My girlfriend and I spent 6 nights at this incredible place. The beach was beautiful and just a few steps from the hotel. Breakfast was delightful with plenty of choices for everyone. The rooms were clean and spacious. We decided to upgrade our room and staff was courteous and facilitated the move fast and efficient. It took no time allowing us to keep enjoying our time there. The staff was polite and always ready assist. The hotel offers dozens of tours to keep kids and adults entertained. We will come again. If you are looking for a incredible place which offers everything then this is the place for you.... look no further!
We just had a very relaxing 6 days here. The staff were charming and helpful, the grounds are very attractive, good selection of pools, good location. Comfortable room, good breakfast, and delicious food at the bar opposite the beach. Azul's has a delicious menu but we didn't have dinner in the main dining area. We had the cheaper rooms and they were up a few steps but it didn't worry us.
We stayed at the Mandira Hotel from the 27 March to 6th April 2018. On our arrival the Staff were great and very Pleasant. However when shown to our room we were very disappointed. We had booked a Deluxe Cottage which cost us extra and was given a 2 story 4 room unit. When we went and companied to the front desk we were told that is what they call a Deluxe Cottage. No way after all our travelling can you call a 4 room 2 storey a Deluxe cottage. I believe this is false advertising in a big way. However after much communication they finally gave us room 311 a room closer to the pool and beach and the said this was an up grade from our booking. Although single story now but had inter joining rooms secured by a locked door. We were lucky to have a friend in the next room so they were quiet and considerate. However, when our friends went home and we had new neighbours who were nosey and had a massive argument to early hours we called security 2 times before they finally calmed down. the noise was excessive and came through to our room due to very poor sound insulation and the interjoining rooms and doors. This is very poor for a so called 4 star hotel. on top of all this my son and wife and 2 children were also annoyed with their room and had to change as well as friends who also changed rooms. The Room are not what they advertise and all need a massive upgrade to bring them into line to be classed as a 4 star and for the TOP money you have to pay to stay here. Lift your Game Mandira. On a positive note the Staff were fantastic, friendly and so helpful and should be congratulated. The pool area and the gardens were fantastic super clean but the wooden pool decking was loose in a lot of places and were lifting. this could be dangerous. For a 4 Star hotel and the price you pay I expected a lot better with the accommodation. We did though thoroghly enjoy our stay.
We travelled in a large group, so all booked through an agent. We paid more for ground floor rooms, only to be given rooms on the first floor, upon asking to upgrade (and even pay the difference) they said that they could not accommodate us as the systems were down, but someone would get back in touch with us when the systems were back up. We never got notified. Then when it came to ordering drinks at the bar, you sign a slip but the actual drinks bill was not attached. So check your bill as you go (can’t check when the systems are down though) there are major issues with towels, take 4 and bring 4 back, if the numbers don’t match, they charge you for towels. Not too hard to manage when it’s a small family but a group of 28, it became a nightmare. A friend was charged for babysitting, and she doesn’t even have a child. And the billing issues went on and on. We go to Bali at least 3-4 times a year, I always like to stay in different hotels, I have never left a bad review in Bali, but here I do not feel you get your money’s worth. Our beds were tiny, and hard. The aircon in the room was not working well and it made the whole room smell mouldy. WIFI almost non existent. Room service menu extremely limited. Phone in room did not ring, kettle did not work. I would never stay here nor recommend this hotel to anyone, there is much better value in Bali!
We love the Mandira. The pool area for kids is fantastic they never want to leave. Breakfast is good something for everyone. Food around the pool is great. Cocktail hour if you get that special is an extra bonus. Only downfall is the bathroom but who really cares you aren’t in there that much. Can’t wait to return again as they are welcoming to return customers
I spent 6 days at the Mandirahotel. The service could not be faulted in any from the room staff, restaurant workers etc etc. it was a wonderful experience staying with such lovely people. The bedroom was excellent and bed very comfortable. The grounds and pools were very clean and well looked after. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice of food that would suit anybody. This hotel would suit anybody. I can’t wait to go back.
Beautiful hotel, great infinity pool. Staff were friendly, accommodating and awesome. The breakfast buffet and restaurant on site were fabulous. Rooms were cosy with an enclosed “outdoor” shower, felt like being in the tropical rainforest. Absolute bliss! Very close to all amenities especially massages and money changer. And beach 400m away. I really have nothing critical to say about this hotel. The next time we stay we will book the biggest rooms just to spoil ourselves even more.
We were a bit worried about going to Bali with a 10 month old. But it was made so easy with the quality of the Bali Mandira hotel. Great location close to everything we needed, staff were amazing with our little boy and the service was great. Couldn’t really fault anything. Like all hotels there are things that could be a little better but nothing is ever perfect. But this was as close to as you could get. Especially for the price the value and quality was great. Would definitely return for another holiday in this hotel.
Arrived early morning (1:00am) tired and ready for bed. Reception formalities handled quickly and efficiently. Our room was a superior, ground floor which on entering smelt a little musty. The air conditioning was set about right, the sheets felt nice and bed was comfortable. In the morning after checking everything within our room, we decided, it was more or less as advertised and were happy with the accommodation. Breakfast, which was included, was more than satisfactory with an excellent selection of European and Asian food. Exploring, the garden layout was beautifully manicured with not a plant out of place. The two pools should satisfied families a main with slides and shallows and an infinity pool at higher level for adults only. Food served during the day was tasty, reasonably priced but tax and service are added making it more expensive than local restaurants outside the complex. The hotel doesn’t have its own beach frontage however, there are beach bars with beds and chairs just across the road. The Sea is rough but obviously great for surfers. With so many beach bars it’s inevitable there is quite a lot of debris scattered about. The area has numerous restaurants which should satisfy most people’s budgets and tastes. Overall I would give the hotel a four star rating, staff were both pleasant and helpful. The hotel has upgraded rooms and spa which didn’t interest us. We would go there again.
Our stay at the bali mandira was nothing short of amazing! The grounds are immaculate and breath taking! The food and service was wonderful all of the staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly. Our room was very nicely presented and the air conditioning was always at perfect temperature 😊 100/100 will be back to stay there and bring the rest of the family with us
