My husband and I just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Breakfast has an extensive choice, staff are efficient and friendly, location is fantastic (close to BTS Thonglor). After many stays here, I've come to realise how uncomfortable the pillows are for sleeping. The beds are great though. I hope that the management includes a better pillow selection for guests as currently it's either too soft feather pillows, or a rock hard foam pillow. The rooms can get noisy because of the main street and lifts, but if you are a light sleeper, make a request for a more quiet room and your request will be taken into account. I was really looking forward to staying here, however the welcome we received on arrival was nothing short of insulting. Since the merger of SPG and Marriott I thought it would be nice to stay in a Marriott again. Prior to my arrival I amended the number of guests online and via the app with the hotel but this did not appear to have updated on their system. On arrival the person behind the counter did not accept that I was a Gold Elite member notwithstanding the confirmation email for my reservation and me also showing him on the Marriott app. He then understood it was an SPG match and I was then asked to produce my SPG details to show that I was a Gold Elite member. After a few minutes of me searching on my phone he said it was alright. The room was well appointed but noisy due to it facing onto Sukumvhit albeit it was on a high floor. At this stage I decided to check out and returned to reception. I explained to the lady that I was not happy with the welcome I received and that the room was noisy and thus would prefer to check out and move to another hotel. In fairness she did apologise and showed me two other rooms. We stayed the night and had a great nights sleep. Notwithstanding, I still felt quite annoyed about the experience on arrival and decided to move to another hotel. I understand that the hotel was busy, and this is always a good complaint to have, however it shouldn’t impact the welcome that guests receive.

A great hotel with a fabulous 57th Street (ground floor) restaurant, executive lounge, pool and fitness center. Additionally, they have a rooftop restaurant and Octave lounge that are noteworthy. The staff was very attentive and highly professional. The 57th Street restaurant featured various quality buffets and the manager Kun Jeab and her team (Kun Panda, Pookie, Bella, Hook, Bank, Eye and Yui ) afforded the highest level of service. These efforts easily distinguished this hotel as a top facility in Bangkok.

My family and I have stayed here twice this year: in April, and again in November. Overall, this hotel is in a great location for exploring (a 5 minute walk from the Sky Train), and, based on the prices I paid 6 months in advance, it will be harder to find better value for the money. It is modern and the staff, like at most Marriott properties, is terrific. But there are a few areas that fell short, so I'm knocking off a star to give this a rating of 4 out of 5. One of the things that fell short was that I was in a noisy room. It was facing the Sukhumvit / Thong Lor side, on a lower floor, so the street noise was noisy. It was also next to the elevators. Those express elevators emit a whirring "WHOOSH!" when they pass by, which can get pretty annoying when you're trying to sleep. The Marriott was able to accommodate my complaint and switch us to a different room, away from the elevators and facing away from Thong Lor, which solved that problem. But if you are a light sleeper, be aware. Very noticeable was that in the 7 months that had passed since our first stay, the rooms and hotel were clearly worn down. Lots of knicks, tears, stains that couldn't / wouldn't be removed, and so forth. Not just in the rooms, but in the common areas as well. If you are a gold or platinum member, the benefits are mixed. You will get access to the club floor, and you will get 2-3 pieces of laundry cleaned or pressed for free each day. There is no dedicated check in counter, and they did appear to upgrade the room (and I know they were available, because I checked the internet -- both before I initially checked in, and when we switched rooms). The internet is free for everyone, and it only comes at one speed: meh. All other Marriott's that I have stayed in this year offered a basic free internet, or high speed internet at a price (though free for gold / platinum members). The slow internet in the room could get frustrating. The lounge is great for breakfast, and pretty decent for dinner -- but beware the dinner hours, because it gets crowded very quickly and there were always people waiting for a seat (though given how BKK is such a foodie town, why would you want to eat dinner in the lounge?). My last note about the lounge: I wish the staff would enforce the dress code. Specifically, if someone shows up wearing a tank top and shorts, dripping in sweat, they should be politely asked to leave and return after they've cleaned up. But please don't let these criticisms hinder you from staying here. It is still a great value, and a great location. We will stay here again.

We had a late check-in. Our room wasn't ready yet but the front desk staff did provide us complimentary food & drinks while we waited. Also upgraded us to executive service (breakfast at the executive lounge, laundry, etc.). The concierge staff was super helpful and friendly in helping us plan our itinerary in Bangkok. I was limited in money and rushing to the airport when I departed. The hotel helped me find a taxi with a flat rate of 400 baht going to the airport. An Uber around noon was 800 baht due to high demands!

Stayed here for one day with my wife. The hotel itself is located about 200 m walk from the BTS station. Great pool area, clean, great gym. Everywhere you walk the workers there greet you, open doors for you, always smiling. One of the things that stands out is the executive lounge. I am both Platinum at Marriott and SPG. The lounge at this hotel is impressive. It features a breakfast, an afternoon coffee and snacks (1430-1730) and a coctail and appetizers in the evening. During all these times, the hotel serves a many varieties of different dishes, desserts and drinks in the lounge. It is one of the best executive lounges I have stayed at both for food and customer service. Very impressive!

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel while on a business trip. The hotel of excellent quality. Clean, spacious rooms. Good bed. Great bath/shower area. Wifi works very well in the hotel. Staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I ordered room service and it arrived fairly quickly, within 30 mins and the food was good and price was very reasonable! Breakfast buffet serves both western and Asian food and is very extensive. It may be at an extra cost, but again reasonably priced. Getting a taxi in the morning is a bit hit/miss as traffic is very heavy in front of the hotel. Suggest to pre-book an Uber or other taxi for a certain time. Hotel is close to a railway station, so that is another option. Rooftop restaurant was excellent, great views, good food and great staff. I would definitely stay again!

Well located Hotel near the BTS station. Great bathrooms and very modern. The rooftop bar is fantastic with incredible views. A must to visit. Concierge services were really attentive and they went out of their way to help. Highly recommended

Although I don't think it's in the ideal location, this is a fantastic hotel! The rooftop bar is the best in Bangkok, the Executive Lounge is one of the best I've ever been to, and the rooms themselves are amazing! Great bath / shower combo. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I will for sure stay here next time I'm in Bangkok.
