Amber Boutique Silom Hotel

Amber Boutique is very nice to see compared to all you find in the streets of Bangkok. It is clean and well taken care. Rooms are nice and new. First, I was put in a room on second floor. Wifi was very bad at this floor. But, on my second night, it started a ruge noise from somewhere at 6am. It seems like a machine or something. Maybe some construction noise as it was Monday morning. As they didnt know where it came from, they changed me from second to fourth floor. Wifi is much much better and room was the same (although orange walls was not so comfortable as whites). After this, I had no troubles with noise anymore, which is wonderful as I am a light sleeper. I found some ashes dirty in the balcony but apart from that, everything was very clean. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special but good taste. Location is really a spetacular thing about Amber. Just 10min walk from BTS. Also, you can walk to Oriental pier to take ferry or take a walk on silom road with many restaurants options. I recommend this hotel. It is good.

Small hotel next to Pullman in Silom Rd. Good location within walking distancw to. Silom attractions inclusing lhumpini park and all nightlife. Nice clean rooms and good wi-fi. Breakfast was so-so, as I am not a fan of thai soup in the morning. Toast and jam with coffee were fine. Overall, good impression. Good value for money and recommended for a short stay.

Amber Boutique Silom is a typical " come , sleep, eat, leave and forget hotel. ". On one hand all is very nice here ( the room was very nice, we were upgraded with no charge to a bigger room - thank You reception lady :) ). The location is very good ( short 15 mins ) walk to patpong and the night market. The staff is very nice ( always smiling and being friendly ). Despite all of that the place is lacking any character or atmosphere. It feels empty. Breakfast needs some improvement, although there seems to be quite some things to chose from a toast with jam is the only eatable option. All in all - a good place to stay for one or two nights when in BKK but next time will go somewhere else.

Lovely Boutique Hotel in central Bangkok. Rooms have air conditioning and mini bar. Very helpful and friendly staff. Central to markets and night life. On arrival did take a wile to find the hotel as is in a back street but people are very friendly and helped us out. Highly recommend if wanting to stay in central Bangkok.

This hotel is tucked away from Silom Road which is both a good and a bad thing. BAD: Some taxis don't know where it is, so you need to remember the Soi where it is located along. GOOD: You will not hear the hustle and bustle of Silom. The rooms are big and well-appointed. The bed is quite hard though. The toilet area is good. You have enough space to move about in the shower. The breakfast is okay for maybe a night's stay, but you wouldn't be eating it for your entire stay if you plan to stay longer. Also, since this area is tucked away and the building is a low-rise, you wouldn't be having any views from the windows.

The located of the hotel close to the main road just 7-10 min walk to the sky train and 15-20 min walk to Lumpini park. I really like the hotel interior quiet nice and feel like home. staff was amazing!

We stayed in this hotel from 01st April and will be checking out tomm (5th). We were given a room on the 3rd floor. The rooms itself are very clean and get made up every day. We hardly heard any noise while we were in the room. The hotel is situated in a side lane, which is away from the main road, which is good. We took the breakfast package - breakfast was very nice and different every day - croissants, eggs, bacon, sausages, noodles, rice and chicken curry, tea, coffee, juice etc - we felt we got an excellent deal. The hotel is about 20 mins walk to the pier, from where you can take the boat to the Calypso cabaret, Palace etc. Staff were friendly and tried to help us as much as they could, but due to the language difference, they did find it hard to understand us sometimes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed with our family of four in an large corner room, we booked the cheaper room but were upgraded for the same price. The bed was huuuuuuge, 240cm wide, (two beds) comfy. The room was clean, and made up everyday. The room had everything you would expect: fridge, tv, hairdryer, safe, balcony. There are lot's of 7/11's close. You can catch the bus 77 to centralworld or other malls just by the road, the fare fee is 9baht/pax.

We had a 2 night stopover in Bangkok en route to Nepal. This was our first time at the Amber Boutique and I must say we were very impressed. The hotel is located in a quiet side street, minutes from the hubbub of Silom Road but so peaceful. We had a large room on the second floor that was both very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was substantial with a range of choices. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although we know Bangkok pretty well so had no need to quiz them on tourist information. My only reservation was that my credit card was charged in Australian dollars – not Thai Baht - this without my approval. Consequently I received a very poor exchange rate. Other that this I would have no reservation in highly recommending this hotel.

I stayed at the Amber Boutique Silom for 3 nights while visiting Bangkok and I could not really fault it. The room was spacious and clean, incredibly quiet considering you're in a busy location in Bangkok and easily accessible by public transport. Lots of cheap and delicious restaurants around and close to shops. We hadn't booked breakfast so I can't judge it but you get tea/coffee facilities and free water in the room which is always appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful.
