Ramada Hotel Bahrain

4.0 out of 5.0

Old hotel which is good value for money given its location. Breakfast was included in the price and was average. Very helpful staff who provided transport to airport for return journey and also information on surrounding area

The Ramada is an older property but in the past year, they have updated the rooms, including larger LED tv's. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions. If you drink alcohol the bar is nice with plenty of football. One of the best things about this location is that you can walk to the best restaurants and carpet shops in Adliya rather than fighting the weekend traffic. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Stay here regularly when in Bahrain, normally for two nights. No issue with late check-in or late check-out. Staff are very friendly and beds are very comfy. Bar is a bit so, but you are welcome back with a smile every time.

Stayed for 2 days on a business trip. Everything was better than expected. Nice and friendly staff, convenient location, nice food, free breakfast buffet, free airport shuttle, nice and clean rooms, smaller but convinient pool, and a good English bar....

I stayed in non-smiking room, but smoke odor was stenching the whole floor; I wonder how smoking and non-smoking rooms kept in same floor! Staff was nice, but need training; my booking was including breakfast but none of receptionists provide info on restaurant and breakfast hours.

The hotel rooms, bar and pool area are quite old and a little tired, but the place was good value, really clean and tidy and the staff were excellent throughout. The location is great being walking distance from the Grand Mosque and also having approx 10 restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk.

We got booked in early, that was great, room 216 was big, supper cold A/C, use it to cool your water as the fridge was just under warm. The only big problem was the door gaps let in a lot of light. Reception has been done up since we were there last, it and the business room are very nice. Bar was not crowded, breakfast was very good, with real bacon, ask for pork sausages as well. Niff naff and great local eateries are just round the corner as well as classy restaurants. We have stayed 4 times now so that says a lot, staff are excellant also.

I cannot fault anything about this hotel. Everything was perfect. I was a solo female traveller on business. Bed was very comfy. Aircon was set perfect. Spotlessly clean bathroom. Fluffy towels. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

I stayed for 10 days. First, the room was clean and comfortable and on a non smoking floor. Good internet and a decent selection of TV channels. Bathroom and shower were also very good. I only ate breakfast in the restaurant. That was OK, with some good fruit, but a bit more to choose from would have been better. Maybe add some pancakes and more pastries. I ate frequently in the pub. That was good - the food and service were always OK. Smoking is permitted in there, so it can be a bit unpleasant at times. Air conditioning everywhere is a bit too effective at times. Take a jumper!

A large twin room which contained all the necessary facilities. It was a quiet time in mid March and the place was very quiet. The bar was practically deserted at night. This is a hotel which was well fitted out when first built, however it has now been there for 20 plus years and the bedroom was looking tired and in need of enhancement. There must be many others in the area which are newer and better fitted out. On the plus side the position is very central and its easy to walk to most places of interest. It was also clean.
