I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 30 years through several changes of management. It was originally the Regent, then for Four Seasons, before the latest change. The last change has seen the hotel go down hill unfortunately. Several of the shops in the courtyard are boarded up. They have chopped back on amenities in the rooms, bathrooms. at the swimming pools. The restaurants have reduced menus. All in all, it feels now like penny pinchers are running the place. That is maybe ok for a budget hotel, but not for a place which still practices such high rates. The rooms were 'remodelled' subsequent to latest change of control, and have lost completely their Thai character. The result is that the rooms could now be in any airport hotel anywhere in the world. Finally, the area around the hotel has become crowded with non-descript apartment blocks, which block the sun most save for a 3-3.5 hrs a day on the pool. Yes, even at the pool they have gone chich, as they no longer provide ample towels. Oh well, there are still several excellent hotels in Thailand. This was one, but current management group has done its best to take it off that list James
This hotel was by far the nicest we have stayed in during our 6 trips to BKK. We had a junior suite and it was well-stocked. Loved having robes and slippers, tea fixings, fruit plate, flowers on turned downed beds. Spa was great. Staff so kind and gracious. Hope to come back again.
2/13 預計停留2晚，2/13是第1晚，大廳壁畫壯觀美麗，環境平和溫暖，只是很可惜 1、服務態度不好：接待小姐Bunny是中國人，和另一位Joe都會說中文，但是在Checkin 的時候卻不會主動招呼，讓我們家族16人光Checkin 就花了一小時，大家累得攤在沙發上，櫃台人員Pearl也沒有笑容，很不友善的服務 2、三溫暖維修暫停使用，訂房或Checkin 的時候沒有主動告知，入住後電話詢問才知道不能用，不過可到隔壁飯店St. Regis使用，但是要事前預約，後來就沒去了。沒有事先告知這一點，真的很不專業 滿心期待入住四季酒店，希望第2晚會好一點 2/14更新 今天過後，毫不猶豫馬上改一顆星，太爛的服務人員和態度，非常糟糕的住宿經驗，有名無實的星級飯店 一早08:00行程出發前，和門房Tour先生確認可以到St. Regis使用三溫暖，而且只要半小時前預約就好，我放心出門行程 晚間20:15回Anantara，和另一位門房Nimit先生預約，21:00可過去St. Regis使用三溫暖，由Nimit先生派人帶我走過去 20:50到St. Regis，結果，櫃臺人員沒有人知道我要去使用三溫暖，陪我走來的Anantara員工連門都沒陪我進去，再見都沒說就不見了，我非常尷尬，感到非常丟臉，而且St. Regis的人員告訴我，使用三溫暖是要額外付費的，我只好滿臉羞愧地回到Anantara 最後，Nimit先生對我說，”I apologize, sir.”，我回他說，”it’s not ur fault, the mistake is mine. I shouldn’t choose Anantara.”
I stay at the Anantara about 3 times a year for business and always have a pleasant stay. The newly renovated rooms are nice and the internet is fast. Importantly the staff are very nice and courteous. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is very near two skytrain station and is located in the city's main shopping area.
We had three wonderful nights here in January. This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding, the rooms superb and the whole atmosphere of the hotel was just amazing. A real oasis in the middle of a busy, busy city. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed for business and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurants and facilities. Fitness center is really complete and they even have a squash court. The courtyard bar serves great cocktails and the Cigar shop is the one of my favourites in BKK.
Four thumbs up from me and my wife We spend 4 nights and it was excellent.. Thank you for the anniversary cake and flowers.. Not only the service is perfect, the hotel is also perfectly located near the malls
This was formerly known as the four seasons. The hotel is very conveniently located near shopping centres like central world and platinum mall. The rooms are a very good size and and the facilities are more than adequate. The bed and pillows were perhaps a tad too soft but this did not undermine the comfort level. There was a nice touch with fruits provided every day and some good complimentary chocolates in the room on checking in. The are some signs of aging in the carpets and walls especially in the corridors. Overall a very nice hotel for a weekend break.
I can't say enough about the wonderful service I received from the Kasara Lounge staff during my stay. Additionally, housekeeping, laundry and rooms service all performed at a top notch level. The food at both Madison and Spice Market was delicious (see individual restaurant reviews) - and the express lunches were a great deal! I loved all the fresh flowers in the lobby and the beta fish in the room was a sweet touch. Stayed in room 706 where the carpets were a bit stained and would have preferred a room that overlooked the pool area as opposed to the BTS skytrain - but being on the same floor as the Kasara Lounge was great for grabbing a quick snack or cappucino.
I won't ever forget our stay here. One week of luxury and beauty. We had adjoining rooms. Enjoyed access to level 7 and every meal and contact with staff was outstanding. A well placed haven in an exciting bustling city
