HH Member and got the flash sale for Executive King Room. Great value considering you get access to lounge and the nicer room on the top floors. Although the breakfast selection is not as expansive as the 2nd floor full breakfast, I prefer it as you can avoid the breakfast crowds. The room itself was nice and up to the high level Conrad standards. No complaints there. The location is a little far from the BTS but they have a shuttle bus leaving every 15 mins and also the same one back. There is also a small mall and supermarket attached to the hotel which makes it super convenient. ATMs galore, restaurants and a Starbucks in the mall too! Staying there again next month. Only one complaint, my assistant booked the breakfast and bed package instead of the same King Executive Room instead. Tried to get them to change it to the same deal but no go! The only option was to pay 2,000 baht more for pressing the wrong button! No thanks. A little disappointed for not being flexible considering I was willing to pay more money for a better package.
Very nice place with an execellent service. Nice pool and pool area, fantastic service from all the staff members. Spaecy rooms and very clean. We stayed for Christmas Eve. and had an amazing buffet with all you could wish.
Had a nice stay here it was clean and comfortable. Executive access was ok food ok nothing outstanding. But the service was great..pool area was always busy with many guests occupying prime position all day and they don’t move! One very rude man had daily arguments if anyone dare sit in his sun! Room was ok 👌 needs upgrading. We visited the Sofitel So and wished we had booked a few nights here as well... v trendy and lovely pool area great restaurant as well. Staff do a great job but time for an upgrade of decor..
We stayed 4 nights in Conrad in Executice floor. Room was really nice and bed and pillows need special bonus. Hotels pool area is ok, saddly due the hight rise buildings around it is difficult to see the sun. Pool water is 30 degrees, so it’s ready just to go and no no need for gasps of air for”coldish” water. Pool service people take care of you all the time. 29th floor club area serves really good breakfast with lot to choose. Also evening canapes and drinks are good. Go early if you want to sit in window seats. Hotel offer also shuttle bus service to nearest MRT station Ploen Chit. You can avoid some sweating using this service. On the way bck you just wait at the bus stop and sooner or kater you see white bus to take jo back to Conrad. Service in any level work’s fine in Conrad 5* truly yours. See you next time
Stayed as a family of four.Booked two rooms. Checked in as Hilton Diamond member and was escorted up to executive lounge, given cold towels and drinks while passports were photocopied etc. One room (Mine :-) was upgraded to a huge one bed suite. It was beautiful and very comfortable. We had breakfast in lounge and evening drinks and service was impeccable.Everyone we had contact with was very helpful and went out of their way to help with any questions. The only negative would be the due to the position of the hotel taxis weren’t as easy to get as they should be but only a minor niggle. All in all an excellent hotel in the CBD in Bangkok.
Conrad is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in BKK. My worse experience was when the house keeping used one of my own bags I brought with me to put the rubbish, dirty room service plates and leftover food in it. Then they left it on the floor in my room to stink and rot. I didn't expect they would mix the rubbish from the toilet bin and room service plates together, quite disgusting. Don't your cleaners have their own rubbish bags? Why use my own bag? I put the "Make Up Room" Light on for 1.5 days so they could clear the bag but no one come to clean the room. I called twice but no one answered. Eventually went to the from desk and told them I am really angry and disgusted they put all the trash in my own bag - the women at the desk said "Oh ok." - can't you even say "Sorry"????? Rude, staff here lack basic skills or customer service. I had to go and get the room card fixed once or twice a day... very annoying. Constantly arriving at my room and can't get in. Eventually after the first 4 days of this I just started going to the front desk and asking them to fix it just in case so I don't need to down again and wait forever cause you don't have enough lifts for the hotel size. Always waiting. I booked the hotel through booking.com - I selected the option to "pay on arrival" but then 2 weeks laters you tried to charge the full room on my card. I got an email saying the room is confirmed anyway, but I need to update my billing. I emailed you 3 times in 2 days to mention that I selected to pay on arrival and ask if I I really need to pay now to secure the room. All 3 emails were ignored. Then I get another auto email saying that I need to update my billing again. I called your hotel - the women on the phone said there is no record of my booking and theres nothing she can do. I called again 1 minute later and spoke to someone else - who said there is a record of my booking but the dates are different to what I wanted...... They said they will look in to it and call me back. Well 1 day goes by and no email, no contact. Then I get an email saying my booking is cancelled because I havent paid. I called your hotel again and they said they have a record of my booking and the dates are correct for what I wanted but I need to pay now to confirm it. (why the previous people all have no, or wrong info?????) So I just pay it, which I regret cause the hotel is really average, the rooms are basic and way smaller than what I thought I booked. I booked a suite but I just got a small normal room. The executive level breakfast is basic too, room service was basic, and the restaurant was basic. Conrad normally has great food! But this was really just nothing interesting. The shower had no hot water even when turned to the hottest setting, and the water pressure was really really low. I struggled to get wet in the shower. Will never stay this hotel again, lost all respect for Conrad, and will definitely tell everyone I know never to stay here. Good Points: The gym is great, wifi is really strong. Some staff were great, and really helpful eg when I suddenly had to arrange a birthday cake around 10pm after checking in they recommended some locations which were still open and checked they had stock very quickly.
I recently spent three weeks at the Conrad on an extended business trip. This hotel is a great choice for a range of visits, but I think the level of service for business travelers is absolutely top notch. Staff of the executive lounge were extremely helpful and accomodating. The facilities are ideal for meetings. For those who value some time in the gym, the fitness center is among the best I've seen in hotels in Asia
Very nice rooms. We had a suite that had a beautiful view. The executive lounge has an excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. The shuttle to the Sky Train is good. This is my second stay here, and I would return.
During my recent (first visit) to Bangkok, Thailand I stayed at the Conrad Hotel. I can tell you that the Conrad is a top notch hotel that is clean, has friendly employee's and the view from our 27th floor room was spectacular! I will go back to Thailand and when I do, I will be staying at this Conrad!
Visited Conrad hotel during the new year. Although it’s the most busy season of the year they gave me an upgrade to a corner suite with executive lounge access. Great service specially because I’m not a Hilton member ( should consider it from now on). The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is well maintained and clean, staff at the bar are a bit slow, but who cares it’s a holiday and time enough. Location is great, near some good shopping malls and enough taxis in the area. I can also recommend to use Uber in Bangkok. I haven’t tried the hotel restaurant, but in the area you should try restaurant Savelberg ( fine dining ).
