We found the Bangkok Patio Apartments online when looking for something close to Mo Chit bus station. It looked ok online but in reality it was much lovelier. The reception was very simple but it works. The room sizes were a pleasant surprise and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had plenty of space in the living area and thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and relaxation space. We ordered meals from the room service menu. They were more expensive than street food however the meals were fresh and tasty. We were grateful for this affordable and central find. Even the train and BTS were only 67 baht per person from Sivanhabumi airport. I would recommend this hotel/apartment for a pleasant and affordable place to stay, not too far from the hussle and bustle of Bangkok.
We stayed here when we visited Bangkok for a couple of days - it was fantastic!! The overall facilities are very good, everything you could want/ need - granted we spent very little time in the apartment. However, it was clean and tidy and what we needed was there! There was ample water in the fridge for you, and there was always a selection of a quick snack (noodles if I recall correctly). The WIFI is very good! It is located in close proximity to the major attractions, and the tram line is very close - the property offered a complimentary transfer to (and from I believe) the tram up to a specific time. We booked a show through the premises and a taxi back to the airport - both very extremely good value! One observation is, some taxi drivers don't know where it is (so they say) or find it hard to locate - I couldn't hold this against the property though! We plan to go back with out son next year, we are really looking forward to it.
Apartelle style with very spacious rooms and typical household amenities like kitchen, a sofa and widescreen tv. Our room also has a balcony and large windows overlooking Bangkok's cityscape which is very modern yet surprisingly very peaceful and quiet. The restroom is quite small in comparison with the whole room but it is clean and efficiently functional. No free breakfast though, but with a lot of streetfoods and restaurants available within the area, it more than suffices a homey feeling. Staff is still very accommodating despite the language barrier but would definitely recommend this for couples and general travellers as well.
I stay here in November - 2016. Very nice room and they have laundry room on the 2nd floor (if I still remember it's correct). If you come with friends or family this should be a nice place to stay over.
We stay one night at Bangkok Patio and love the hotel. Hotel provide free Tuk Tuk service to BTS until 10pm.Room is spacious with balcony attached.Clean and Comfy Bed.Worth for the price we paid for.Staffs are friendly and attentive.Quite lane and environment and we like to stay again.
Reached the place and found out that it is very secluded, quite suitable for people who do not want to be disturbed by the noises the busy areas would be creating. When we checked in, the receptionists are very professional and also escorted us to the room. Do note that they do not clean your room everyday; it's a 2 day clean once policy in their establishment. The apartment itself feels cosy, and they even have a small balcony attached with it. The view was stunning even though we stayed at the 5th floor. There are street foods located outside, and since the hotel only provides food by a delivery service, I highly recommend you to walk out of the apartment and walk to the street foods stalls to get your breakfast fix. Do note they open till afternoon only! There is a tuktuk service the establishment offers, and they will bring you out to the roadside where you can walk to the train station, less than 5 minutes away. I would also recommending taking the train all the way, as tuktuks are great transportation means, but only if you can bargain to your desired price. Overall this establishment, definitely a worth it place to go! The hospitable receptionists are very professional and won't hesitate to answer any questions you will have!
It was my short family vacation this march. We booked the 2 bedroom suite apartment. We were at the six floor. And you may find your own kitchen, large fridge, cool a/c and laundry room at the second floor and a sauna on third floor. Since this is very short visit. I could not said much. But the staff was friendly and always smiling. Tuktuk service available to take you to the nearest sky station or local market nearby with no charge. They also have a swimming pool which once again i didn't try due to lack of time. But I definitely will come back. All my family like it here. Feels like home though.
my family and I are from Singapore and we went to Bangkok for a five-day trip. We were quite impressed by this place. the room is very clean and water is provided. the air conditioning is also superb. the towels are replaced daily but room cleaning is only once in two days, but that was fine for us. there is also a free ride to the nearest BTS station by the hotel (via tut tut), where a 7-11 is closely located. this makes it quite convenient if you're travelling by BTS, but it is also not that far if you're walking from the Sanam Pao station back to the hotel (5-7 min). the ladies we met at the reception were also very helpful and polite. the only downsides are probably that the heater in one room isn't very stable, and that the wifi is only stable and strong in the living room. if you're looking for a short getaway and do not desperately need wifi, this hotel should definitely be a good stay.
Located on a quiet side street away from the hussel and bussel of Bangkok. No complaints about anything. Plain and simple with everything you need right next to the BTS. Cheaper than other hotels right next door with same amenities. Highly recommended.
Very impressed with Bangkok Patio! My boyfriend and I were actually only in Bangkok for one night before flying back to England so just needed somewhere fairly cheap and well located. We booked a king size room but when we checked in we were advised we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment free of charge as they didn't have a king size room available - worked out well for us!!! The location is great - it's about a 5 minute walk from Sanam Pao BTS station (exit 3!) which is only 2 stops down from Phaya Thai (where you can get the airport link train from). The hotel offers a free shuttle pick up/drop off to the BTS station which is a nice touch but it really isn't far to walk. The facilities were so good - nice fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, huge bed, tv in living room and bedroom and a safe. Considering the price we paid (about £30) we were very impressed and would consider this hotel if we stayed in Bangkok in the future, particularly for the self catering option!
