Generally, this is a simple, quiet hotel with spacious rooms. The only problem is the smoke from neighbouring rooms...that seem to come in through the air conditioning system. I wish the staff make sure that no guests are allowed to smoke in the rooms
I had high expectations from the reviews provided and was a little let down. I think I may have over paid at AU$108 p.night thru booking.com, in hindsight i wouldnt have paid the extra for the breakfast.....just not worth it. I have significantly lowered my budget on this stay so I am unable to compare with similiar priced accomm as i usually would......but taking that into account when making this review. Would I stay again, yes.....but would not pay more than AU$80 p.n. We stayed purely on the grounds that it was so close to chatuchak markets.....3 min walk to BTS and about 3 stops/10mins on the sky train and we were at chatuchak markets. pros: -huge spacious and comfortable, 1 bedroom apartment -great pool -great proximity to markets -clean -friendly service at the restaurant cons: -outdated and in much need of general building maintenance -room service food was of poor quality, expensive and very small spaghetti servings (ridiculously tiny serving)
Great staff and helpful Amazing place filled with sincere love not fancy gadgets Simple layout yet exclusive Walking distance to Sanam Pao BTS I will surely stay here again It is highly recommended for families and couples
As I searched for a hotel that could accommodate my wife and two girls located near Chatuchak Market, I came upon this one that was pleasantly surprised how good it was. First of all, I had booked a one bedroom and upon checkin, the manager upgraded us to a 2 bedroom which has only happened to me twice in my life at a hotel and it's always nice. The rooms were spacious and clean and had all that we needed. The breakfast buffet is small but the right size for this size hotel and we enjoyed our meals in the morning. I especially liked the sesame salad dressing which is not always on offer at hotels. There's a small gym that's good enough and a pool that's never busy. It's a short walk to the BTS but most of the time we used UBER. It's 4 stops to the SIAM Paragon mall area so during rush hour, I recommend taking the BTS as the traffic to that area is always jammed. Definitely stay here again if I need to be in that area and esp if traveling with kids.
Their 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious and clean. Staff were most helpful and polite. The stove and curtain need replacing and it could do better with a washer but overall although not new, the place had a homey feel. Location is very convenient that you can walk thru a designated building to the BTS station and there are marts and restaurants within 1 km distance including a delicious sidewalk seafood restaurant. I was rather upset when I happened to be searching in the internet a few days before our travel dates that they quoted a price almost 20% less than what I paid. I would not mind staying there again but would definitely not pay the same price.
My wife and I came to visit relatives and stayed a month at Abloom. This was our 2nd stay in 2 years. Will stay again on next trip to Bangkok. Pros: Location good with easy walk to Sky Train. Restaurant has good selection and food is good. Also good local restaurants in the area. Con Although we had a non smoking room we got smoke from an adjacent room through the air condition system. We called the main desk about the smoke and received a device to remove the smoke smell, it works very well. Also, management informed guest in adjacent room that they cannot smoke in their room. Abloom needs to do something about the air conditioning system to fix this problem.
One thing Google maps didn't make clear was just how much was in this area. Right outside the apartments, there was a massage place (amazing) and lots and lots of incredible places to eat. Ari (the area) is amazing. It also felt cleaner than some of the other areas I have stayed in Bangkok and no so overrun with crazy tourists. The Abloom apartments are clean, really large and the staff are fantastic. While the rooms might not be super modern ( a little dated) they are very comfortable and are always kept clean and wonderfully made up by room service. Room service food was also terrific. There is a large menu to choose from - usual western food, but lots of delicious Thai meals. Kudos to the chef - it was good food!!
Our family (me, my wife, and our infant daughter) travel back and forth between Bangkok and the US, and have spent eight months this year living at Abloom. While the location is pretty quiet compared to other parts of the city, it's still very convenient. The staff is always very helpful, and have been incredibly kind to our young daughter. She loves the staff.
It was outside the traffic area! Great for a respite stay. And travel by Grab to anywhere is cheap and convenient. Can walk to Sanam Pao station but we were 3 pax traveling and wanted to pamper ourselves. However we did walk down to MBK. Was an awesome 20mins stroll and pass by Victory Monument shops. Oh, did I mention the apartment was huge? 4 adult could have slept on their SuperKingSize Bed!!! #PicturesSpeakForThemselves
I stayed at Abloom appartments for a business trip earlier this year. The rooms are big with a large shower and kitchen area. The little sofa and tv is great for a night in, and has lots of English film channels. The location is great apart from having to walk down a narrow alleyway between shops and to the back of the hotel. From what I could see there was always security at the other end however as a single female I never came back after dark as it made me uncomfortable. There is only a seven eleven close by on the main street if you want food, I found this a little difficult if I did not want to stray too far from the hotel. I did phone the room service one night but they had apparently ran out of everything! The steps to the train station are right on your doorstep, I had to keep travelling between chatuchak and Siam paragon and for that the location is perfect. Where my room was situated was very quiet and slept really well, the beds are very comfortable.
