We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The kitchen in the suite was great, and the hotel was close to the buses that take you to Beaver Creek (free) or Vail ($4) ski hills. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was very clean. Some of the amenities were closed due to Covid, but the pool and outdoor fire pit were still open for booked time slots.
Onsite parking was convenient. Our room had pots and pans but no cook top...? The bedroom had no overhead lights, and some electrical outlets were inoperable throughout. Had to hunt around to charge cell phone or laptop. The room had a stacked mini washer dryer but it sounded like a jack hammer LOUD. We were never cold, if you like it warm this place is for you. We had to open a window to tame the heat. The thermostats were just for looks. Overall a decent place.
I love this hotel. We got one with the balcony and can see the mountains it’s absolutely beautiful there was laundry in the room so I could dry my clothes and wash them. Beautiful hotel. Definitely five stars. Staff are very friendly
So cozy and lovely environment! Hopefully, I have the chance to come back again.
We and some friends stayed there recently. We had a wonderful experience. It was beautiful, the staff was so accommodating, and the rooms were perfect. We love having a full kitchen as that cuts down on the cost of eating out. The jacuzzi tub was so incredibly needed after a day of skiing. The lemon water was delicious and I looked forward to a cup each time we returned from an adventure. Thanks for making my first trip to Colorado so warm and inviting. I hope to return.
This hotel thought of everything!! Its close to Vail as well as Beaver Creek. Room and Bed are comfy and cozy!!!
Loved our recent stay at Sheraton. hotel was very comfortable and had great interiors too. Our room had a very nice view as well. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.
I was surprised to find out at 2:00 AM that I had not noticed the hotel is not air conditioned. I had to open windows and the patio door to attempt to cool the room down. Due to the fact our room faced I-70 the highway noise made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Naturally for winter time sports this place would be awesome. I was there in April and the outside temperature was higher than normal but I cannot imagine what it would be like in July and August.
Good hotel in every aspect I recommend this place for skiing in Vail
Our stay was great and was very awarding. My daughters dance crew placed second in a dance competition, held at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colorado.
We were pleasantly surprised to see that it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very nice and clean, and the staff was very professional and attentive to our needs. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Avon.
The room was furnished well and included a fully stocked kitchen. There was also a bluray player in the room that was updated. Our only complaint was how hot and noisy the room was. It has 2 fireplaces and we ended up not using them and opening the windows. We also had to use earplugs to sleep as the walls were thin.
We had a very enjoyable ski trip to Beaver Creek. This hotel was gorgeous and well-kept. A little far from the center of town, but there are shuttles for free transportation. Overall very good experience.
Much nicer than I expected with fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, and even dishwasher and washer and dryer to make the hotel feel like home.
O.K., maybe its a 3 1/2 because its not a swanky hotel, but almost EVERYTHING you need is here. Full sized fridge, microwave, jetted oversized tub, 2 t.v.s, dvd player, Bose music system, nice grill on the patio, garage parking with ski lockers. Whats missing? A stove (insurance reasons I'm sure) and air conditioning. We stayed in August and the fans with the windows open were just fine. I can see if it were any warmer than say 60 at night that it could get a little warm.
I was not sure what to expect. The pictures where ok but there were not many of them, and it could have gone either way. I was very impressed when I arrived at the room and would stay again in a heartbeat.
