We just spent 4 nights here and loved every minute of it. Excellent large clean rooms with views of nothing but jungle. Super quiet, excellent food, good prices, far enough out of town for peace and quiet but close enough for a ten minute ride to the centre of Ubud. We loved the place and everything it had, even the 200 steps down to the river below. There are steps everywhere which we didn't mind, but might be difficult for small children. We'd stay here again in a heart beat!!!
Me and my boyfriend stayed here 8th - 12th September 2017. Our first time in Bali. Absolutely nothing to fault. Incredible scenery. Staff were so welcoming, polite and helpful at all times. Our villa was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were always good & catered for all. The shuttle into the town & back was an absolute god send. We used their free shuttle service everyday & planned our day around the scheduled shuttle times. Only a 20 minute drive from Ubud centre. Brilliant town, lots going on. Selection of restaurants and shops all over. I highly recommend Anahata. Very very happy with our experience and stay!
Anahata Villas & Spa Resort we arrived after 10pm yesterday and your staff was graciously waiting for us and welcomed us with the quintessential #balinese smiles. To our great surprise we were upgraded to a three bedroom villa with a #plungepool ....this morning we realized we were in #paradise - #ubud #bali is one of God's playground on earth. Thank you for your generosity. There are many options to choose from when visiting Ubud. I believe the Anahata gives you the best value for your money: =>Secluded yet a short drive into town (shuttle service provided) => located on same route as other $$$ properties. => friendly & professional service => Private river and waterfall on property ....many, many more attributes. I highly recommend you consider staying at Anahata resort & spa. I am writing this review as we are staying here and my only regret is that we did not book a longer stay. We will delight in every minute of our stay 😊❤️😘 #couples #travel #CareFreeTimelessness #pricelessmoments
I stayed at this resort from 9 Sep to 11 Sep. What is good. Location. Scenic beauty. What is bad. (this is going to be a long list. Hold on) Maintainanace Service Construction Totally unfriendly for kids. Restaurant has just 1 high chair. Break fast is supposed to get over by 10:30. But most of the dish gets over by 10. So please stay away from this resort.
anahata is the best place to have retreat within body and soul. it's like going back to home that we really want the scenery is beautiful, i went here with my mam and my sisters, we love it so much. feel very comfortable and relax
My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at Anahata. Coming from a 5-star resort on the beach to Anahata in the jungle was a bit of a shock but given the cost and age of the resort, it was quite lovely. Staff were very friendly and welcoming here. We were upgraded to the 3 bedroom villa which was honestly too big for my husband and I but two of the three floors were still nice. The bottom floor needed some TLC. I was also surprised to see that the pool/yard area was filled with spiderwebs. I am not usually one afraid of bugs or one to complain about them but when they are hanging on the umbrella of the table you're suppose to use outside its kind of gross. We did notice they must have gotten rid of them a couple days into our stay, however! We were grabbing things from the minibar however it was not replenished which was weird. Spa prices are great and the experience was nice however professionalism could improve. I got into the spa room and the woman said (kindly) take off your dress and bra and she remained standing in front of me. I would have liked to have a robe or some privacy in this moment as the two other resorts I got massages at in Bali provided me with a robe and privacy to change. Food was average but the variety was nice! Grounds were maintained well for the most part but could use some TLC. However, it's probably difficult being in the jungle. Shuttle to Ubud was nice but like many people, a return after 530 is not available which we wouldn't have used anyways but it would be a good option for some. Very quiet and secluded resort which was nice as well as feeling like you're in the middle of the jungle! Pretty unique. If you're someone that doesn't mind an older place that isn't luxury quality and you want a quiet, private resort, Anahata may be for you!
Wow wow wow!! The most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in...it should be 5* or at least a 4* on booking.com - NOT a 3*...and the room rate should be so much higher for what you get. I honestly don't know where to begin..upon arrival from Seminyak where we had stayed in an average hotel we were so happy to be at Anahata. Greeted with cold refreshing flannels and a cold drink wrapped in a jungle leaf with a flower was a lovely touch. We were informed that for our 3 night stay we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa rather than a one bedroom one! We were taken to our mansion (only two of us, both 24) our bags were carried, and we were given a detailed tour of the villa. Firstly the views were breathtaking, I couldn't believe it. I thought that this place couldn't be as good as the pictures on booking.com but it's better! The rooms were absolutely huge, we chose to sleep in the master room upstairs and it was ginormous. Every inch of the villa was spotlessly clean, if you're looking for a true taste of Bali then this is for you! The views are ones you may never experience again and everywhere is so so peaceful (minus the cockerel and water sounds from the pools but these add to the experience) The staff were absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough for us, so thank you for making our stay so special. On our second day we asked for an extra sun lounger in our garden, before we had even walked inside and got changed from our day clothes into our swimming stuff the lounger was outside - you don't find service like that in many hotels. We had a full itinerary for our three days in Ubud - which meant we wouldn't be spending much time in the villa, but we changed our whole itinerary hours after arrival so that we would only be away for two mornings - that's how much we loved it. We spent every afternoon from 1pm in our private pool enjoying he views and feeling very lucky! Even when we were in ubud town (visiting monkey sanctuary and rice fields etc, we both were desperate to get back to the peacefulness of the hotel). We planned to get a taxi into Ubud each night for our evening meal - however, we ate at the hotel every night, which was so lovely, there is no need to waste the money on taxis into ubud for your evening meal. The food was amazing and so was the service, we were given complimentary starters (garlic bread) and nuts. Maybe if you were staying for a week going out to a different place for dinner might be a good idea on some nights. The hotel is very small, only 10 villas and 5 rooms - so everything is very personal. Staff will go above and beyond, always smiling, saying hello and good night and making you feel welcomed. This is not a busy hotel, which adds to how special it is. Little touches like the fresh fruit in the bowl make it what it is. Extremely romantic, and a stay we won't forget in a hurry - we have stayed in some lovely 4/ 5* hotels before, but this hotel tops any we have stayed in. To push up to a 5* I would just say some of the walls in the villa need a fresh lick of paint but I don't think this is important. People who say the villas are dated have obviously never experienced a traditional Balinese hotel. Everything was perfect, please don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it! We are so sad to leave and wish we had booked longer here! Thank you again to everyone at Anahata!
I have to say that Anahata villas in Ubud has been the best stay in Bali. It was simply surprising from the moment we were received and taken to our villa. The breath-taking large villa and the view to the rain forest is just unique. I loved the fact that the room had such a big bed and a big bathroom. The balcony and the view are the best! Also loved the breakfast variety, the waffle maker and pancakes. Such a great personnel, very helpful and the best in class customer service. While you are there, please try a Love Indulgence couples massage. It is going to be fantastic, especially since the spa is amazing. I can only say good things about this place, it was the best experience I have ever had and I would recommend it to anyone, friends, couples, families, honeymooners. I would love to come back one day, hope soon.
We stayed at a 3-bedroom private pool villa with amazing views of the forest surrounding the resort. The villa is huge and we couldn't believe that we only paid a few bucks for it. You won't find a villa of the same very affordable price anywhere in my home country, the Philippines. The villa's private pool is small but the resort has a big infinity pool a few steps from their restaurant. Further steps down is the beautiful Petanu River. The whole resort is a little bit dated and it's a bit far from the center of Ubud but we really loved our stay there.
This was the most relaxing family holiday we have ever had. The gorgeous view and tranquil gardens set the atmosphere but it was the super friendly staff who really made us feel at home. They were great with the kids and anticipated our every need in the laid back beautiful way the Balinese people are known for. And there were monkeys in the garden which were controlled by staff so we could admire and not fear. We'll be back!
