Hotel ok for the price you pay, breakfast need improving greatly. House keeping wonderful lady name Aumorim in the old part of the hotel. Shopping right at your door. BTS Not far from the hotel. Beds needed to be replace or the cheaper way is to buy pillow top for all. Other than that my room smell like tobacco not happy.
Excellent budget hotel found in Pratunam which is close to the Pratunam market and Indra Shopping mall. We stayed for 14 nights which is more that the average stay in Bangkok and I can say that we had a wonderful stay. Room was serviced on a daily basis and staff mainly the bellboys who were very kind & helpful. Shall definitely stay there again! Hope to see you soon guys and keep up the high level of service.
I'm so disappointed is the hotel is old,bed is not comfortable ,the mattress is sinking,and the toilet s too old type no clean as in pic.The bed got dustmite,im stay one night after body have few red dot,and itchy,im check is because have dustmite bites.Location is not all Uber or taxi go inside,because across have so many night market stall plus the road is so small.No more visit this hotel
I booked 3 hotels room on 12-15 march at Citin Pratunam Bangkok via booking.com 1 superior studio twin (5217) 1 deluxe room with bathtub (6000) 1 family connecting room Total : 22697 baht Confirmation no : 1524507028 Upon checking in we just been informed that deluxe room is located on the other building so we request to downgrade it to superior studio which is located on the same building and same floor level. But what suprised me was, The front desk inform my wife that the price for the superior room and deluxe is the same and we are charged the same amount which is 22697 baht. Means i paid for deluxe room with bathtub for 4 days 3 night but i stay at superior room. And instead of double bed we are given twin bed. Which is ridiculous and unfair for us. Because we are 1) not inform before our visit that the rooms are on the other building and we will be seperated as a family. 2) i booked a double room but was given a twin room. My dad prefer a double bed because its more comfortable and spacious. I was not around on that moment due to we travel on a diff taxi cause of big family. My wife decide to just proceed with the check in due to fatique and she doesnt want to make a big issue due to this. Can i know why we are not charged depending on the room we stay even who we made a last minute changes due to we are not knowing that deluxe room is not in the same bulding as the rest. We requested for 2 babycot but 1 of the babycot given to us is faulty ( 1 of the safely bar is missing ) it can caused danger for my child to sleep on. When i called the guest service center i was told that they only provide 2 babycot and no available babycot for exchange. So for the safety of my baby we decided not to use the babycot given. Lastly the restaurant is on renovation and the breakfast is send to the room. We skip the paid breakfast for the 1st day because our visit to floating market is at 8am. Emailed them a few days back regarding this matter but no reply from them. ---- Location was 50-50. Hard for taxi to enter because is a busy street but its right in the center of the marketplace.
A good budget hotel near the market area. Indira square and flee market is very nearby. Only thing that need be modified is the breakfast menu. Otherwise everything is nice about hotel. Nice and clean rooms.
Just got back from a trip to Bnagkok. Citin Pratunam is a Great hotel to stay if you are in the Pratunam area. Pros: 1. Rooms are clean. 2. Easy access to markets, food, transport, services. Cons: 1. They need to change their breakfast menu as they serve the same menu everyday. It gets boring to eat the same food everyday. 2. More street signs for the location as the Hotel is located at the end of a small alley.
excellent location with many massage parlours nearby that open till late and a 7 eleven too. walking distance to pratunam market, and theres a night market just a street down the hotel. Was served by Prae W at the reception desk and she was very friendly and helpful. Downside is that the wifi is very weak
Room is clean. However, for both of my stay within the week, housekeeping didn't provide toothbrush unless requested . Staff are generally friendly and bubbly, and are able to communicate in english. Cant exactly remember the guy that helped me dragged my luggage from the hotel to the airport link train station. Perhaps his name was "Best". Taking a cab to the hotel during is quite a nightmare. Hotel is located in the heart of the area that is filled with street-food, street-shopping, and walking traffic. It is quite a hassle for vehicles to go in and out of the area. Good local food are everywhere. 24hrs convenience store is about 50metres away. Overall a decent stay, for the price you pay.
Stayed there for 1 night on 24th Nov'2017. Near to metro station. One thing impressed me was honesty and cheerfulness of the staff. Welcomed by the checked in staff by few hindi words. Also forgot my mobile at check-in desk. I didnt knew i left my mobile at check-in desk. However, received call from the desk that my mobile is lying there and she promptly sent the mobile to my room with hotel boys. Breakfast in the morning was so...so..Would love to stay again.
Travelled with 3 middle-aged women who love local food & shopping. They LOVED the surrounding markets, malls & food stalls. The only down side is access to the hotel by transport: not easily accessible from the BTS (it's a weird shortcut that is not easy if you have luggage or shopping bags), and all our taxi & tuk-tuk drivers could not find it (I had to memorise the various turns from the main road, or get dropped off nearby and walk). This is partly because the surrounding streets are mostly one-way, & in the evenings are full of market & food stalls (which are great!) Hotel provides a shuttle service to a nearby BTS station, but you still have to find your way back afterwards . Veggie breakfast provided, and it gets busy with lots of families with noisy young children. Staff seemed grumpy and overworked. Did I mention that the market & food stalls right outside the hotel are GREAT!!!
