We usually stay here for the first night or 2 of our stay in Bali. Its close to the airport and has a lovely pool through the centre of the hotel and also has a fabulous massage therapist in their little spa room. These are the only 2 things which bring me back as rooms are tired and grey like their linen and towels. Bathroom is ok with good powerful hot water. Many of the staff are friendly enough but often disinterested and the restaurant was usually empty except at breakfast. Breakfast is average, price is ok too just dont expect too much.
The hotel is old and run down, but for $22 per night (no breakfast) I guess it's ok. My room was quite neglected. It had paint peeling off the walls, water damage across half of the ceiling with mould on it, a trail of ants running across the headboard of the bed to the floor and off to who knows where. The door to the room had a 1 inch gap underneath it. There is no security guard at all, even at night, if there was, I never saw him. The beds were hard as rock. I used to take pride knowing I am able to sleep virtually anywhere, but these mattresses and pillows were super cheap and nasty. I had a sore neck and back every morning. There was one fitted sheet and just one sheet on top, with no blanket at all. Positives; Shower water was hot within 30seconds, there were no nasty smells coming from the water or drains or toilet. The a/c worked fine. TV with Indovision worked fine. Personally, I will not stay here again because of the beds. I find it hard to recommend this place for more than a 1 or 2 night stay. I booked 4 nights and left after 3 because I couldn't bare to sleep another night in that torture bed.
Front of hotel (corridor), could be good impression if put some hanging plan. The room was okay,it's bigger but it's need to be re-cleaned again. The pool was nice, and cozy to sun bath. The lobby area if in the afternoon & evening (front office/reception) need more lighting.
The rooms could be cleaner, as well as the showers and toilets. They change sheets and towels on a daily basis, however they sometimes have some remaining stains or discolorations. The ceiling is leaking in certain rooms, and at the reception too, but this will remain unnoticed, unless your visit is during the rainy season. The breakfast is good, with the tiny exception of the coffee mugs, that could be a little cleaner. The staff is helpful and kind. Under average in every aspect except for the nice big pool with sunbeds, which are free for the guests. You'll most likely rather spend time there than in the room.
The hotel is nice and quiet. The prices are low and the staff is very kind. You get clean sheets and towels every day. And also 2 bottles of water and one toilet paper. The only problem is that the rooms are quite dusty and the sheets have some stains on them even though they are washed. It takes a while for the water to go away after you take a shower. Every room has an air conditioner.
Dirty sheets and pillows, 3 of 5 light bulbs didn't work. When it rains, water leaks into the room eather through the balcony or main door, depending on the wind. Mold in the shower and toilet. Sewage smell from time to time. Some part of the roof panel was loose and when it's windy it makes a terrible banging noise do we couldn't sleep. Cockroaches and small lizards in rooms. The pool is also not too clean.. We stayed here through an agency and there were a lot of people who complained for same reasons. On top of that, they charged us 350.000rp ~ 25€ for late check out without any type of appology or offer of discount. Only positive thing is breakfast and staff who are smiling, but this is tipical for all Bali people.
Have stayed at this hotel many times before with my wife and children. This time we had a long stay for christmas and new year and i couldnt have been more disappointed. I always considered this hotel to be a gem of a place. Rooms were clean and value for money and hotel was quiet, excellent pool and very close to everything. In addition the staff used to be very very good. Unfortunately this has changed. The lack of attention to the hotel was poor. The breakfast was very poor and we were constantly pestered by wasps during eating. This was mentioned to staff every day and never addressed. They were more bothered about pestering us too make money on whatever trip the hotel could provide. As part of our stay we had to take part / pay for a New Years eve banquet which was both expensive and an absolute joke. I truly hope the hotel can address these issues and return to its former standards.
groupon disdus brings us to this hotel.. and it's worth every penny.. kind of little gem in kuta.. very nice huge pool, nice room, nice breakfast.. strategic location.. will definetly go back in the future..
The room was cleaned everyday and two bottle water always given. Our room is in the first floor with pool view, so calming and comfortable. Breakfast was average nothing special, the location of the hotel little bit hard to find because behind local shops but close to the beach by walking distance. But if you looking for a cheap vacation with good price and easy access to the beach this place is totally awesome.
I booked this hotel on the day to use as a transit hotel so we could place our bags in a room and shower before our flight. The room was $42 for the day/night which I didnt mind paying, however when we arrived in our room we ad to walk up 20 or steps with our luggage. Once inside I noticeed quite a few things that were not worth paying the $42 1. I went to use the toilet however the was dried blood on the seat.. needless to say I didnt use the bathroom and went to a restaurant instead. It was disgusting. 2. The safe did not work al all so we needed to hide our passports 3. The balcony door was broken and anyone could have pushed it open to gain access to the room 4. There was stains on the bed! eeeek 5, The refrigerator didnt work. The only good thing was the hot shower and air conditioning,
