Convenient location, near river, bar and restaurant a local destination. Nice features such as tablet in the room. Staff attentive and helpful. Historic flavor with up to date amenities.
The hotel is near the center but in an adult (red-light)entertainment area. Parking is provided but people lingering in the lot made it frightening. One man was urinating on cars. The room was spacious and the furnishings Spartan but okay. Hotel advertises air conditioning. Our room with air on full was about 32C (90 F)...same as outside. Impossible to sleep. Room refrigerator was also not cooling. Staff unconcerned about air conditioning issue. Do not recommend. 2½ star
Very nice, hotel staff very helpful and courteous!!!
We arrived by train into Kassel to spend Christmas and this hotel was very nice and literally right outside the door of the train station. We had two rooms - one for us and one for our adult children to share. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!!
