Location is great ... room is nice and clean..good choice of foods Love Italian food and Japanese and Thai all great Closed to club 21 which I like to shop Front desk staffs are good too But the swimming staffs are very good and quick respond to my need
A hotel with a good location, providing excellent service overall. The breakfast selections may not be that lavish but good enough for my businessmen as well as family. The family is happy to go shopping with a train station nearby within walking distant
I would said this hotel is what my experience in bangkok consider a most satisfactory hotel I ever experienced and with all the comforts. If any of my friends travel to Bangkok there's no doubt that I will refer them to this hotel.
I wanted to like this place. When it was the Four Seasons it was a 5 star expereience. Even with a modest status with the 4 seasons I receieved better service and upgrades. I'm now GHA Black which is he highest level one can reach in the hotel group. They gave me an update to the junior suite which I must say though large as not received a renovation in at least 15 years. I took a downgrade premier because the larger suites are so aged. No breakfast, no lounge access, nothing. Usually these things are tied to suite access. They are not here or they just have not sorted their policies. I nearly always get this consideration at other GHA properties and Anantara properties. The rates are in the top 5 star rate in central Bangkok but their property and guest treatment are not comparable to other 5 stars that they are located right next to such as the Intercontinental hotel, Grand Hyatt, Renaissance, the Royal le meridian or St Regis. Im pretty confident with this review because I am also Platinum SPG, Royal Ambassador with IHG, Platinum with Hyatt. With all those top statuses the Anantara with similar or higher rates just does not warrent a similar rating when objectively evaluating the entire expereience. Some of my friends said similar things about their recent stay here being a "let down" and thye are Hilton Owners Group members. Its a shame really, they have an iconic property, great location, and the fundamentals of a fantastic hotel expereience but they need to 1) overhaul their guest expereience with better treatment if thier status members 2) improve overall service 3) complete their renovations and make sure they are comparable to other 5 star competing properties which I must say they have a lot of work to do if this is gonna be possible. I wish them good luck, the Bkk central hotel 5 star market is very competitive and I fear they will be a 4 star property unless they take some serious action to make the appropriate adjustments.
Exquisite understated elegance. Every member of staff very comfortably made one feel like a VIP. All food and beverages truly excellent. Enormous Swimming pool in beautiful natural garden Wonderful uplifting ambience all round. Fabulous location.
I have visited this hotel in September, and overall I was happy with my stay. Spacious and beautiful rooms, efficient staff (fast to respond to any query), very good food (breakfast buffet is small but nice with a choice of local and Western food, good choice of cocktails in the lobby, very good Thai food). There is a big gym and a pool, and the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station (walking distance) and a big mall (central world).
Check in was so easy because of Mr Earth and his team. He was very professional and so very helpful. A very well maintained and beautiful hotel. The Premium Deluxe room was spacious and very clean with all the necessary equipment in the room. Spice restaurant served very nice but slightly pricey food. Staff there was excellent when I dined in on 11 Sep for dinner. Very attentive and extremely polite. Unfortunately the only name I remember was the MOD Mr. Kai. He and his crew were great! Large Swimming pool is large but the over flow drain around the pool is a trap! It's large enough for your foot to just lodge in. That happened to me and because the flooring was a rough sand blast, I got 2 pretty bad scrapes on my foot. However, again the staff were very attentive and got me medical help. Even before the incident when I arrived at the pool, they spread the towel over my deck chair and brought me a cold bottle of water without having to ask for it! My partner had the very best experience at the Anantara spa. She's been to many and she says this is by far the best. She mentioned a Ms Su that was so very helpful Checking out was also made so smooth by Ms Mam. Hotels can be grand and impressive but what really made this trip special was the TOP service provide from every section of staff.
There are many choices and considerations that come to mind when thinking of traditional British afternoon tea This tradition has become more famous in Bangkok with a many hotels and cafes also offer afternoon tea. So If you love biting a scone coveted in heavy cream butter and jam, along with with jasmine aromatic tea with an incredible assortment of sweet and salty and small bites i'm pretty sure you would appreciate Anacara Siam Hotel (formally the the Four Seasons) This world class hotel offers one of the finest afternoon teas in Bangkok. Sweet tooth's should also check out out the wonderful multi level tray of pastries and side serving of sorbets and asian flavored cotton candies allow for at least two hours to savor this experience I love this hotel. It is an Oasis in the middle of Bangkok with elegant sophistication and Thai charm.
