Yes, Yes, I would for sure recommend this hotel. The room was very clean, bed was great, pillows good. The breakfast buffet was very good. All of the staff at this hotel were so nice. This is one of those hotels that has really thought things through. They seem to have thought of all the details. Excellent hotel all around. It's about 45 minutes or so from Don Muang airport. Internet was also very good. Nothing negative to report on this hotel.
Had a wonderful stay at this place. Very nice rooms that are air conditioned and well managed. Good staff that are very friendly. However, constantly noisy at around 7am due to chinese tours, suffered from it as i was recovering from jetlag. International food available on request. enjoyed the bar that is created in the car park at night.
Had a wonderful stay at this place. Very nice and respectful staff. Hotel transport to take you to shops and the bank within the vicinity. Shuttles to airport available. However only setback is loud noises from chinese tours every morning, these caused a hard time for me to heal from jetlag.
After traveling 18+hrs to Bangkok, we arrive to the condos to check in, and they inform us they have no information on our reservation. I'm not sure if it was Expedias fault or the hotel's. I had confirmation and proof of payment, yet they were hustling us. We waited an hour while staff was contacting Expedia. Later they apologized and offered us free drink vouchers and a sandwich. The room was clean. The walls are thin so we could hear a lot. The restaurant inside was very good.
A suburban Hotel near Chatachak market, and Don Muang Airport. Difficult to walk any where due to disrepair of pavements around the area. So Transport essential if you don't mind driving in congested streets. We took taxi's, which were easily arranged by the porter's. Unfortunate rule's imposed on all travellers, due to their experiences with the majority of tourist using Cinnamon Residence, who were inexperienced travellers. As the only non Asian tourist, I was offered a freshly cooked omelette, on each morning. This was much appreciated, with the Breakfast buffet being mostly catering to Asian preferences. The room was clean, with all to be expected of this standard of Hotel. The swimming pool was tiny, and in the shade: we did not use it. No dinner service on one night due to wedding party in the restaurant. Walked across the road to a disappointing "Coffee shop", with limited choices.
Not close enough to walk to main city center and tram stations. Not on subway route. Out of the way for most taxis. A lot of privacy if that's what your looking for. Laundry service is expensive. Not hospitably knowledgeable in given suggestions for your visit.
Hotel Room's in very clean and big with the pricing is fair and hotel staff is very helpful. Hotel location in not in the main street so is very quiet but the Room's AC split is very noising and disturbing. You can do test food street in front of hotel and very recommended for the Tom Yam soup with fairly prices. Breakfast menu is standard. The distance to Dong Muang airport is about 45 minutes. Do not forget if you want to buy some alcohol drinks ( beer ,etc )in the minimarts should before 12.00 pm due government regulation.
I'd stayed there with a few other friends in early Feb, nice place generally with friendly staffs. Clean rooms with good enough international channels on TV. Breakfast are not a lot but good enough for a decent breakfast.
We stayed here in June/July of 2013. The general manager set us up with a great apartment style room. Our room, and and others that we looked at were all attractively designed with all the required amenities. Also, the staff were excellent! Everyone we interacted with at this hotel was very nice and treated my family well. I would agree that the hotel isn't conveniently located, but we didn't mind because it was relatively quiet and away from all the touristy areas. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, the availability of public transportation likely is an issue as the hotel is located along a narrow side road. We had family drive us around while in the city, but this area, which is only about 10 minutes from the Don Meuang airport, is a highly congested traffic area. However, if you've ever been in Bangkok, just about every area is highly congested! Overall, the Hotel was affordable, clean, had great A/C and friendly and helpful staff. I've paid far more in the States for much less! If you want to be in the middle of the action and close to shopping and nightlife, choose another hotel. However,if you want a great place to stay with friendly Staff that provides excellent service, by all means, add this hotel to your itinerary!
I stayed at Cinnamon Residence in between flights- one arriving at BKK and the following leaving from DMK. The staff were quick to check me in, and helped carry my luggage to my room. The breakfast buffet is huge, just make sure to get there early to avoid the large Chinese tour groups that come through. One value of this hotel is the free airport shuttle- always a perk to save $ on a taxi. Overall, nice for a quick stopover in Bangkok.
