I stayed at Abloom appartments for a business trip earlier this year. The rooms are big with a large shower and kitchen area. The little sofa and tv is great for a night in, and has lots of English film channels. The location is great apart from having to walk down a narrow alleyway between shops and to the back of the hotel. From what I could see there was always security at the other end however as a single female I never came back after dark as it made me uncomfortable. There is only a seven eleven close by on the main street if you want food, I found this a little difficult if I did not want to stray too far from the hotel. I did phone the room service one night but they had apparently ran out of everything! The steps to the train station are right on your doorstep, I had to keep travelling between chatuchak and Siam paragon and for that the location is perfect. Where my room was situated was very quiet and slept really well, the beds are very comfortable.
Bangkok is spoilt for hotel choice from the very top end to the budget hotel. So it can be very difficult to choose the right hotel for your needs. The Abloom is a very good choice, in my opinion. This is a family run hotel aimed at maintaining a high standard of service. In that sense it competes with the high end hotels but offers a much lower price because its location is not in the main tourist areas. But don't worry, it is one stop away on the BTS skytrain, and you should get around bangkok by BTS anyway. There is a second big advantage of the location and that is you are so close to the night time eating ares around Victory Monument where the local eat amazingly delicious street food and low, local prices. A million times better than the pricey tourist areas. The location is quiet at night and the rooms are large and well equipped with microwave, fridge and large seating area. Breakfast is not a wide spread of choices but it is cooked to order and there are enough items to choose from. The staff are lovely fun and attentive. The swimming pool clean, the exercise room is sufficiently equipped. You can ask a lady from the massage shop next to the hotel to come to your room. Nothing better than a two-hour massage while waiting for the heat of the afternoon to yield to the cool night air and dinner on the street.
While I say conveniently located, there is a nearby BTS station, walkable distance, 5 minutes; but finding out the hotel location is bit confusing, particularly when you call a uber or another taxi guy. We can always give the phone to the hotel staff to guide them reach the apartment lobby. Very quiet, all amenities available, good service. Nearby there is a good massage centre too. Close to Chatuchak weekend market.
Room was clean. big bathroom. service not bad. breakfast quality was good but limited item. not really good breakfast for the muslim. there should be separated shower in bathroom. housekeeping is not for 24 hours. they closed at 5 pm. really very quite place after 7 PM. no food court nearby.
This apartment is very convenient for use in vacation time either with family or friends. Apart from that the hotel maid was also very friendly. The room so clean and if you want to feel thai message this apartemen also provides
Good service, staff speaks good English Helped us arrange transportation and advice on itinerary Big rooms, good enough facilities, money saving Don't expect luxurious hotel renovation, but sure at this price they provides u more than a 4 star hotel would.
Large room, Small living room. It has all the basic necessities of a hotel(pool, gym, bath tub, kitchen, tuk tuk ferry to BTS etc) Little selection for breakfast, it is okay for those who dont expect much for breakfast. Consider near to BTS with their backdoor. For new traveller, lookout for "Abloom" above a spa shop after 7-11, walk till the end and turn left after exiting the shop. It located a block away from the main street, quite quiet and peaceful.
Stayed in one of these apartments on a business trip and found the location fantastic. The room was enormous with a kitchenette, sitting room and bedroom. The rooms were older but spacious and the restaurant was very satisfactory. I would return to this property!
Pros; Location is very near to the BTS station. Use BTS and can avoid traffic jam. If you have lots light luggage easy access to Airport via BTS and MRT. Large outdoor pool but gym is limited. Cons; Service is bad. TV channels are not working and when call guest service center, no action taken. When I ask reception, to extend my stay, they ask me to book via booking.com. Wierd. When check out receptionist communicate someone via radio to check my room. It takes too long. You may ask them earlier to check if you may have limited time for departure. Generally it's okay with its price.
Good location right next to SkyTrain with only few stops to Siam Paragon and MBK. Rooms are big and clean with separate living room, bedroom and kitchen area. Really value for the money if you compare to the hotels where you just have one small room. Service was friendly, but we had to wait for the room when checking in for 2 hours.
