This is not my first time in this hotel and admirably, the hotel maintained their standard. Old style hotel but upgraded amenities. Accessibility was the first consideration, being attached to BTS. Some of our friends used the train from the airport. The restaurant offers a well priced buffet. In my case, a sentimental value as we spend a good week here with our parents way back in 2005.
This hotel start with nicely staff and quite good service.Even room was a bit old but it is very facility for travel meeting and shopping, so over all this hotel is good. I will come back again next month I will take my famiy coe as well.
The hotel's main selling point for us is the proximity to a BTS station, in fact the hotel is directly linked to the station. Within walking distance is the Siam shopping belt and Pratunam shopping area. There is also a Tesco Lotus within 15minutes of walk, or 5 minutes by hired bike. Street food lining the road in front of the hotel at night. Though has undergone superficial renovation, the room show signs of age. We got a room with a faulty drainage pipe at the bathtub. Disappointing selection of TV channel, but not a deal breaker. The toilet comes with a drinking water dispenser. Lobby has a Naraya Shop. Overall a good choice.
Fist time for me here. This hotel is very facilitiy to travel and shopping in Bangkok becuse it is near shopping mall, easy to go to JJ market.Even hotel sevise is not goog enough but it is ok for price 2300 pernigt.
This hotel is in a central location, close to shopping and eateries and has good inhouse dining (we ate at both the buffet, for breakfasts, and the Vietnamese on the second floor, which was fantastic). Staff were attentive, under very trying circumstances - this hotel is BUSY, with many tour groups. On the downside, this hotel really needs a renovation, as mentioned in other reviews. The room we stayed in was ok, but the hotel overall has definitely seen better days.
Hotel location is great - close to train / metro service - directly connected to station. Walking distance to MBK centre - great for shopping - also has a food hall - Staff at hotel generally helpful - Reception staff can be a bit rude and direct Hotel looks a bit dated, only stayed for two nights with family. Would not stay here longer than 2 nights. Rooms were clean and fair size.
Great hotel with generous stuff., awesome placed in a few minutes from center malls like MBK and the new Discovery. There are two pools in hotel., placed in the middle and on the roof., Massage services and some great Brazilian restaurant are in the hotel too. Wi fi connection is the only problem..
A very old hotel which urgently need some rennovation. Light bulb was fused and the bath tub was choked. Toilet door is chipped and bathroom walls are mouldly. Breakfast was okay, and the location is great!
I had lunch business meeting in this hotel with high ranking Thai official. The duty manager staunchly refused wifi connectivity unless I paid 700THB. Also no customer parking and no parking validation from hotel. Guard your wallet and stay away!
First of All: Warning to all Travelers who stay here: When you get to your room please do inventory of all items in mini bar and fridge and make sure nothing is missing. We had to pay 60 baht for mineral we that we never took during checkout We and my wife stayed 2 nights (19 - 21 May 2017). Check in process was OK. The hotel was a little old but clean. For some reason, the interior designer doesn't light bright lights. The room and some places in the hotel need more lighting. Feels like I was in a Christopher Nolan movie. The wifi signal was very bad inside the room. I had to stand next to the room door to get a signal. Food at breakfast was OK with pork items clearly labelled. The hotel has direct access to Ranchathewi BTS station so that was convenient. You could also walk (700 meters) to MBK and Siam Discovery shopping mall. A 7-11 is located near the hotel also. Now the worst part: the checkout process took 30 minutes. During checkout, The girl behind the front desk keep answering phones and entertaining some event organizer who was trying to get a new key for one of his clients. Basically. ignoring me. After all this the house keeping staff has to check the room first and this is were they found out a bottle of mineral water was missing from the mini bar. Because we had a plane to catch, I just paid the 60 baht and didn't argue further even though we never took it. To summarize: Will I be staying here again? NO. There are better and newer hotels in the Siam - Sukhomvit area
