Very impressed with the hotel service. I'm a traveller with no credit card upon booking, it strike my mind that a hotel needed a credit card for deposit and I emailed the hotel to inform I have no credit card, I am surprised that I received the reply within a few hours and they gave me the options to make a deposit with my country currency which is good because I see no point in receiving back Thai baht upon check out, very accommodating. Check in was hassle free and fast, was invited to take a a seat while they process the check in and was served with drinks whole waiting. The hotel Staff speaks very good English and communication was not a problem at all! Very impressed with the hotel room as well, clean and modern design, bath room was big although there was no bathtub. Amenity was well prepared. Breakfast was fabulous with so many variety! Overall stay was very pampered and comfortable. One of the downside is that some of the taxi driver do not know the hotel well, and tends to losr their way but with Google map everything is can be solve too. I really enjoyed my stay here and definitely will come back to this hotel when I'm in Bangkok!
My friends and i had experienced key card problems upon check in and had to go down to front desk several times to re-program the card. In the end the duty manager came up with us to investigate the problem, issue was due to door lock battery. Initially we were upset about the arrival experience as it caused a delay in our itinerary for the day. However we do understand that such hiccups can happen to other hotels. Duty manager was apologetic and sent a fruit bowl as a form of apology. The rest of our stay had been very pleasant, we are thankful for the complimentary birthday cake for my friend's birthday and a very thoughtful birthday card that was signed by the management team. As we had an evening flight on the last day in BKK, we were granted late checkout so that we can have more time to rest in the hotel. We just want to say a big Thank you to the friendly and helpful team who assisted us during our stay fr 8-13 sep, room 1226 & 1215!
Stayed 3 nights, mixed experience based on unfortunate 2nd night where room lights went crazy going on and off in the middle of the night. At 4am and after previous attempt to repair the room activation sensor we were finally moved rooms. Things like this can happen, my issue was that I requested 1st to move rooms but was told none available. Only on 2nd complaint was one found. My 2nd issue was one of consideration for the inconvenience. We were given a bowl of peanuts and some cake. Perhaps offering a free breakfast in bed would have been more appropriate given we got to sleep at 5am and our following day in bkk was messed up. Finally no mention was made to the issue when checking out, more important for the hotel was making sure we were charged the 60bhat for a snack we consumed in the first room. Aside from this incident, the hotel was very nice, great location, tasty room service food and rooms and facilities were good. Sky bar lovely to experience and with happy hour.
I have always choose to stay at the Pratunam area as it is convenient to access most of the shopping locations. My first time at centara watergate and was quite satisfied with how the stay went. The staffs at level 1 has always greeted us with smiles even when we came back as late as 2am. Welcome drinks & cold towels were provided after we were directed to the sitting area while waiting for the staff to check us in. We set our eyes on the outdoor resting "pool" area which was really gorgeous. We took our time to take photos here after checking out on the last day. The room itself was not the widest tbh, but it contains of all the necessities you will need. After 5 days we have really limited space due to all the purchases we got (which was common if you are in bkk to shop). One thing I have to mention was the design of the platform under the round sofa. The diameter of the platform is almost 5cm longer than the base of the sofa which causes all of us (4) to kick it accidentally a few times since the room was small. Location: - 3 mins walk to Talad Neon / Pratunam Market (across the street) - There's a shopping mall directly under which has agencies we booked our Hua Hin tour with - 5 mins walk to Platinum Mall - 10 mins walk to Big C / Central World - nearest BTS (~15/20mins walk)
Great location for shopping, extremely friendly & helpfull staff with good English speaking skills. Room was very comfortable & well kept during our stay. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from train services, plus large range of shops/shops close by.
This hotel is located near the popular shopping district of Bangkok. There are no short of restaurants around the hotel. Hotel's staffs are generally friendly, public areas are clean, elevators are relatively fast and effective. Room is clean but abit too small. The position of water tap at the basin area lacks consideration. Housekeeping is good. Overall quite a comfortable stay at this hotel.
We stayed here only for one night before leaving Bangkok. The staffs here (doorman and front desk) are super nice and helpful. We arrived way early before regular check-in time, but front desk staff, Kiwi (I promised I will mention his name in my review, 😙), let us check-in early without additional charge and also upgraded our room to Deluxe (awesome!!). So we can put all our things in the room and then go out to explore the city. The room is very comfy and clean. Breakfast is good with plenty choices of foods, still can be better of the tastes. But overall quality is good, we had a relaxed morning there. Traffic and location are good well. A bit far from BTS, about 15 mins, but very closed to the station to Airport express, only 5 mins of walking. Very convenient to Airport without worrying about the bad traffic in Bangkok when taking a taxi. Airport express is cheap and fast, about 20 mins to BKK. Definitely recommend this hotel to ppl. I will stay in this hotel next time for sure.
The highlight of this hotel has got to be the chic rooftop bar which is fantastic for getting cute Instagram pictures with the lounger beds and a cocktail. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a white minimalist aesthetic. Good location to catch the MRT to/from the airport (which only costs 45 BHT!!!) at Ratchaprarop station. Much easier than getting a taxi driver to find the hotel as it is not street front.
Me and my partner arrived at Centara Watergate late and Kiwi helped us checked in and has kindly upgraded us a one bedroom suite. Check in was done with ease and minimal waiting time. The room is nice and the bathroom is clean. (That is very important!) Its within walking distance to Erawan and Platinium mall. There are lots of massage places along the street located just outside the hotel and a 7/11. Do get a name-card from the counter to show taxi drivers where the hotel is because it can be hard to find.
The hotel is spacious and we (3ppl) stayed in a deluxe room. The staff are really friendly and they will joke around to brighten our day. The cons is that the hotel is on the pricey side and the lobby is hidden at one side.
