My friends we’re planning for a seafood night dinner buffet. And end up dining at crown plaza for there seafood night. I enjoyed my crabs and all the crustaceans in my platter! Everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon for another round of seafood platter!
Staff were so kind and attentive to our needs and the food they’re preparing every Tuesday and Thursday for their Seafood Buffet Night is very sumptuous and fulfilling to our stomach. Can’t wait until the dine in we will do.
We stayed in Crown Plaza for 3 nights. The place is great for visitors. Room Services were very good. The best I liked is the A/C as an Asthma person I need correct temperature. Place is completely safe and has a hugh meeting room. The Hotel was on high level and Asela (organizer and driver) can show a lot of interesting and nice places as well as suggest places to eat and drink. If you would like to see several places it is better to take several days trip.
I would like to say about room it's excellent... very clean and very comfortable... Swimming pool is dig and nice... amazing drinks in the bar... very helpful staf.. amazinge service in the breakfast restaurant and delicious food... Thanks.. I give this hotel 5 star
Bad experience there! 1. After taking off clothes, I found that In room they put two conditioners but no shampoo! Called housekeeping, they sent another two conditioners! Called again, they again sent another brand conditioners!!! What’s wrong! Even the guy tried to say this is shampoo!! Can u read!?! Had to call the third time and finally got shampoo! But how much time I was waiting naked!!! 2. Asking to print some list. It took 3.5 hours !!! I called many times to remind them. But still 3.5 hours . Omg 3. I booked deluxe room. But they even downgraded to standard room even I am a ihg platinum member. I should get upgraded, but u gave me downgrade!? After arguing, they give me deluxe. No upgrade 4. Even this is deluxe room, or as they told me, it’s quite small!!!! 20 square meters ?? 5. For ihg members, it’s really bad to stay in this CP. no benefits even for platinum member! Try to avoid it 6. Even I complained to the duty manager, the way they treated u still sucks. This will be my last choice for this hotel !!!! Really bad
Great hotel for a two-night weekend stay. Most sightseeing locations are a short taxi ride away..., bank, Starbucks, market are all withing walking distance of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was extremely good, a great way to start the day.
The main reason why am visiting this hotel are the staff, specially the main restaurant staff; they are so friendly and funny, you feel like you are in your home. The hotel is old but elegant and you will enjoy staying there.
This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here for work. I am consistently amazed at the staff here! Every single person is bright, cheery and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they really know how to make you feel very special. It’s rare!!!! Even my birthday got a beautiful cake and a beautiful song! This little things are what makes a hotel exceptional!! The rooms are big n comfy and very clean! I have nothing but great things to say! You can stick your “7” star hotels: this one is the one I shall always use! It’s outstanding. Thanks team Crowne Plaza! Be proud of your brilliant team! They are fantastic.
We visited for a long weekend and were pleased overall with our stay. There was a pretty lively brunch going on in the hotel bar when we arrived, but check-in was easy. We were on the top floor, but somehow only climbed one flight of stairs. There did not seem to be an elevator. Staff carried our luggage up, but an elevator would have been nice to bring our bags down. Several areas were under construction, but that didn’t really affect our stay. We had breakfast in the restaurant each morning (Harvesters, I think), and while the selection was pretty carb-heavy and the food was nothing noteworthy, the service was outstanding. The location made it easy to get to the new Avenues mall and other destinations in the area. The room was comfortable, great A/C, limited TV channels, comfy bed. The view was of the A/C units, but we had booked the cheapest rate. You get what you pay for, although we are IHG members, so an upgrade would have been a nice gesture.
Try the seafood night buffet! Check their seafood night schedule and make sure you make pre arrangement. One of the best I got experience in Bahrain for seafoods. The Japanese sushi and sashimi are worth for the budget. We will definitely go back here!
