Just stayed at the Anini Raka between 27 September and 04 October. Was a terrific deal and service was exemplary! Anyone concerned about the volcanic activity need not worry here! The Anini is located a full 35 km from Mount Agung. So, check-in and RELAX!!!! There is a free shuttle to downtown Ubud, or, if your like me, and would rather hang-out at the pool rather than shop, the pool (one of two!) was more often than not, all mine! Morning meal was just that! not pastries and coffee, but a full breakfas served to your liking! Room was outstanding! Bathroom alittle dated, but fine!!! Affordable! Clean!, Quiet! What more can I say!

A nice stay in Anini raka hotel. Rooms are big and bathrooms also. The two swimming pools are really nice, and it is well situated in the ricefields, near the center of ubud (15 min walk) and a shuttle is available. The hotel feels a bit old, but for this price it is really good!

We stayed 17 days here and fell in love with the staff. The place is still undergoing make over and making steady progress. We are in an upstairs room with double beds so sharing is good for traveling. Includes daily continental breakfast. Not super exciting but quite adequate and prepared with love and joy. They do their best everyday. Our room was cleaned daily. A little more paint and updating the bathrooms would go a long way. The staff really have a way of making all the weaker points fade. Always a smile with genuine caring and sincerity to help. Swam everyday. Two pools. The smaller one in the back is surrounded by nature and close to the spa where they offer massages and spa treatments. The bigger pool tends to be sunnier in the mornings. Always sparkling clean and fresh. Lots of frogs and geckos and other wildlife in the rice paddies all night long making their sounds communicating with each other. My friend said he'd appreciate electrical adapters and more consistent wifi though for me the wifi seemed pretty stable. Remember, this place is about value and amazing kindness more than luxury and pampering. But I loved my stay here and highly recommend it for the value. The nicer rooms are gorgeous and if you can swing it go for it. They have much better upkeep and a bit more luxurious. Perfect for special occasion.

We have just come back from a lovely week holiday here in ubud. We arrived at 2.30am and the hotel staff where at the airport waiting for us. We arrived at the hotel and where given our room which was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice and the swimming pools where brilliant to cool down after the day trips. We met a brilliant driver called arik who took us on a brilliant private tour in a lovely new air conditioned car he spoke very good English and really made our trip to ubud great. We also rented 2 scooters off him which are a very good way of getting to town as it is a bit far to walk in the heat. If you are in ubud a need a good driver that won't rip you off like some do. His name is Arik and his number is +6281237670006. He also took us to the airport when we left and did a very good price.

I have just spent 7 days at the Anini Raka Resort. It has a certain 70s charm. The complex seems somewhat outdated but in saying that, it was extremely clean and the staff very obliging and helpful. The restaurant meals were simple and very tasty. The in house day spa masseuse 'Oka' was especially wonderful and we would highly recommend her services.

The resort is well located. The whole resort is in natural surrounding with plants all over. 2 pools. Rooms are very spacious. Bathroom are big and have bath tub. Tea coffee maker is provided in room. Many restaurant nearby. One Indian restaurant is opposite to the resort. But breakfast was not much to talk about.

A beautiful and peaceful resort just outside Ubud central. It has two swimming pools, one of which is 24 hours. Breakfast is small in quantity but overall service is good. The resort is surrounded by rice fields and the location is quite beautiful! Right outside is an Indian restaurant for vegeterian which is a real plus point.

We stayed at the Anini Raka hotel in july 2017. The hotel is placed in a quiet area of Ubud, but the center of the town can be reached either by the free shuttlebus or by a 15 min walk. The hotel grounds were clean and with lots of plants and flowers. The rooms were a bit run down but were clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the large patio in front of our rooms. Breakfast was ok with the same four choices every day. A large Bintang supermarket, ATMs and restaurants were all close by. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. So all in all a good choice of hotel if you want some peace and quiet in Ubud.

I get an Offer for this stay ,like 400th.IDR , but was just for one day . For this ,it s a great deal. Room (Aster 8) good space , clean ,good nr.of hanger in the Board . Wonderful view to ricepaddy ,and pool direct access .So cheaper room s in here means not lower comfort . Con : A/C a bit noisy ,some switch off/on connect with main Switcher ,reading lights are near bed ,but low bulb ,and not really a spotlight .And the two spotlight above bed = needs a while ,to find hidden switch ,and then only one worked .Breakfast quiet well okay for few days . All not a big deal. Shuttle Service is well good ,one more in evening time 2 x also ,and pickup for back too . Nearby few hidden tighten path to the backwards water- canal , which is nice to discover . Nearby also few very good gallery s ( Egoshop ,TAMAN ,ARTOMORROW ) and the NEKA Museum . Would like come again .

I stayed at Anini raka for 4D/3N. The resort is a quiet retreat for all with green paddy adjacent to it. The pool is good too. The best part of my stay were the staff, always ready to help with a smile:-) 👍🏻
