La Maison at La Belle Etoile is a beautifully restored 19th-century stone cottage combining traditional French character with modern comfort. Situated on the edge of the peaceful village of Avon-les-Roches, in the heart of the Loire Valley, it provides spacious accommodation for up to six guests. Surrounded by over an acre of gardens, woodland and open green spaces, La Maison offers privacy, tranquillity and an ideal base for discovering one of France's most beautiful regions.

Heated Swimming Pool

Guests enjoy access to our heated 10m x 4m swimming pool, shared exclusively between only two independent cottages. Dedicated private pool times are allocated to each cottage throughout the day, allowing everyone to enjoy peaceful swimming while maintaining the relaxed atmosphere that our guests value. The pool is available throughout the season from mid-May until the end of September.

Spend your days exploring magnificent châteaux including Chinon, Villandry, Langeais, Ussé and Chenonceau, discover charming villages and local markets, or enjoy walking and cycling through the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Wine lovers will appreciate being in the heart of the renowned Chinon wine region, where welcoming vineyards offer tastings of the area's famous Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc wines.

For those seeking outdoor activities, the area offers canoeing on the River Vienne, cycling along quiet country lanes, woodland walks and a variety of family attractions, making La Maison an excellent base for every generation.

Ideal for Families and Larger Groups

La Maison comfortably accommodates up to six guests. For extended families or larger groups, our second cottage, La Grange, can also be booked (subject to availability), allowing up to ten guests to stay together while enjoying the privacy of two independent cottages, each with its own private outdoor space.
