We only stay for 1 night on the way back from Pattaya. The service was very friendly. We had been upgraded from studio room to 1 bedroom suite. I am really appreciate indeed. The room is huge with kitchen and living room and bedroom which separate the bathroom room and walk in wardrobe by slicing door. We love the layout of the room. The breakfast is basic but functional. We will definitely return.
We arrived with a car, parking lots are available. We were upgraded by a very friendly and perfect english speaking reception crew from a studio to a suite and were really overwhelmed by the size and perfect furniture of this huge rooms. TV in living area with leather sofa, 50 inch TV in sleeping room. Entrance to shower from living room or from wardrobe, extreme big safe box (good to store a laptop). The kitchen is equipped with all necessary, also cups, a kettle, microwave and and and. Well situated very near the Lumpini Park (5 mins to wals over a bridge) and surrounded by bangkoks skyline. Aslo very near (10 mins to walk) to the german embassy. The price for that quality is surprisingly low....for sure this will be my number one hotel in bangkok!!
Had a fantastic stay at Baan K. Close to the underground. Easy to get to the airport. Room was neat & clean. Loved the bed. very friendly and helpful staff. Room has everything you need. Will definitely stay there again.
I chose Baan K because of its proximity to the main Sathorn Road and Silom but it was not too close to the madding crowd. The staff are quite friendly, though less so than the previous time I visited. I really liked the fact that logging on to the wifi network did not require a password and the network strength was decent. The room was quite spacious and comfortable though it would have been good to power sockets near the mirrors for the hair dryer. There's no option for room service -- you have to go to nearby restaurants if you're feeling peckish. Breakfast was pretty basic. The nearest 7-Eleven was a 1-2-minute walk away, which was convenient. I didn't use the laundry room but I think some travellers would appreciate it. The tuk-tuk shuttle was not available while i was there.
The room was spacious, enough room for kids to play. I read from Tripadvisor about free upgrade (which was the actual reason that made me chose the hotel), but don't think that it's real since we didn't get any offer for upgrade, the front office lady didn't even mention anything about free upgrade. Well, that's fine coz we found out the the room we rented was big enough for 2 adults & 2 kids. The staffs were on some kind of outing event during 8-9 July, so the service wasn't at maximum, even no free shuttle during our stay. On 11 July, after the event was ended, we still couldn't get free shuttle coz the tuk tuk was broken. Maybe it's just our bad luck... The staffs were lack of English, not easy for us to communicate & ask for help, so we just browse things by ourself. The front office lady was actually very polite & tried to be helpful, but we just lost in communication. The cafe seems empty & not operating duting our stay, maybe all the guests prefer to walk around & find food outside. By the way, there's 7-Eleven on the corner of the street, which make it easy for us to find drinks & snacks. The breakfast was quite good, but very limited choice, maybe it's better called as morning bite. And the toddlers have to pay about $4 for the breakfast, which was okay for us. There's self-laundry room which provide washing machine & dryer for guests, we didn't use it, but if you plan to stay long, it will be very helpful.
I booked last minute due to a change of plans. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk kindly gave us an upgrade at no charge. The hotel room looked like an apartment. Kitchen, large dressing room and bed room. Really a great place to stay.
We knew nothing about Bangkok other than what we researched. I trusted the reviews and am NOT disappointed. Bangkok is such an intense city (we love it!), so after a day of walking around and sight-seeing, Baan K is in a perfect location away from all the noise with a more local feel--also, a wonderful massage spot is across the street. Stay here, you will not regret it.
We stayed at Baan K for 4 nights while in Thailand for our anniversary. Because of this they upgraded us to a bigger room and decorated our bed with rose petals, it was such a lovely touch. The room was very clean, made up everyday with fresh towels, new toiletries, swept/mopped floors and fresh bottled water in the fridge. The clean aircon rooms were the perfect place to cool down after a day of exploring busy Bangkok. The staff were really friendly and gave excellent customer service. Any questions we had about what activities to do or how to get somewhere were answered very comprehensively. The hotel location is very central to Silom, with 7/11 and local food stalls practically on its doorstep. The metro and markets are easy walking distance, and the hotel offers free transfers to the sky train. There is also a beautiful park just the other side of the road which has lots of great walks and interesting wildlife (loads of water monitors!). The only negatives I have, if I am being very picky, is that the couch in the room wasn't very comfortable; it was leather (not great when hot and sticky) and quite hard. Also the breakfast is fine, but often the hot food (rice, meats and eggs) was actually luke warm. That being said the negatives are easily overlooked because of the great customer service, cleanliness and central location. I would recommend and stay again.
Had a great first visit to Bangkok which was made even better by the location of the Baan K and the staff that worked there. The residences are located in the suburbs of Bangkok which has some great eateries and great local people. The neighborhood was close to many of the transport links and was literally a stones throw from Lumpini park (well worth a visit). The residences were clean, spacious and well maintained and the staff were courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. The free buffet breakfast was a nice start to a busy day. The free use of the tuk tuk enabled quick access to the surrounding areas and was a real bonus.
nice place ,excellent services .Gave free upgrade for my family .very clean and well equipped. value for money. good for family Offer free tuktuk rides to & from there to BTS and MRT. I recommend here.
