Terrific stay

We had a great week in this house! Super clean, bright and every amenity we could have asked for! Host was very responsive when my husband let him know about problem with golf cart which he dealt with immediately. My only concern would be to keep a watchful eye on small dogs and children as the property abuts a marsh way that we saw a quite large alligator hanging around! Definitely fun to see but please don’t feed!! Also a beautiful neighborhood deck area to watch the birds and wildlife! Highly recommend this house! Thanks for the opportunity to stay!

Great cottage on Bald Head

Very comfortable cottage-new golf carts were fantastic as were the beach chairs and towels provided. For our family, who flew to be on Bald Head, it was a perfect spot.

Family Vacation

Property was even better in person. We have been vacationing on BHI for over 20 years and have stayed all over the island. 6 Sable Palm was clean, and perfect for our family of 4. Able to access both clubs if you desire (make sure to apply early), two brand new golf carts and all within a the most reasonable price point for the island. Thank you for another relaxing and memorable year!

Quick beach trip

Good location - quick trip to beach, market, marina Lagoon backyard and cottage area nature overlook was great Kitchen was well stocked with gadgets and cookware Golf carts rocked - Bluetooth music made any drive seem short Evening games/puzzles kept us entertained Met all our needs

Great location

We enjoyed our stay . House was perfect size for the 5 of us . Loved having the lagoon . I saw a alligator, ibis, egrets and turtles. Enjoyed having coffee on the porch watching for wildlife! House is in great location , sorta middle! Was very quiet and peaceful in the Sabal Cottages. Would love to come back here !

A wonderful getaway

We spent 3 nights in this great house. The owners were very accommodating from the moment I booked the reservation, and the house was perfect for our family. It is spacious, clean, and well stocked. The golf carts were great for getting around the island. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful week in Bald Head

Our family of 5 (3 teens) stayed at 6 Sabal Palm cottage. We had a great stay with plenty of room to spread out. Beds were comfortable and the house is updated nicely. The house had everything we needed- including beach towels, beach chairs. We enjoyed playing games at night and sitting on the back porch. We saw a few alligators, turtles, and egrets. The property manager was very communicative and went out of his way to help us out with anything we needed. Thanks for. a great stay!

Wonderful, relaxing stay for family of 5

This was my family’s first Bald Head Island trip and it did not disappoint. The house was great for my husband, three teens and me. There was plenty of room and the house was clean and very private, but close to restaurants and the market. We saw gators in the lagoon behind the house every day. The kitchen had everything we needed and the two golf carts were great. Barbara was easily accessible and took care of our needs. Great experience.

Great House!

This house is beautiful! Totally updated with view of lagoon. Centrally located making all outings super easy. Kitchen is well stocked and living room is large and comfy. The screened porch is great for reading and watching wildlife. We had 6 adults and had a great time. Didn’t see any bikes or a grill but we rented bikes and cooked inside. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay

We have been on the island for many years. This was a change from our East Beach roots but we loved the location. It took us a while but we were even able to walk to the ferry on our departure date after we dropped our luggage. Nice and quiet local. Perfect house layout for 4 teens and two adults.

Gorgeous Marsh-Front Cottage

First time bringing my 80 year old grandmother (for her birthday) and family to BHI and it was absolutely magical! The house was crystal clean and very well stocked...and very comfortable! Located right on the edge of a pond/marsh with an impressive abundance of exciting and serene wildlife. This in my opinion was so much better than being on the ocean. The house is so close to everything, located in the most central of locations. & Barbara, the property manager...she made this the most wonderful vacation for everyone in my group. I have never had a VRBO stay that had a property manager so attentive and friendly. Barbara catered to each and very one of our questions/needs within minutes. I rate this property easily a 10/10, and will definitely be back!

Another GREAT week at Bald Head

We just returned from another fantastic vacation on Bald Head. This is the 2nd time staying in this house. It is very well stocked, in a great location and would definitely stay here again. Barbara, the house host was very quick to respond and very helpful.

We love BHI!

Pros: Great Vacation! House fully stocked and very nice. Once on island : good communication. Cons: Advertised a grill but no grill. Also some of beach items broken when we got there. Communication 2-3 weeks out was not the best. Asked several times about club membership and finally was told to call them myself. Overall great location and amazing time just wish some of extras were in better condition and it was easier to get in touch with someone.

Sabal Palm Perfection

We stayed for a long weekend. The house was immaculate, beds were very comfortable and the location was great! We really enjoyed staying inland with the lagoon in the back watching turtles soaking in the sun and listening to all the birds. Location made it an easy cart ride to the market, light house, the creek access and the beach.

Such a great place to stay on BHI!

We loved staying here! We came for spring break with our kids and had the best time. Lovely view of the lagoon. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We will be back! :)
