The room was full of cobwebs in corners of the room. It was muggy, the air conditioning wasn’t taking the humidity out of the room and the sheets felt damp. Check-in was not very easy. I made reservations weeks in advance and they had trouble finding them in the computer.

Bad Axe thumb trip

We were there for 3 nights. Room was nice, clean and air-conditioning worked well. Staff was friendly. Liked the bench attached to the closet unit, was very easy to store luggage. Beds were comfortable. Short drive to the coast of the thumb in all directions. Couple of suggestions, some type of lighting in the entrance area of the room, could not see when it was dark if we hadn't left a light on, also to make coffee, use the refrigerator or microwave. Local guide to restaurants and stores near by would have been nice as well as information on using the tv remote. Did not seem to have access to internet to watch other than the channels provided. Would have liked a direct access to the hot6el via telephone as well Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to others

The property was nice and staff friendly. H a d handicapped room. Not enough grab bars in the bathroom and what there was, was to far apart. The beds where way to high even for me. Offered a cheap plastic step stool for 89 year lady to use to get into the bed. Not safe. She had to sleep on lounge chair and was uncomfortable all night and hurting in the morning. Need lower beds for handicapped of all ages and abilitys and more grab bars for use in the bathroom.
