If you're looking for a great location close to shopping, food and massages, this is a good hotel. It's affordable and family friendly. However this hotel has definitely seen better days back in the 90s. We were staying in a family room which comes with 2 large beds. The fixtures in the bathroom are dated. The kitchenette comes with a fridge, a microwave, kettle and sink. But their cleaning is limited, I never felt that our room was cleaned well. Sometimes I had to ask them to change the bedsheets because I felt crumbs when I was laying in it. Breakfast options were decent. If you keep halal then there are a few limited options. The hotel has 2 entrances, so there's a quick side way to go to the main door. The massage place right next to the hotel has a great daytime deal on massages. They have a happy hour discount of 200 Bhai an hour. In summary, this hotel is decent value for money. However if you're looking for a place with similar location but want a more comfortable stay I would go with the Amari Watergate.
We had selected a Deluxe Courtyard suite for our 3 nights stay in June 2017. We were on the 29th floor & had amazing city views from our attached balcony. The attached kitchenette was great with a microwave, hobs, utensils, wash basin, big refrigerator & best of all - a washing machine! The housekeeping was very helpful & gave us washing powder when we asked for some. The room was wonderful with lots of storage. Bathroom was clean, shampoo, lotion & soap were in big glass pump bottles so would not be wasted. The staff at reception was very polite & helpful, so were the doormen. The most amazing part was the free cold water, cold chamomile tea & options for hot tea & coffee that were kept in the hotel lobby for complimentary use by the guests. Very thoughtful & well appreciated. Highly recommended!
We decided to stay in Centrepoint Pratunam for our weekend getaway Bangkok. We were given 2 connecting rooms at 25th floor. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Smooth check-in and check-out. Morning buffet breakfast was okay. The only negative aspect is no hot shower in room 2506. Hope the problem can be resolved.
Got a quad room for 3 pax. The hotel facade (minus the reception area) looked really old and could do with some refurbishing. The toilet door was creaking and had some paint coming off.Throughout our stay there, even though we requested housekeeping daily, the chambermaids merely replenished all our towels and water bottles, all the bedsheets/pillow cases were NOT changed and were only repositioned neatly to look like it was changed but it wasn't. I knew it was the same old bedsheets from day 1 because there were 2 holes on the bedsheet and I was staring right at it every single night. Clumps of hair were found under the bedside table when I checked in remained there till check out day. Travellers generally come back late every night and would want to jump to bed to sleep after a long day of hard shopping so perhaps that's why the hotel staffs thought they could get away with an easy job. *shrugs* Swimming pool was horribly small that it only takes 7 strokes to reach the other end for a 5′ 1″. Hotel was nonetheless strategically located near platinum mall and had rows of massage shops lining just outside the hotel. Not staying here again, there are definitely better choices in the area.
Third stay here, love the location, just around the corner from the Pratunam market. Area has been cleaned up and they have reduced the pedestrian congestion as a result. Hotel is clean, room huge - contains mini kitchen with all utensils you need. Microwave, fridge etc. Bed comfortable. Can open window to get fresh air when it cools down which is a great plus.
Book 2 twin rooms for our family. The room is one of the biggest I've stayed in Pratunam. Each room has 2 queen size beds and bath tubs. Opposite is just the IT mall, and Platinum Mall. Besides the hotel has many massage places. Very convenient for food, shopping and massage. Breakfast was good, I like their clear tom yam soup. They have a mini playground for young children as well. Lobby has refreshments for guests too. The only con is the water temperature when showering. Temperature is not constant .It could become so hot and then cold again. Other than that, overall is a great stay.
We stayed at this hotel after reading many positive reviews. This hotel turned out to be an excellent choice for us, who were first time visitors to Bangkok. We stayed for six nights. It was a mother/daughter trip. We wanted to shop so this hotel was perfectly located with a side door that leads to Petchburi Road. We forwent breakfasts at the hotel because we knew we could get better street breakfasts. Stay at this hotel if you want to shop, shop, and shop. The nearest BTS station Ratchathewi is a 15-minute walk. Under the scorching sun, that walk is agonising. Fortunately, taxis and tuk-tuks are abound. And taking the Bangkok Skywalk will take you to malls like Siam Paragon, Central World, Siam Center/Square, the Big C, Erawan Shrine, etc. The covered skywalk is safe and pleasant. It is connected to the Platinum Mall on the 2nd floor. As far as members of the staff are concerned, they could be friendlier. Several of the concierge were friendly enough and we appreciated that. The counter staff, however, could be more sincere and helpful. I spoke to a few who were unhelpful and curt. When asked what was the best way to get to a destination, the answer was always "by taxi" even though it was during peak time. Another gripe is the temperamental water temperature. We stayed at room 1001. I hope it is fixed because I read the same complaint by other guests. Aside from that, we had a pleasant six nights. I will stay here again and I do recommend this hotel.
This hotel has big room with 2 x King size bed. Definetly good for family or goup of 4 pax. Shopping mall just opposite the road and nice food around the hotel. A few Massage center just at the door step, good for after long day busy shopping to massage your leg and foot at very cheap price.
Hotel is situated in the centre shopping areas, women loved this area lot of clothing shopping and food. Walking to Central World was so cool with cover walkway different from two years ago. You can walk all the to Science Center fully covered from rain and sunshine. Hotel staff was friendly, room spacious and clean. Hotel lobby waiting area comfortable with small table with coffee, tea n cold drinks available. After a long walk it was a welcome sight. Highly recommended.
Ones i reach the place i always feel like home as i am being warmly welcome and the service is in the top service that a customer can get, the room is big and tidy and the view is good and its near to shopping malls and night market its a hotel that you will not regret staying.
