We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 8th floor. The suite is clean and tidy, however, can see the furnishing are not well maintained. Room 835 is facing a construction site, can be quite noisy during the day, it can start as early as 7am. 1 bedroom has a double bed and the other room has 2 single beds. The bedrooms are quite small, we placed our luggages in the living room instead. Staffs are friendly and courteous. We did not have to tap the room card when we took the lift to our room, somehow don’t feel safe. Not sure is it because we are staying at the 8th floor which leads to level 9 meeting rooms? The hotel is within walking distance to Phrom Phong BTS. 1 more stop to Sukhumvit MRT interchange, quite convenient. There are a number of eateries, a small 7 eleven just opposite the hotel. A lot of stalls selling food along the streets too during the day. Overall satisfactory stay and value for money.
Cleaniness is average. Pillow too flat resulting neck pain in 2 days. Shower installed wrong angle. The water will spray straight directly to your face or wall. This cause the bathroom flooded after bath(shower curtain does not help). Bath tub is not properly clean. When you use it you know what i mean. I ended up scrubing the bath tub and do the job myself. Cleaner threw our detergent away too luckly it happen on the last 2 days. Disappointed over all. Aircon will auto off after awhile no matter how you set it. It get extremely stuffy in room when this happen. Staff is friendly at least. Room 336 18th feb.
Have very bad experience with the hotel for my stay from 15/2 to 19/2. First of all they charged me for 1,900 baht for damage of cushion which have an iron marked on it, thus I went to counter to get details and judgment on how they charge me on this then the staff told me that manager is on leave and will return on Monday so we could discuss on this when she return. But after few minutes later their staff came in and took the cushion away and replaced a new one which this means that they doesn’t even give me a chance and face to face converse with their manager and just blindly charge me without any proper explanation. Secondly they charge me for dirty towel, which obviously the towel looks old as it can seen that used for sometime. They charge me on the day I check out my hotel which on 20/2, I trying to argue and would want to get explanation from them but the staff said it was their manager decision (which I find it is a very unreasonable explanation) but was rushing to airport and taxi is otw which we got no chance but they insist that it is our fault and wouldn’t want to let us go if we don’t pay. As per the invoice the charging is dated on 18/2 which they have sufficient time to inform me and talk to me during my stay but they didn’t do so. It was a very bad management and service provided by the hotel, and I very disappointed and disgusted by their action. I won’t recommend this hotel and definitely won’t return again anymore.
Went there for 5 nights. Wanted smoking room but it is not available. The room is quite compact. However, service and also housekeeping was great. Shower holder could be better. Overall, it was great and will return again.
I wanted to stay in Sukhumvit area and I chose Arize from good reviews at Booking.com. Their are mostly Japanese tourists here. You are one block from ref sky train and about a 4 minute walk. The pool was beauty and s great place to cool off after Bangkok’s heat and humidity. I had eggs Benedict breakfast set for B300. It was great.
good place to stay in BKK,very convenience ..BTS is just around the corner, plenty of hawker food in the morning near BTS station.a nice garden near the Station for morning exercise.Shopping complex is also near the Station..
Main comment would be that the staff here only does what is needed to get the job done. They don't look at you or greet you no matter how many times you walk by. Had to go out to call a taxi on our own to the airport. You just don't get the friendliness and help that you would normally get with Thai culture. Hotel itself is conveniently located and about 5 - 7 mins walk to BTS Phrom Phong depending on how fast you walk! Lobby was too dark for my liking. Deluxe room was actually a small one-bedroom studio with a separate bedroom & mini living room+pantry. Like some others commented, you may need to leave the bedroom door open for the living room air conditioner to blow in some air as the one in the room doesn't feel sufficient. The mattress I had sagged substantially and had a big 'drain'. You got to position yourself well within the sagged section or if not, you will find your body slanting to certain degree. The hair dryer provided in the bathroom is weak & worse, it even electrocuted me due to exposed wiring at the base!
Location - less than 5 minutes walk to BTS Phrom Phrong Station, 7-Eleven just across the street, cafes and bars nearby, massage parlors around, and two malls at a walking distance. Area is mostly of Japanese and Asian visitors. Service - attentive and accomodating, welcome drinks to refresh you from the Bangkok heat. We even got a complimentary upgrade to a two bedroom suite, so our family can be together, as there were no side by side rooms available, as per my request. Cleanliness - can do with some checking on their amenities such as towels and bedsheets. Look out for small damages such as small holes and tears.
Understand it's not 4 star, but, not too bad. Basic room was not huge, but was comfortable. shower was a bit odd, the wall mount is just a holder, you really need to handhold to shower, but you get over that easy enough. They say the rooms are soundproof, but could still hear people in the passageways, and construction next door Bed was comfortable. close to the BTS, but I would book a suite next time otherwise fine for an overnight
The hotel is located nearby BTS Phromphong about less than 5 minutes walk. 7-11 is opposite the hotel and very close to the famous noodle shop (Roong Ruang Noodle Shop). I booked last minuted and I got the room on 3rd floor. The price is reasonable in this Sukhumvit area less than 2,000 THB. I booked this hotel and didn't expect much but very impressive as the room is quite big and separate the living room and the bedroom. The room is like service apartment with microwave, washing machine and also provide bathtub.
