The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment and renovation. The sewer smell is very strong coming from the toilet. However, it is still the most convenient hotel in sala daeng/silom at the heart of nightlife.

Location! Right out the door you can connect to the subway, elevated train, and busses or taxis. Walk to a shopping mall in 5 min. for everything you need from groceries to apparel to scores of sit down dining of all levels.. as well as more of the same along Silom road.

The young girl at the reception was bending her way to help me when I asked for a bowl for my dinner. That was a surprised. I am sorry for didn't ask for her name. That's what I call customer service.

Upgraded hotel but in need of some maintenance. You can't beat the location. right by the skytrain with a mall across the road. Short walk to the metro. Lobby is small and dark but service excellent. Room modern but some items in need of repair. A bit noisy up to 2.00 am from traffic etc. Best of all the air conditioner control WORKS in this hotel unlike many others that freeze you to death!!

It is really near the BTS and DJ Station (if u r choosing this hotel because of this) But The front desk is too small to feel weird. Every night, there are many street vendors will block the door of the hotel. this is the main reason I dont like it. Moreover, the room is kinda old and dark. The supply of electricity of the plugs are not stable. The first night, my room doesnt even have a window. It makes me feel really uncomfortable. Although, the second day, they help me to change the room with windows. But it still doesnt feel comfortable.

Stayed many times before. Great location for Silom area. Very easy to get to on the train.

I have stayed here more than a dozen times in the last 10 years because of the location. Still great at the BTS Silom station with Central Shopping Center across the street and a vibrant night life. The smell of urine in the bathroom present in my last three visits in different rooms indicates a systemic problem. Rooms without windows should not be charged at the same rate as rooms with. And some hotels have a difficult time keeping folks from smoking - the smell permeated the floor....

Hotel was in busy area, big mall across the street, with both the overhead and underground light rail stations in front of property. Nice big room, very friendly and helpful staff. Night life and night markets right there.

Great location to transport to sky train & underground metro and other local sights

Very good location. Close to everything. Friendly staff. If u dont expect much then this is the place to stay

The hotel was very nice and the room was very clean. Staff was always helpful and friendly. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of Silom. It's a short walk to the famous Soi Patpong, an even shorter walk to the main gay street Soi 4, and the hotel is literally next to Soi 2, the main gay club street. D Varee Diva is an excellent choice for gay travelers who want to be in the middle of everything. Though the hotel is in the heart of Silom, it's still a family friendly place. This is not the kind of hotel where people are coming and going throughout the night. Despite being in a busy area and near some clubs, the rooms are still quite quiet. The hotel is also about a 2 minute walk from both the BTS skytrain and the MRT subway, so it's easy to get anywhere you want in the city. Overall this was a great value and a great place to stay, I would absolutely stay here again!

Under Bts Saladaend so easy to move around.. food and shopping jus outside the hotel, only the hotel is next to Soi (land) which has few clubs next .. can be disturbance if u r a light sleeper coz club closed at 2-3am. otheriwise its was ok.. but the hotel getting a bit dated

This place is in Silom, the hip fun area of Thailand. It's smack bang on the corner of a very famous lane, Soi 2. Soi 2 has a few gay clubs, so it's not uncommon for the music to be blaring past 3AM on any given Friday/weekend night. The room was kind of small, just a bathroom and a double bed with a small foyer. It was very pretty clean and all, but the let down was just the proximity to the club. So in summary, only stay at this place if you're one of these club go-ers, else you won't be getting any sleep.

If you are a family travel, should not choose this hotel because night club next door. Very noisy at night time.

Staff were very helpfull and friendly. Location was perfect right next to mrt and bts station. Breakfast was a belly full. Downfall walls are paper thin you heard all of your surroundings.

The place is amazing... I always stay here every time I am in Bangkok... Very convenient to major centers and fun. The staff are fiendlyl the place is clean and very well maintained.... Breakfast is phenomenal.
