I stayed in One Bedroom Platinum for 3 days and this hotel made me feel like home. The room was very clean and spacious with washing machine in the room. This hotel located near Chidlom skytrain station only 5 mins. walk and it was very convenience for me to travel in Bangkok as the traffic was very bad during my stay. Also there are a lot of restaurant and convenience store around just a short walk. The tree line and canel in front of the hotel are very beautiful. The staff was very helpful and smiley. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I will come back for sure!!
Spent 6 nights in a Platinum 1 Bedroom Apartment on the 12th Floor overlooking the Dutch embassy grounds. The rooms are very quiet, comfortable and extremely generous in size. Air conditioning and Wifi were fine. Location is excellent only a few minutes walk from Chidlom BTS railway station along with close proximity to shopping centres and a big variety of restaurants. Staff were nothing short of exceptional. Happy, friendly and eager to assist with inquires. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from, eggs cooked to order. Housekeeping was very good, the room was always spotless following their visit. I found this hotel very good value and will be returning. .
Just returned from our 7th stay Suwan Park View since 2003 and although we've been loyal and loved the hotel, since our last stay in 2014, the hotel needs investment! It is still well located very close to BTS and the various Central Malls but is now "tired"! We were upgraded on request to a Platinum 1 bed suite as we knew that these suites have a walk in shower. The suites finally have flat screen TVs, if a little small! When the AC is off, our suite, 805 had a nasty drain like smell on entry. The aircon reduced this but this was the first time we'd experienced this. The reception and lift upgrades are very nice but the floors and suites are now well worn. In 2003, the kitchen was well equipped with a number of useful utensils and crockery. This year it was noticeable that there were very few. A kettle is welcome for westerners but that is the upgrade! Breakfast used to be served in a glass room next to the pool on the 5th! This was always pleasant and the breakfasts were good. Sadly, this room is now closed and the breakfasts are served in the Pines Restaurant on the 4th. This is a very soulless room with no decor and scant views. The staff are still very helpful but we found the food choices were few, especially for western tastes and hot food rarely was! The fruit juices are poor quality flavoured drinks and the coffees cold! Made to order egg choices are are available and that is a plus. The hotel seems to be attracting corporate events and these filled the breakfast room to the detriment of paying guests! A poor move Bliston! The pool area is still very much the same as in 2005 on. It is quiet and inviting but the mens shower room at least needs a full makeover! Dark, uninviting and poor shower and shower mixer. We had a problem with the AC controls and the washer/dryer during our visit and although reception attended to these issues quickly they could be avoided by providing guests with some user guides. The Hotel documentation is woefully out of date! The kitchen layout is awful with it being impossible to open 2 cupboard doors as they hit other doors or appliances. The sink is in a corner and is manageable for 2 weeks but not for any longer! Who designed this layout? In summary, great location and helpful staff but losing the race to keep up with other hotels and suites in the area. After 7 stays we have concluded that we will not stay again and it was sad making that decision. Come on Bliston, you can do better but you need to invest and update!
My stay at this hotel was wonderfull; the staff was very friendly and professional, they will answer my questions at all times no matter if it was the morning crew or afternoon crew they always greeted me with smile. The rooms are clean.
The location of Bliston is excellent. Close to all the Embassies and to Chidlom BTS. Central Chidlom Department Store is just a stone´s throw away. The staff are competent and helpful. Requests are carried out promptly and efficiently. The breakfast is adequate. The room is spacious and house keeping very good. The pool area is nice and there is a gym and sauna/steam bath. We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.
Wonderful Staff Makes It Feel Like Home Stays 3 nights, 10th floor. Room was good and clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast. I’d have given 4 stars. Useful location, helpful and friendly staff, rooms clean. Walking distance to all the key areas and restaurants. Good value. Impressive with breakfast.
Stayed for four nights in Jan 2018. Pros - location, near transit, shopping, friendly staff, great breakfast, spacious rooms Cons - air flow in room poor, we all had dry coughs, stairways are locked - huge fire hazard, Internet is VERY spotty and slow
Thought it would be nice to return to the Bliston after a long time especially since we heard some of the rooms were renovated so we booked ourselves into the platinum 1-bedroom with washer/dryer for 8 nights. Location of this apartment hotel is excellent. It is a 2 minute walk to Chidlom skytrain station. You just have to walk along a narrow sidewalk next to a storm drain which kind of smells like sewer sometimes but it's not that bad. You only have to walk about a minute along there before you cross the street and get to the skytrain station. Hold your breath or breathe out of your mouth. The room was alright. I expected fancier but the bathroom was kind of run-down. There was a long black hair on the bathtub ledge and the top of the bedsheets, there was a grey smear of dirt or grease on the outside. We paid about 113 US dollars per night. Read the welcome binder for Bliston Suwan and what was interesting is the part about recommending to tip housekeeping but not necessary. That was something new to see. Housekeeping came in daily and did an ok job but kept missing the massive hair ball on the bathroom floor. Staff are courteous and warm. Hmm.... would we stay here again? Probably not unless I was able to book the platinum room for 70-80 US a night.
me and my family love this hotel. great place to stay and easy to access. will come back on the next trip.Room are clean, bed and pillow just nice for me.... and more space for 3 of use.nice comfortable sofa.
This is my second time stay in this hotel and I felt very warm welcome here. The staff was polite and always smile. The lobby hotel was renovated and it looked great!! Very modern style yet feel comfortable. Hotel location is the best, very close to BTS just 5 mins walking but located not in a busy street also close to shopping mall. I will choose to stay here again next time I visit Bangkok.
