We have just spent 6 days totally relaxed in a wonderful hotel in the most beautiful location. The staff in every area of the hotel were attentive, courteous, helpful and the most friendly people i have encountered for some time.Every request was meet with a smile and a total no problems.response We felt at home amongst friends. Everything from our suite, meals, service , panoramic view, to relaxation areas were without flaw. Selamat pagi was the saying spoken many many times on every morning. The stay exceeded all expectations. Ubud is a crown to Bali and Komaneka at Bisma is a jewel in that crown. A quiet oasis in a busy environment. We will return

Beautiful setting and location. Fabulous, warm, friendly and helpful staff. Good food with great service with a gorgeous view. Our suite was large, well appointed and also with a great view and balcony. Flowers on the bed and in the tub on arrival as we were celebrating our anniversary-great touch! Indulge in the massage, again fabulous open air setting and very well done. Use local taxis not hotel service to save, otherwise can find no fault to report, only praise.

We stay at the Komaneka at Bisma for a few nights in March and had the best few days. The whole hotel is stunning and the pool/view is breathtaking! Perfect location, really friendly helpful staff, clean spacious rooms and tasty food. Couldn't fault it, pure bliss.

We spent three nights at the Komaneka - one of the nicer hotels we've ever booked. The hotel offers a high level of personalize service. The property is lovely and very well maintained. All rooms front a beautiful gorge with very little man-made construction within view. The staff learn your name and are quite service oriented. My wife wanted a gamelan lesson and one of the desk staff not only arranged it but visited to make sure the teacher would be there on time. We appreciated the menu (rather than buffet) breakfast. The fitness room is adequate, there is a 0.5km paved walking trail around the property, and pool is quite long and user-friendly. We did not try the spa though the restaurant offered good food and value. There are a number of drivers and cars available if you don't already have one. You can easily walk to Monkey Forest from the hotel and there are several restaurants and spas in an easy walk. The hotel offers an afternoon tea and regular special events. Absolutely great value-for-money at Teh Komaneka!

This hotel was amazing. We loved every bit of this place. The amenities, the service, how welcome they made us feel and how nothing was ever a challenge for them. The place is exquisite, the rooms are beautiful, the location is superb (5-10 min walk from center of ubud) and the service in this hotel is like none other than I have ever received. I'll be coming back to ubud and I'll be staying in this same hotel. Thank you for the beautiful experience. ❤️

I was planning on staying at Komaneka at Bisma during my latest stay; however, the room I had thought of booking got sold out at the lower price, and I had booked another resort ( I stayed at Alaya Ubud). However, being in Ubud, I wanted to check out Komaneka at Bisma grounds and so I went there for lunch. My first impression was wow...set in a such a serene and relaxing setting in the midst of the jungle and rice paddies...I was stunned by the beauty and the greenery. When I think of Ubud, the "backyard" of this resort is exactly what comes to my mind: green bliss. I loved the emerald green pool you can see as you enter the balcony of the lobby. Our restaurant was in the same building as the lobby just on the lower floor. It also overlooked the pool which was even more beautiful not at a closer proximity. The decor of the building and grounds is modern yet Balinese, which I appreciated. The food was delicious. I had taken pictures which I will attach here as well. My friend's ice cold refresher with tamarind and chilli peppers was so good, she did not want to leave. The food prices are a bit steeper than at Alaya, and the portions seemed much smaller, but the food was great anyway. However, the only thing was, the waitress at the restaurant could of been nicer and attentive more. She seemed a bit cold and unattentive at times. Lunch came with fresh crackers of various flavors. After lunch, we were able to walk around a bit and see the resort a bit better. I really loved the grounds and the lady we toured with was really nice. I hope to book here in the future, as the place it self screams relaxing happiness. I also like the fact that there is a shuttle bus provided between all the Komanekas, and if staying at one, one can experience all of (you may have your breakfast, or used their swimming pool). To get to Komaneka from Ubud, I had my driver. I have been using him during each of my Bali's visits. I had used him on three separate occasions and I have also recommended him to my friends and to people in this community. He is a local Bali driver that works for a company but he also does private drives. He is not a tour guide, so he will not charge you extra, only for the use of his car. He drive you anywhere in Bali and does pick up/drop off to the airport. He can drive you to the spa or anywhere and wait for you. He charges a lot less than other drivers in Bali. His name is IKetut Suartana. You can reach him by sending him an sms or phoning him directly at +6282147140702 (You can mention you got the number from Kate and Shelley in Korea).

This property is well maintained with rooms being comfortable and clean. We stayed in one bedroom pool villa. I would recommend as you have total privacy with your own infinity pool. Food was well presented and prepared in restaurant. Service was professional and friendly. At times things seem to take a bit more time than they should, but it must have something to do with Bali time. It's a bit more laid back. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here. I would also recommend any of the other Komaneka related hotels in Ubud as they are just as good.

We stayed for 8 nights with our two small children & loved it. 1st time at Bisma however gave stayed at other Komaneka properties. The staff are very friendly & helpful. We were upgraded part way through our stay due to a maintenance issue in the room, but they were very helpful & accommodating to this need. We didn't mind at all. While it's not a 'family' hotel per say (no kids club, kids pool etc) , we still had a magical family holiday.

All dishes were fantastic. The staff were very attentive. I was happy to recommend my guests to visit Komaneka at Bisma, we all happy with the visit. The scenery is beautiful and it is so peaceful. The infinity pool is perched on the edge of the jungle providing a stunning backdrop. Again, great ambiance, fantastic food and a really good experience.

We had been recommended to stay here from seasoned Ubud travellers, and they were absolutely right. From the moment you arrive the staff are delightful and the ambience of the resort almost permeates you. The suites are stylish, large and well laid out with stunning views. One minor area to be mindful is the lighting in the bathroom is a bit soft. The resorts' facilities are awesome and you're only a 5 minute taxi drive in to the middle of Ubud's art galleries, shops and restaurants.
