My wife and I have recently returned home from a wonderful fortnight at this beautiful traditionally inspired style hotel and we are missing it already! This is a return trip to this hotel, our previous time was in 1989! Needless to say the hotel has been remodelled over time but has lost none of its charm and ambience. We stayed in a Palace club suite on the top (4th) floor which by our normal standards was enormous. It had a lounge/dining area with a large comfy sofa, footrest, coffee table, dining table and 4 chairs as well as a large satellite tv. Off the lounge was a small room with a kitchen sink/drainer, Kettle and Nespresso machine together with loads of cupboard space. Also off the lounge was a separate wc with a vanity washbasin unit. Beyond the lounge was the bedroom with a massive double bed, desk and chair, storage unit with refrigerator inside and another large satellite tv on top. Off the bedroom was a walk in ‘wardrobe’ cum dressing room with digital safe. Also off the bedroom was the bathroom with wc, bath separate shower and vanity washbasin unit. Floors to the lounge and bedroom were wood block and the rest were tiles. The ceilings in the lounge and bedroom had large recessed features decorated with scenes of deities and dancers. Outside, through large sliding louvered and glazed double doors was a balcony which extended the full length of the suite, about 40 feet long with two wooden sun loungers and footstools. The rooms were kept spotless with two visits per day by the housekeepers and we were kept supplied with ample complimentary bottles of drinking water and coffee/tea supplies. All the food we had, whether by room service or the restaurants/cafes was delicious. The staff in the club were truly charming and attentive and surprisingly, immediately knew us by our names. They really are a credit to the hotel. The beach had sufficient sun loungers and these were nicely shaded under the trees at the top of the beach. The beach was spotless as it was litter/leaf picked constantly during the day and looked like raked overnight. A free shuttle bus trip, or two, down to the Bali Collection shopping area was very convenient. Here there is a very nice Sogo store for the ‘top end’ collectables (and a very welcome aircon system!) and it accommodates a Starbucks. Also around the area is a myriad of other cafes, clothing, grocery and souvenir shops that can easily engross you for two or three hours. All in all we think this is a very comfortable hotel in a gorgeous location and staffed by wonderful Balinese people.

Good honest Hotel, in a great location - right on the beach.. Very respectful & Highly attentive staff. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast. Awesome and very quiet separate Spa area, to fully enjoy the tranquil ambience of all, that Bali has to offer..

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this resort and we couldn't have made a better choice. The staff was amazing, courteous and welcoming. Make sure you book at least a premier deluxe room. The rooms and resort were Balinese style with all the lovely wood touches. Our room was in a prime location near the pools and beach. The beds and linens were very nice and came with complimentary waters in the bathroom to use.Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices and great coffee. The pools were nice as well as the restaurant on the beach. Great stretch of beach but the water does have seaweed. Lots of chairs, tables and umbrellas to use by the beach. I loved the hotel and the peaceful setting after coming back from noisy Ubud and Kuta. Definately will come back, I don't think this hotel gets enough credit.

Stayed for a week in January 2018, the hotel is Balinese in design and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Public areas and the pool area are kept very clean but the hotel is beginning to show its age. Service around the pool and at the pool bar is good, but once the sun goes down there is very little atmosphere and little to do around the hotel. We went out to the surrounding area every night to eat and find some life! The room was comfortable but again looking a little tired, we overlooked the gardens at the back of the hotel.

Best place we've ever stayed. Absolutely amazing. Food excellent - particùlarly breakfast. Room on 4th floor was spotless, well equipped and bed so comfy!! Staff were so attentive, nothing was too much trouble, always smiling!

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and upgraded to a Palace Club Lagoon room. It was definitely worth the extra money. The staff are world class and the service second to none. We had the most relaxing holiday. The bed and pillows were fabulous, the room was large and comfortable decorated in traditional Balinese style. The beach is beautiful and with Bali Collection nearby with great shopping and excellent well priced restaurants then hotel’s position is great. We would definitely return.

What an amazing place. Yes it is the oldest hotel in the area but that adds to the experience. The palace room was lovely (perhaps the only downside was that it tended to smell a little musty but given the humidity I am not surprised and it improved when the air con was on. The restaurants were great - our favourite was the Tamarind right on the beach. The pool area is lovely and there are loads of sunbeds. The only day we struggled was Nyepi day when the beach was closed. The staff were incredible in the Palace lounge. The ducks, the squirrels, the lizards and the beautiful gardens were amazing. I want to go back now!

Excellent breakfast. Great WiFi support. Nice staff. Direct access to beach. Definitely worth the price if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. But there are tax and service added to almost everything you eat and drink.

We stayed at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa at the end of this March. So many truly wonderful things to say: a place itself with own beach and relaxing pool area that is big enough not feel not crowded at all. Good restaurants in hotel area and nearby, picturesque pathway, a wonderful breakfast, captivating special dinners etc. Our room was on the top floor so You can imagine the beauty and wonderful nature sounds that you see and hear from there. Hotel guests were really polite and if it is okay to say, quiet. It was nice to sleep there without worrying over neighbors who are too loud. Actually, being there makes You feel that You do not want to sleep to much just not to miss all these wonderful things that Bali has to offer. They have a nice little spa with private pool, private tennis court, where you can rent a bicycle and a special private area if you are tired of ocean and pools:) Important detail when traveling with kids - they have their own doctor in the house that is also very calming knowledge. The weather was awesome, hot all the time so we even miss some rain:) But above all, the most wonderful detail that makes Your trip unforgettable are the people in Nusa Dua Beach & Spa hotel. They are most kind and most caring staff I´ve ever met. Arini and her team made our family to feel like home. Like in a very special home where is safe and to where You want to return. Thank You for that!

Having stayed numerous times between 2008 and 2018 our experience here has got better and better. The setting and ambience of the club are excellent but it is the lovely staff who make it superb. They are all so helpful and friendly, we are really made to feel special. Service is second to none, and this is true of the whole hotel. Thanks again Nona, Dian and team and we are looking forward to our next visit.
