable. The laundry service during two weeks was same-day delivery, stains removed and clothes pressed and left for us hanging in the closet or folded in the laundry basket. When returning to the hotel in a taxi, the doorman always shined a flashlight in the front and back of the car after we got out to make sure that we did not leave anything behind. We will certainly be staying here again during our next trip.
We stayed for three nights and couldn't fault any aspect of our stay. From the moment we checked in until check out nothing was too much trouble for the very efficient, friendly and professional staff.
A fine hotel available at a very reasonable rate off season . Excellent service , large and tastefully decorated rooms. Not really walkable to BTS in the heat but there is a shuttle. Breakfast selection could be better and, although the pool area is big pool itself need renovation
This was a decidedly business hotel - in the 6 nights we stayed we saw more men in suits than any other groups, here for meetings, conferences and what not. Whilst it was only 7 minutes walk to Ploen Chit, the hotel does offer quite frequent shuttle services during the popular times. There is also nothing much in the immediately surrounding area, although Nana is within walkable distance (but remember, it is HOT during the day...). In contrast, lobby was extremely cold, as was the room, where the temperate control didn't seem to work very well. Quite tiny older generation flat screen TV with the numbers on the remote all rubbed off - time for an upgrade I think! connection was good however. Pool was really dark (we went one very sunny day in the afternoon around 3pm and there was virtually no sun), likely being blocked by all the tall buildings surrounding it. Couldn't really fault it but probably not the best location for non-business travellers.
We stayed 3 nights and the Conrad Bangkok. The hotel lives up to it’s five star rating. Our rooms were large well cleaned and quite opulent. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially in the executive lounge. If you stay at this hotel be sure to book with executive lounge access. From check in on the 27th floor to the morning breakfast with a huge choice of western and Asian foods and very nice pastries, to the afternoon tea and supper drinks the lounge is well worth the extra. The staff up there are always pleased t help you with anything you want from cocktails to tour planning. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the center of the city. While we were there Thai dignitaries arrived for a stay in the Hotel this shows the standard of hotel and service provided. There is a connected small shopping mall and an Italian restaurant close by. If you are traveling to Bangkok I would recommend this hotel, also the views are excellent.
I expected a high quality experience when staying at The Conrad and was not disappointed. We arrived very early (0430am) and staff were able to accommodate us and make us comfortable. The room was very spacious and the bathroom and an exceptional view over the skyscrapers of Silom and Sukhumvit. Taking a bath was a spectacular experience... The highlight, however, was located very close to the hotel. Just at the end of the driveway, there was a fantastic little group of hawker stalls selling everything you could want to breakfast...curry, soup, Chiang Mai sausage, Thai tea...I was in heaven! Very much recommended.
As with all other Conrad Hilton chain of hotels, this does not disappoint in terms of luxury and quality. Located a short walk of about 8mins from the nearest BTS station, though there is a shuttle that runs every 15minutes up to 9pm. Room is spacious, very well kept with good internet connectivity. Breakfast spread is more than enough to keep me filled up till mid afternoon. There are spas and some eateries within a few minutes walk too.
We really enjoyed in this gem. We were greated as Diamond members and got a room on an upper floor. Later we were offered a terrace suite room which was really great. I mean REALLY GREAT. Living room with workdesk, a huge sleeping room and a spacious bathroom. All rooms had a wonderful view of the huge terrace. The view from the rooms gave you kind of a resort feeling. The terrace on the 28th floor came with sunbeds and your own little lawn. Needless to say that it had breathtaking city views. The lounge was special too, delicious Afternoon Tea and in the evening drinks and canapees. The pool area came lovely landscaped with excellent water quality. What else... the breakfast , the very nice and attentive staff, the great location next to a shopping centre. Next time in Bangkok we will be back . Highly deserved 5 stars !
After the first night of my stay, I found that the bedding sheet that I slept the whole night was full of blood stain. Very disgusting. Besides, the bath mat at the bath room was stained with blood too. Lucky that when I reported to the front desk manager Lydia who immediately apologied and after having inspected the scene herself. She offered to move our 2 rooms for the rest of our stay. She even upgraded one room to corner room and also sent me an apology card together with a bottle of red wine. An extremely professional manager.
Spent three nights here on the way to Conrad Koh Samui. Good location. Gym facilities excellent. Massage excellent. The executive lounge was a highlight. Quiet and excellent service for b'fast and evening unlimited drinks and nibbles for I think for about 1.5-2 hrs. Great view. We had a corner room with an excellent view and large room. Strongly recommend.
