Delmon International Hotel

I stayed at the Delmon because of the price and location. The saying that you get what you pay for is fitting for this place. The rooms are very old and stink of old cigarette smoke. When you leave you have to wash everything to get rid of the smell. The noise in my room from the street and drunks getting out of the elevator led to a night of 2 hours sleep. The hotel has bars that are full of prostitutes that don't understand what the word NO means. Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere. You have been duly warned.

The hotel was lovely and a good location, rooms were spacious if a little tired, beds were comfy bathroom was clean and well presented, if you want tea making facilities, hairdryer etc you need to ask at reception, but otherwise they are happy to help. The staff in the bar were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent and can't be faulted with lots of choice and well presented. The pool was good but be aware of unwanted attention and don't be afraid of being rude by ignoring them. It's not a hotel for families or lone travellers unless your a man.

Hotel is located in city centre.Rooms were clean and tidy.helpful who loves night life Diggers club is the best with chinese chiks.Hookers are roam around and it was really disgusting while in Bar. Non-proffessional Thai and Indian Spa.

Great location right in the centre. Buses to/from the airport are frequent and stop just a block away. My room was comfy but showed some wear in places. Staff was polite and professional. Gym seems OK, but I didn't have time to use it. Breakfast was so-so. The Australian pub was more Bangkok than Brisbane = great if you want a "thai experience"...not so if you just want to have a cold beer after a long day. The hotel seems to be a hub in "Sin City" for the Saudis and with the right attityd it's a rather interesting experience. I couldn't help to notice the convenient location of the Gold City jewelry market across the street, with great gift buying options for anyone have a bad conscience

Only 15 minutes from the Airport this hotel is centrally located in town. Whilst starting to show its age the hotel is clean, efficient and offers good accommodation. The rooms are large and have a king size bed beautifully covered and made up the same every day. there is a mini bar but not supplied with anything. They have tie back drapes in the room and I would recommend not forgetting to close them at night as the light penetration is high and early. When you arrive first time in the room the air con has been on full and the room feels like a fridge, I turned mine down to slow and then off, even after 3 days it was cool. The bathroom is well supplied with soap, shampoos and shaving kit. This is where the "jaded" part comes in, the shower for some reason lacked heat and pressure, even on full hot the water was tepid and slow. After coming in from 38 deg and sticky you want a good hot and pressured shower. I did ask the reception to fix this and they were on it within minutes, a slight improvement but still not great. Now the down side. The hotel is in a bustling part of town and is on a corner so you get three streets of traffic and they know how to sound the horn. Most nights I was woken by this and music ---- loud music. I was never sure where exactly this came from?My room was on the right side and facing a main street (256) so was quite noisy, my colleagues also said the music was loud. From the lobby you can walk right through the hotel passing several rooms playing all types of music. at the end is a bar called "Diggers". A well known bar in town and frequents a live band (pretty poor) and a mass of ladies of the night. Very dark inside and smoking allowed. I stayed jut 5 minutes due to this. The restaurant was quite large but never inhabited by many. I did not use it other than my late arrival where I had a good plate of natchos and salsa (recommended). This room also dubs as a drinking area with waiters service. Altogether I would say I would recommend the hotel and it represented fair value compared to some of the high rise hotels around?Bustling streets with bars, golds selling etc around but I had no time to visit on my trip.

We stayed for 2 nights. rooms were clean & comfortable. (we dnt hear any noise as other members mention, may be our room was on 2nd floor that's why). Representative at counter was helpful. Hotel is having bar, club and massage center. BE AWARE THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR FAMILIES.

Very cheap but was clean and roomy. Staff were very nice and the location is great and everything is within walking distance. Good bars in there as well. Lots of people staying and it is very lively with lots of activities.

Great place, every culture enjoying their selves. Local dancing, rocking, coffee and drink. Cool room, basic but clean. Cheap but still proud of its past. Breakfast, local and western. Eggs as you like, no marmite but plenty of tea.

helpful staff , check in and check out was in minutes, room was specious and comfortable bed , entertaining atmosphere, centrally located for business and leisure, no complain at all, wish to visit and stay again, only pool was not maintained and ATM machines inside the hotel,

The hotel was once a leading place in Bahrain. Now, it is a slightly faded glory. However, the rooms are spacious, well furnished and clean. It is much better value than most. Worries about the pub/disco and noise levels are overstated. Diggers pub is lively, and has an excellent Filipino band. Hotel staff really helpful.
