Slow wifi and waiting lines at breakfast. We were also put in another room because our original room was not available due to a flooding? Situation was very confusing and it felt like they tried to shove the problem on to us. But it's a good location with lots of shopping malls near the hotel. Don't expect luxury here.

From accommodations to dining to location to the people you can't find a better place for the money. You can spend a week there and pay the same as a couple of days in a multi star hotel in the states. That includes a beautiful buffet breakfast in the morning. It's centrally located to all the major happenings and sights in Bangkok. A week is barely enough time to see and experience what Bangkok has to offer. From their to Puket is a short plain ride to a breath taking island you need to explore if time permits and that's one of the reasons it's called "Amazing Thailand"!

Dirty, tired, terrible customer service and the bathroom smelled like stale urine! The worst hotel I have ever stayed in and pretty sure the place made me sick! If you want to pay cheap rates to stay in the city and then have cheating taxi drivers trying to rip you off, its perfect! If you do stay do yourself a favour and eat outside the hotel too, plenty of amazing places around to experience. Would never, ever visit again!

Great hotel for family. Buslings with in house cafe, restaurant, pub and bar. Serve great buffet breakfast with a variety of different dishes. Room is big & spacious. Housekeeping is Good. Changing new beddings upon request. Quiet surroundings. Street foods is abundance along the streets. BTS is connected via the hotel.MBS shopping centre within walking distance otherwise hop on the BTS to the next station in 5 mins.

The hotel is very good for the cost .. big room .. access to metro .. clean area .. the big problem the staff don't speak English.. .. over all if u are look for 3-4 day hotel and u don't stay that long in hotel .. it's the best place to book

I've stayed here a few times now and I like the central location with ease to public transport etc. This time I enjoyed wifi in the rooms as I had to be moved to another floor when the initial room given me (i.e. 6th Floor) had no wifi. It seems only certain floors have wifi in rooms so it's good to demand the right floor especially if your booking promises wifi in the room. The breakfast buffet was very impressive with a wide range of Asian, continental choices. Staff character Integrity. I can vouch for the honesty of staff that work here considering an incident when I was checking out. I was pulling my travel bag along corridor only to realise that the Cleaner who had come to check room, chasing after me, holding my wallet that had dropped on the floor! It was returned intact with all the money inside. Big kudos to all the staff at Asia Hotel.

I booked a non-smoking room and got a smoking room because was none available and without chance of change. My room was at 5th floor and has no wi-fi signal in the room. When i went to lobby to ask the reason, they suggested me to use at lobby because the whole hotel rooms has poor signal. Of course it`s ridiculous! But i had to do it at 2 am because was no better solution. Everything in the room is charged if used, including water. The hotel itself is a picture of the age when was built. I felt like 60`s. was clean but when i was in the lobby using their wi-fi, i spotted a small roach in my sofa. After that i woldn`t stay again in this place anymore. It`s easy access from sky train with an exclusive entrance and has lots of stores inside. the place is big and also the rooms. There`s no channel guide for tv and no cortesy toothbrushes. It`s 10 minutes walking to nearest big mall.

Asia Hotel Bangkok is extremely value for money! It provides all that a hotel should, and at a price that can beat that of some hostels. It's in a great location, at a walking distance to Siam (MBK, Jim Thompson house too) and is connected directly to the BTS. What I like even more is the fact that there are many food stalls in the area. There's street food, Thai restaurants, cafes, and even a sushi place. Try the coconut shake if you can find it (it's on the menu of a street food ish stall with an air-conditioned seating area but they prepare them at another stall), it's awesome! There are plenty of massage places nearby too (I tried the foot massage at a simple, no-frills place just right outside the hotel called D&D, very good!). 7-11 is also nearby so it's very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and a spa within the hotel building itself too! When you check in, do take the hotel's name card so that you can show it to the taxi driver if needed! We booked a room with an extra bed using agoda, and it was nice to see that the extra bed was set up when we arrived, with extra towels to boot. There was sufficient space for us to hang and place items in the toilet and in the room, which was really convenient. There's a kettle too, if you like drinking hot water. Do remember to bring your own travel adapter!

I came here for business trip actually on May 2015 (i've just posted it sorry!) Located in the middle of BKK so me loved it! The room was good and I like the food at the restaurant. The staffs were very helpful.

Being a regular at this hotel for years I have never had an issue. This time upon checkout we were informed that a spoon was missing. Our room was cleaned the day before so I assume only one clean spoon was replenished. A duty Manager was called and made some calls. He informed us we would be charged 65b for the spoon. Now i know 65b is nothing but that is not the point. I explained that we had spent 6000b at the hotel why would we steal a spoon. More calls and 25 minutes later I had to write a statement about the missing spoon. Eventually our full deposit was returned to us. Asia Hotel please use common sense when dealing with people. Ask why someone spending thousands of baht in your hotel would be dishonest about a bloody spoon! You have lost us as customers over a missing 65b spoon that was never there. Oh dear Asia Hotel.
