The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was like a condotel we were able to cook our meals. The hallway is spacious. The parking space is nice. The short road uphill going to Azalea was under construction that entails hazard to traveller. The hotel has good selection of menus and taste good.
This stay is actually a gift for my parents in celebration of their anniversary. I have to say that they enjoyed their experience at this hotel and according to my mom, the place was lovely and she loves the room. She was surprised with the add ons like the flowers and the greeting card but my only comment is that it's a bit costly for Php 1,000. My mom sent me the pic of the flowers and it's not worth it. Also, the penmanship written to the card is kinda awful. Maybe a printed one would do. Overall, they enjoyed the stay and I have to say thank you to your TA partner, Mr. Toffy Bartolome for the hassle free booking. More power :)
Shower had broken heater (Hello! Its Baguio!) Bathroom would have been better with a bathroom mat of some sort. Room had a ceiling fan but it was useless at noon when its super hot. Even with the windows open, heat could get unbearable. Good thing we decided to explore Baguio and not stay in our room. Otherwise, we would have been very uncomfortable. Ceiling fan was no help at all. Food is okay. Variation of menu everyday. Staff are friendly. Although I did notice on one occassion that the people on the front desk would all go to the back room to talk and eat. Leaving no one to entertain guests. Parking is not much of a hassle. Except no elevator from parking to the lobby so you'd have to carry all your stuff up the stairs. Or you can drop them off first at the entrance before you park the car. THEY DONT HAVE A GYM!!!!! Big sad face for that! I mean not having a pool is okay. But they need to work on having a gym!
We have been to a lot of hotels and Azalea is one of our favorites. Staff members were professional but warm and courteous. The facilities were excellent. And they were quick to respond if there were concerns. We had a great time! We are definitely coming back.
Really worth the price you'rr paying for, you get what you see is advertised. If there's anything that could be improved it would be the addition of a lift from other basement levels to the hotel rooms, really a hassle if you bring heavy stuff :)
The room we used RM 415 was spacious, It had a well equipped kitchenette, a flat screen with cable and a good sized tilt and bath. I would rate the room as better than the other hotel rooms I have stayed at in Baguio. The staff were good, capable, and friendly. Room for improvement on the breakfast buffet, and facilities for lounging around and for family with children. The lobby doubled as a spill out area for the lone F&B outlet. Location is ok but entrance road quite narrow, more so when vehicles are parked. During our stay a huge truck was parked/broke down, making entry/exit to the hotel challenging even to one using a compact car. Overall, rating is still very good.
Staff are finding ways on how to charge more to their Guest. They were charging me additional 2 person even I've indicated that I have my 3 kids (age 11,10 & 7) with me during my booking. I've insisted to waive the 2 person but it took a while before they agree with me. Another thing is they charged me full for 1 night right away even without getting my credit card. I've asked also that my preferred room is in the front balcony then they asked again upgrade charge, their reason is because I've booked online and they just giving the lower rate room for those who booked online. I just paid the additional charge to avoid long argument with their staff. No lift in the parking area, if you parked in basement 3 you will lose your breath and feel dizzy before you reach the ground floor/elevator. Room, Food & Location are great but having staff that are not friendly to their guest will give them poor review and possibly guest will not come back.
Overall very happy with the visit. Nice quiet location with beautiful entrance. Easy access to everything in Baguio. Staff first class, very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast a big plus, well laid out and plenty of variety. Room was excellent. Our 4th time to Azalea and improves with each visit, Recommend to all visiting Baguio.
Me and family went to Baguio and stay at Azalea for 2days and 1 night. We really had a great time staying in the hotel. The staff were nice and no need to wait longer during check out. Definitely we will comeback on the next visit.
Second time here. We booked the barkada package promo. Where we have additional 1Kphp food credit and 20% off in their restaurant. Good people and stuff. Very accommodating with every need we requested. Will definitely go back here.
