There’s so much wrong with the hotel I really don’t know where to start. I’ve been living in hotels for over 4 months straight all booked through Agoda and on the wholeI’ve been very satisfied with all of them- Until Now. I paid £65 for 3 nights and the room wasn’t cleaned once. Thick coats of dust layer the shelves and the floor was covered in long black hairs despite staying there alone. Bottled water is supposedly supplied free every day but if they don’t clean your room you don’t get any water so I was limited to 2 bottles for 3 day stay. Water comes in those 10baht glass bottles they use in restaurants. I broke the top off one accidentally and went and gave it the chore lady, thinking nothing more of it. On checkout they charged me 100 bt for the broken bottle. How mean spirited, cheap, nasty and anal can you get? Nothing surpasses the petty minded greed of being made to pay 100bt for a 10bt bottle. Their claim on the Agoda website is that the hotel is 100 meters or 1 minute walk away from the MRT. The hotel is indeed 100 meters from the station as the crow flies but unless you’re a bird or can walk through walls the MRT and hotel are divided by a massive shopping mall, which in REALITY is a 15 trudge away from the hotel. Staff are unfriendly and treat customers with contempt as illustrated above. There are lots of much better hotels in the area such as Blissotel which are infinitely better than this horrid place. I hope this review loses them custom far in excess of the 100 baht they cheated me out of for a bottle with an intrinsic value of one baht. I despise meanness, greed and inhospitality, all the rotten things this hotel exemplifies. The hotel itself is old and worn and in a state of decay from lack of maintenance. That’s down to pathological meanness too. This is the first bad review I’ve left for a hotel among the countless hotels I’ve stopped at over the past 4 and a half months. No doubt they pull these kind of tricks on a frequent basis because they take 1000 baht deposit on check in. I’ve got no problem with that as long as the management are decent and humane. My tip is to read the reviews before booking and don’t say you haven’t been warned. When is Agoda going to allow reviewers to award no stars to reflect the truth?
I stayed at the hotel for just one night but I found it to be okay. For the price, I wasn’t expecting too much. The rooms are old but they have a lot of space. It is in a really good, convenient location. I’d stay again!
The hotel location is very convenient just few minutes walk from Central Plaza and Pharam 9 MRT. Room is very spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant serves good food with a reasonable price. The receptionist/front desk girl on the 20th August afternoon was really polite and customer friendly.
I like this hotel "Centric". It's near by MRT, easy to go anywhere only five minutes by walk. The cleanliness is okay! For the breakfast, I like it! There have standard ABF for you to eat. The waiter in the morning so good, he really friendly and polite!
We stayed there for 2 weeks. The staff are extremely helpful and caring. The room is large, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was an excellent part of our stay. Wifi is everywhere and no problems at all. The hotel is in a perfect spot between the local area and market and the central grand Rama 9 & IT fortune town shopping malls. They will even drop you there in the golf cart! Thanks for a great time, the staff helped us so much.
The best thing about this hotel is the street that it's on. It's a pretty local Thai street, even though most of the people that stay on it are tourists. I've stayed here for a total of 4 months over the years. It's usually pretty quiet, except when they have tour buses of Chinese tourists, usually about once per week, and then the guests run up and down the hall yelling, from 5:30 am to 7:30 am, and then it's pretty quiet the rest of the day. The breakfast is almost as expensive as the hotel, and not worth it. It's right across the street from OK Massage, which is awesome and open late.
Stayed in this hotel for five nights. It is located in the Ratchada area of Bangkok. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that it is close the MRT (Phra Ram 9), two stops from Asoke. The hotel is on a narrow Soi just off Rama 9 , on most nights coming back to the hotel I had trouble explaining to taxi drivers where it was ( nightmare). I payed 1500 baht a night for a room which I honestly think was way overpriced, even though a big and spacious room it didn't feel clean. For the hotels position and what it offers it is not hard to find a far much better hotel easily. I noticed that the hotel did have mostly Chinese guests when I stayed there and I thought it did cater more for them ( no offence), food at breakfast included. Maybe a good hotel for certain people, but for a westerner I think it's a bad choice.
I was booked two nights stay inthis hotel because of good recommendation. But when I checked in to the room, it was older than I expected. A Bed was bad condition. The blanket was dirty, red stain like blood on the sheet. I felt itchy and had rash on my skin when laid down on the bed and had running nose. The room looked clean but i could not breath. So the air must dirty coz i had allergy symtom. I wanted to check out immedietly but it was late night when i checked in and my son asleep. So I told the manager to cancel the second night and ask for refund coz I was sick and wonna move asap. I asked the agent after move out the next morning. The hotel manager denied for refund. So bad and feel bad with this less hospitality. This hotel has HIS gaurantee which for me this credit is untrusted now, low quality property has its brand gaurantee.
HI... we stayed here for 2 nights after being kicked from golden tulip for not having a booking this place is far cheaper to GT.. also it's in close proximity to Central Rama 9 Mall.. just a couple of minutes walk.. interesting thing is that you can take a train and go to chatuchak in just 20 minutes there are lots of places to eat near by.. also the hotel is basic but clean and tidy... what else would a couple want for 1200 bath in bangkok.. I am surely going here again if I go to bangkok.
Stayed there for 01 night after moving from Pattaya. Our group checked in on 8.30 PM & I also impressed this place such as: nice hotel, clean, good working air-coditional, an convenient store s on right hand of hotel. Beautiful location makes this hotel a wonderful place to stay. The buffet breakfast is good option to enjoy them. Over all is acceptable. An important thing that this hotel is free Wifi internet.
